Okay so I am 6'8 and 350 lb so when I say I know good donuts, I know what I'm talking about. Decent donuts, Good service. I can't go here very often because I can't walk out with just one donut because my big fat rear end loves donuts... I tried to explain that to my doctor and he just shook his head at me.

They have been here for a long time and this is my 1st time visiting. Very nice staff. I got a glazed croissant and it was good, but the glaze leaves a film on the roof of my mouth and I'm not a fan of that. The pig in a blanket is delicious. My first time trying a Kolache and it was delicious! They have the most amazingly soft dough hugging an interior sausage, cooked to perfection. The donuts were the perfect chaser. A sweet treat to this passing tourist. I'm glad our AirBNB host suggested this place! My only regret is stuffing them down so fast I neglected a picture of their beauty!

Amazing doughnuts made here! Crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside with just the right amount of sweet frosting.

This is a great doughnut shop. They claim that most of their doughnuts are made without eggs or dairy, so Vegans and Vegetarians, you are in luck! The only drawback is that they don't sell boxes of coffee; you can only get cups here. Really clean location and the staff was super-super helpful! I called on my way to work and ordered four dozen doughnuts ??. I got there 10-15 minutes later and I was in and out in nothing flat. I was super impressed!

Still new to the area. Went in wanting some good donuts and they had almost nothing. It was before 10am and they had almost nothing left. Nothing else coming out either. Goatstar has the freshest donuts in the area. So soft and great flavor. Great friendly staff and shop is kept very clean. One of our favorites is the Bowtie as pictured, but you can't go wrong with any of them. This box shown has 3 of the huge booties and a chocolate frosted.

Went at 3:15 p.m. on a Saturday, and they still had plenty of selection. Donuts are always so delicious, too!

I?m a baker by trade. Retired. I?m always looking for a good doughnut shop, and to my surprise I found one at Goatstar Doughnuts. It?s hard to find a good Apple Fritter, but by golly this is one of the best ones I?ve had in a long time. So glad I stumbled across this place. If you got a hankering for some great doughnuts then get over to Goatsar.

Good donuts, I get charged different price for the same donuts all the time. It's like they just make up prices depending on their mood. Two donuts, apple bear claw and maple braid cost me 5.25 today. I didn't even think about it till after I left and when I checked their website prices, it should have only cost me 3.50. Well, good reason why I don't need donuts, at least not from there.

Pretty sure these guys scammed my credit card info. 30 minutes after buying donuts here I got an unauthorized credit card not present authorization and had to cancel my card. The donut purchase is not on my statement either.

First time eating donuts here, I came here because they are the only ones who have a maple bacon bar which is great! However none of their donuts seem to have any flavor to them, they are just extremely bland even the maple bacon bar which is crazy to me. I don?t think it?s worth the money.

The place's donuts are absolutely INCREDIBLE. I ordered a bunch of simple, round raised/glazed donuts with the hole in the middle. Here's what I found - they totally gave me that amazingly smooth, soft vibe that you get from Krispy Kreme donuts - only with those, they are pathetically small and a horrible value for the money - heck, you can eat one in literally 2 bites. I walked in just before closing time, so most of their selection was sold out. I ordered 4 of what they had left, and the very nice woman behind the counter gave me a few extra plus a couple glazed donuts, free of charge! They were probably going to have to throw them out anyway, but they still didn't have to do that... other restaurants would rather throw out perfectly good food than give anything away. A very pleasant surprise!

Highly recommend. Their donuts are so good.... I just advise going in the morning/ early afternoon to have a large selection. They're sold out closer to closing, and that's a good problem to have :)

From out of state. We stopped at the Starbucks next door and saw the shop?had to try it. The most tender and delicious donuts we?ve had in a long time. Great selection, fair priced, and so so so good! Raised glazed was amazing. Apple fritter was crammed with apples and cinnamon. Devils food was flavorful and tender. All wins!

I wish I could give 0 stars for service. We had never been in before and we asked if we just pick a small box or a large box, the response we got was a rude and irritated "Yea" So we just winged it and picked what we wanted from the very very scarce choices. As we were paying we were asked if we wanted a bag and we said yes, the employee gets a bag out and just throws it at the box in front of us and says "Thanks for coming in" We bagged out items ourselves and left.

I love having donuts on the weekend and this is the best place to go! I have missed having a donut shop in the years since we had one. Goatstar is fantastic! The donuts are light and fluffy like clouds! The frosting is not too over-the-top sweet either. Their customer service is excellent and they are practicing safe social distancing too. I tell everyone that this is THE place to go for donuts!!

We have been coming here for a couple of years and the donuts have been ordinary but not bad. The last two times we have been in the donuts are old and awful tasting. I have been here around 6 times I usually arrive by 6am I do not think the donuts taste good, to much sugar glaze I would like the option to have a berry filled donut without all the glaze. Some of the donuts were not put out and when I ask for the the older lady acted like a big deal to get me 2,from the back. My family thinks the donuts taste dry.

I get donuts almost weekly for my work & fellow employees. I came in to get donuts this Sunday around 11:30, and was appalled by the rude service I received by the staff member that helped me. She is one I've never met or seen before, and was so rude and would not accept my full punch card for a dozen donuts. Normally on week mornings my service is great and donuts are wonderful and fresh. However today that was not the case. I will not be returning on my weekends with my family if that employee is there.

Went for the first time & their donuts exceeded mt family's expectations. They're fresh, light, & fluffy & their donut holes melt in your mouth, so good. Went a 2nd time & they were just as amazing, also their konaches cheese & jalape?o are super good. Hope they stick around for a long time, best donuts we've ever had.

Cute shop, lots of variety. I didn't really like the doughnuts they tasted a little stale and left a weird texture in my mouth, not great flavor.

As they are open from 5:30 AM to 6 PM it would be nice if they had more than just your basic types of donuts left at 11 AM. If you?re constantly running out of your specialty offerings, make more. And keep making larger batches until eventually you have some that don?t sell. #1 that keeps customers happy and #2 it maximizes your profitability. Just saying.

First time here. Got a dozen & most of the donuts tasted like they were at least a day or 2 old. For a Saturday I should have had really fresh donuts. I'd rather drive to Pastry Perfection & get fresh donuts. Not worth the $15 I paid.

If you want donuts, call ahead. Don?t be like me thinking they close at 4 so noon is a safe bet for donuts. We went there and it wasn?t even 1pm. They close at 4pm. Good social distancing practices. Good donuts. The counter worker (young gal) was efficient at her job, but showed no friendly customer interaction. A little smile now and then goes a long way. I realize I was a new customer, but the place was empty on a Monday morning.

DELICIOUS! Doughnuts were fluffy, fresh, super tasty and the coffee was great. Better them most coffee shops in Nampa/Caldwell. My co workers were ecstatic I brought a dozen fresh warm doughnuts in. I will recommend goat star in Caldwell to anyone I know. The staff was very nice to me around 8:15 am, and that?s why I?ll return. Best donuts out there! If you have never tried GOATSTAR you are missing out, these donuts are so light and not as sweet.

We purchased an apple fritter and a Danish. The apple fritter was flat like a piece of compressed cake and had no fragments of apple in it. I know it was around quitting time and most of the condiments were gone. But it was nowhere near what I expected in an apple fritter, no apple at all. The Danish was stale with crumble cheese in it. Both items were not fresh. If I go again I will revisit this review and see if I feel the same way. It's only fair.

The food here is great. My problem, is every time I order kolaches 2 end up with jalape?os inside. It's always the same guy the messes up the order. I'm not sure if they different styles are close in glass case but there must be a way to separate regular kolaches from the jalape?os kolaches.

Went to Goatstar for the first time Saturday morning. Felt exactly like DK Donuts. Great donuts; I really enjoyed the maple bacon bar. The place was pretty busy and the line moved quickly. Staff was pleasant.

The donuts were not very tasty. Really bland,and tasted like day old donuts. Plus pretty pricy compared to other donut shops. The donuts were dry,and hard the next day inside the closed box. We won't be back. Not very many options either. WINCO is even better.

Was craving a good, hearty, donut from a true bakery. They hit the spot right on. I had a maple bacon bar and red velvet cake. Never knew they where here in Caldwell til I googled it. I would recommend anyone to try them out.

My companion & I drove in from the Ontario area hoping for a great experience but it was anything but that. The place was empty but everything, especially the floors were filthy! The cashier finally emerged took the order with out so much as a smile and than left again. We took the donuts home and all but one were STALE. It was a waste of $$ & time. No return trip for us.

We drove 20 minutes in excitement to get a few apple fritters (my all time favorite doughnut). I walked in and I was delighted by the assortment of doughnuts, so much so I decided to get a dozen doughnuts. I had to get at least 3 apple fritters though. HORRIBLE PLACE!! Do not eat here !! Customer service was horrible, went in this morning to get a doughnut, employees were handling money and then touching the doughnuts with out putting on a new glove or washing their hands. Went in on a Saturday afternoon, doughnuts were not fresh, the case was mostly empty. We were given the wrong doughnut, ordered a chocolate bar and recieved a maple bar. The milk in the case was expired and when we told the worker, they did not even remove it from the case. The milk that we did get that was not expired was not cold & was spoiled. Our kids liked their cake doughnuts, but that was the only success.
