The ham, egg, and cheese croissant is the best around. Donuts are light and delicious with a hint of cinnamon. The ladies are always pleasant and helpful.
Long time best kept secret in town and on the eastside at that! Now you better be patient with the beautiful people who run the establishment. Sometimes they run out but, always try to replenish. Equally good as Dufrene ( old Best bakery) only GD has kolaches . Better than Mr Ronnie?s, never thought that possible. Bonus, they support our newly elected president.
The best donuts in Houma Louisiana the service is wonderful. Everybody is So kind you must make it there fast because everyone go there and buy all the donuts lol they are so good
Donuts and breakfast were almost gone at 7:45 am. I was third in line when I arrived and a man brought half of store of products. I had to announce to the staff that this is my first visit. I managed to get the last sausage breakfast taco, a boudin kolache, a Bacon, cheese and egg croissant sandwich and some donut holes. ALL DELICIOUS. When I left there was line outside the door. Better than Shipleys in Houston, TX!
Typical good donut restaurant atmosphere. But the breakfast sandwiches and donuts here are perfect start to the morning. The ham egg and cheese croissant really hit a spot. Along with the donuts just everything really satisfying.

Hands down, these are the best donuts you will ever eat. Not only are they visually appealing by their perfectly shaped and glazed appearance, but they literally melt in your mouth. Once you've had donuts from Golden Donuts, nothing else compares. And don't even get me started on their kolaches. Soft dough and baked to perfection. The service is top notch as well. Everything they serve is beautifully baked and tastes amazing. This is definitely my go to spot!

I recently visited Golden Donut Shop, and I'm thrilled to share my positive experience. The donuts were absolutely amazing ? fresh, fluffy, and a true delight. The apple fritters stood out as the best in Houma, offering a perfect balance of crispiness and softness. What impressed me equally was their outstanding customer service. The staff went above and beyond, ensuring my daughter had her favorite apple juice. We've found our go-to donut spot, and Golden Donut Shop will always be our first choice in town.
I had to wait in line in a small town. There is a reason. The donuts and other goods are super! My boudin Kolache was a home run.
We like the donuts. Softer than Ronnie's, and They don't mangle them when they box them. We like the croissants. I always get a bacon egg and cheese. I started stopping here instead of Burger King. It's like a dollar cheaper, it's larger, there's more inside, and it doesn't look like someone chewed it up and spat it into the wrapper. The biscuits need some work though, in my opinion. I don't know what these are, but they're not any biscuits I'm aware of. I've never seen a biscuit with a texture like this,
The service is great The staff is very kind and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good, the donuts are okay. They aren't bad they just taste a bit off, might be the kind of dough they're using. The donuts aren't bad they just taste a bit odd I would recommend going elsewhere for donuts but all their other items are pretty good.
I love the staff they are extremely friendly and very helpful. I'm not a huge fan of their donuts. I don't know if it's the dough just seems a bit off, but their other options that are pretty great. When I ate meat, the kolache was the best thing on the menu.
This is my favorite breakfast stop in Houma. I recommend the Sausage egg and cheese croissant. If you have a sweet tooth, and diabetes isn?t your concern, the Apple fritter is fantastic. Good price and fast service. You won?t be disappointed.
I definitely prefer the donuts here than Mr. Ronnie?s. While they don?t offer the hot glazed (which I don?t get- Mr Ronnies rocks those), the fillings and the donut itself is fresher and tastier. The service is very good too! There is a minimal wait and everyone there is smiling at Golden Donut. I don?t go often, but will choose them when I do!
Always fresh, always with a smile. The kolaches here are out of this world. Apple fritters, chocolate eclair, breakfast biscuits and breakfast burritos are all made daily and are fantastic. My favorite thing about this place...The continue the old tradition of throwing a few donut holes in with your dozen of warm glaze donuts.
In my opinion, the donuts taste like Krispy Cream but better.
Hands down the best donuts in Houma!! I know there is another place claiming to be famous and the best but give this place a try and you'll love that the donuts are light and fluffy. P.S. they don't taste like a bite of grease
This place is finally getting recognized,it's about time the Eastside has donuts not just any donuts the BEST in Houma. They also make this boudain wrapped in a pistolette...and it is too die for. Sorry Mr.Ronnie's don't have NOTHING on them!!!! Great place to get breakfast that is cheap and delicious....

I never knew there was a donut shop on the Eastside of Houma until yesterday. My daughter brought me some donut holes and they were absolutely delicious!!! I can?t wait for y?all to open in the morning lol

Excellent customer service. I asked for a specific donut that they were out of, so he went to the back and had someone make it within minutes! We will definitely be back!

The only thing that would make it better is bring back maple icing and the fill the jelly more like they used to.
