Their donuts are fresh, tasty, and decent size. I dont eat donut often, more like a special sweet treat for me. (They are good but not everyday treat) Donut selection is pretty standard but always in good quality. The service is also very friendly.
Very nice people work here. I ordered a breakfast croissant, it was huge and came out very quickly. Went out to my car and it was brought out to me, which was sweet, reasonably priced as well.
Not only do they have great donuts (and even cronuts!) along with a variety caffeinated beverages, all at fair prices, they offer the best service, owned by the most wonderful family. It?s a literal treat to stop in at this establishment.
Delicious fresh doughnuts ???? The doughnuts are very fluffy and savory. They have a great selection of doughnuts to choose from. From local doughnuts, this place has the best doughnuts! The owners were super friendly. Definitely will be returning.
Stop in for a breakfast sandwiches ( I love the ham, egg & cheese) & get a variety of donuts for later (the cake donuts and apple fritters are delicious). This is a family owned business ran but a lovely couple.
This is an amazing donut shop! The donuts are delicious and the lady behind the counter was awesome not just with us and our little one (first ever donut for her) but with other customers as well. Highly recommend this place!
I love it here, it?s wonderful, my daughter and I go often when i?m on my way for work, right when they open. It?s amazing, the staff are kind, the service is fast, the food is amazing, and it?s my daughter?s favorite place for breakfast.
They will heat your cinnamon roll. They have indoor seating. The food is good, the women who run it are pleasant. I'll be back again.
Excellent donut shop! Huge selection of freshly made both regular and fancy (jelly filled, bear claws, etc) donuts. Also many coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches available. We usually go here once/month for breakfast for the family and have never been disappointed! Plenty of parking right in front, easy to get to from I-80 and then hop right back on the freeway.
Door dashed a donut and a muffin. Went to put the muffin on my son?s high chair table and noticed the white mold on the blueberry. Not sure how that goes unnoticed and or how long said muffins sit in a glass box growing mold. Cmon man!

The donuts are some of the best I have ever had. This place is a hidden gem. I like to try different places when I travel. We found this on the first day of our trip and went back every day because they were sooo good. We tried a variety of donuts and other things, all were excellent.
Donuts are smaller than they should be. I don?t like being cheated so you can make more profit. Make profit by being the best. Americans been eating donuts all our lives. We know what they should look like. Be better to your customers
I recently visited Golden Donuts in Citrus Heights and was blown away by the delicious glazed donuts and the exceptional service provided by Mike. The donuts were incredibly fresh and soft, with just the right amount of sweetness from the glaze. They were hands down the best glazed donuts I've had in a long time! The donuts are good, but what really shines is how friendly the owner/cashier is (he even put some donut holes in for free!). Their plain icing is basically the traditional (plain powdered sugar), which some people may not like. They've got some unique pastries that other donut shops wouldn't have, including bacon-topped ones. As I said, it's a good little place, so it was worth at least checking it out if you're on that side of town.
Friendly, family-run business in Citrus Heights. My favorite place for a maple bacon bar (think pancakes with bacon.) Take home some croissants for sandwiches later, they freeze very well. Get there early for best selection.
I have many broken teeth so always try to eat soft things and they had the softest donuts I have ever had in my 30 years on this earth. I got a whip cream filled maple bar and will definitely be regularly going back for more. I've had donuts that were literally just made that weren't nearly as soft as they are here. Their donut holes are super dank, almost melt in your mouth they are so soft. I highly highly recommend. The couple that now own it are also extremely friendly. I never leave a tip anywhere but
I was greeted as soon as I walked in and they were very friendly. They suggested a breakfast sandwich so I got the sausage one with jalapenos and it was very delicious. A good size too! I highly recommend and will be going back! The kids love the donuts!
The old fashioned donuts were so good! The man behind the counter was super nice. He was waiting for a delivery so he was open late. They have a ton of breakfast stuff so I bet you can get really good selections early in the day. He said they have coffee, smoothies, muffins, croissants, and more.
This shop has gone through three owners and each have kept the original recipes and added their own. I have lived in four states and have not found another like it. I have fond memories of walking there as a child with my grandmother, and taking my kids there as a treat before school. A true diamond in the rough, and a cultural staple for Citrus Heights. ??
The owner is really friendly and the donuts are delicious. She did not have her hours posted so I asked her and she said she's open at 4am but there is a limited selection of donuts. At 5:30am is when all the goodies are out. She said she is usually there until 2pm but sometimes she stays until 5pm. The maple bars and croissants are my favorite!
Best donuts in town! The owner/baker is nice to talk to and her ham and cheese melts melt in your mouth. Very clean and comfortable. Don't forget to say hello and leave half a donut for the ( Prince )!!!!
There hot sandwiches are so good. And they have created some really unique ways to make different types of donuts and you can also call in your order and go pick it up when it's ready.
The donuts are so fresh and delicious! I go every Saturday morning... And the shop is so clean and inviting. Love the customer service because they are so kind and friendly.
The owner is only ever nice when she wants you to buy something. Otherwise she is rude and insulting, including towards her employees and anyone else. The place is barely even kept clean up front, meanwhile the back room where all the donuts are made is an absolute mess. There is old frying oil everywhere, icing is caked into the drying racks, and the donuts are kept in the open, inches away from dirty countertops that have even had raw fish on. If you can go to another donut shop, I strongly suggest it.
The bacon lunch croissant sandwich was VERY delicious! You need to try it. Very happy that something so close was so good.

Walking inside was like a time trip. It smells like a donut shop. I bought an apple fritter, and it actually tasted of apple. Clean and neat store with smiling, friendly people.

The best donuts in this area. They have wonderful flavor and dont have that horrible greasy mouth feel afterwards. I love their stuffed croissants. Turkey and cheese or the strawberries and cream cheese. The pastry is so flakey.

Not bad very small place but also very friendly service. I went a little later in the morning around 1030 and was very little left to chose from. They were very tasty though. I will be trying again earlier to see if the options are better
