I stop here almost every morning for a Boston creme filled donut. The people are wonderful and I appreciate them so much. They really show their appreciation to their customers as well. Not your typical donut shop. They would even open early on Fridays to accommodate some of us who start earlier on Friday. Who does that? The people at the golden donut do. I highly recommend this business to everyone. May God continue to bless them as they have blessed me.
So happy to see a local institution still making the same delicious donuts and baked goods as they did in my childhood. Cash only, be sure to grab some extra donut holes and coffee!
Love this place. Donuts. Nothing fancy. But they are made in the store and baked fresh. Great people. Croissants and jalape?o ham and cheese are my favorites. Bagels. Breakfast sandwiches. Diner coffee.
Ordered 8 dozen donuts to bring to school and they had to be COVID-safe (aka individually packaged). They had them ready to go, all individually wrapped with napkins in every package, before 7a. I spoke with the nicest gentleman who was so helpful and kind with the order. Pricing was very reasonable! It was also my first time writing a check in a long time ????
When in to get a bear claw donut. And they only make crumb bear claw donuts. They were very rude to me and they said we do things differently that's how we make our donuts. I was just trying to tell him he should have a little bit more variety. Donuts were good Bad customer service.
Best donuts in town, I?ve been coming here since I was a little kid and the same family owns and operates it. Not as many varieties of coffee as you?ll find at some of the other mom and pop donut shops, but still solid. Nice people.
My first experience was lackluster. Both donuts I had were dry, at 10 am on a Sunday. One of the donuts my g.f. had, a cruller, she gagged on and spit it up. Which further ruined my already sub par eating experience. The pricing is also slightly more than most donut stores. The employees aren't particularly nice either. The donuts were soooooooooo good! They are so fluffy! I had the ham and cheese roll and it was really good. The staff is so helpful and friendly!

Average donuts and kind of expensive. The white cake is really good. Kruellers are not very good, tasted like egg with pink powdered sugar on it. The chocolate cake donuts are mediocre. I don't know about the other donuts.
The donuts here are slightly more expensive than your regular shop but the freshness simply is more than worth it. I personally love the Buttermilks here. Crunchy exterior with a soft and fluffy interior.
Do not be thrown off by the name. Golden Donuts has solid donuts, nothing to overwhelm you. It is a cash only donut shop located in a small strip mall in La Canada. Decor is pretty basic. You definitely won't confuse this with a gourmet donut shop.

I absolutely love this place. The people are always friendly. In addition, they have my order memorized and get it ready when they see me coming so all I have to do is pay. I recommend this donut shop to everyone.
