Glazed & Confused

I had heard these were amazing donuts, but I was never able to make it before they close. I was finally able to get there early a few days ago! It?s a small and colorful shop where I had options to choose from ??. Prices were very reasonable!

I did it! I went during restaurant week when they had a six for ten special and got a box to share with my coworkers. Ask you can see in the pictures, the presentations of the doughnuts is artful and witty. The taste is superb. My coworkers love peanut butter so I got three nutty buddies, and the Oreo one was quite gluttonous of my part. I absolutely loved the cinnamon roll doughnut because the cream cheese was so filling. Starting in 2021, I started to become somewhat of a regular here. The woman at the counter, Lisa, was such a pleasure to start my morning with. Drove all the way from Ithaca to get donuts from this place! They had AMPLE options, freshly made. They had tons of cinnamon based options and other similar donuts. Staff was ultra patient with my indecisiveness, she offers to heat them up since I like warm sweets. These are the best donuts in the Syracuse area! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their maple frosted donut is my favorite, but there are lots of other choices too! This family owned and operated shop is a gem in Central Square!!

Really cute little shop that sells exactly what you?d think - super cute donuts! Variety is always very good. Donuts are SWEET!!! If you like an understated sourdough donut dusted with sugar this is NOT THE PLACE. If you want a mini cake with peanut, frosting and delights come on down. They do have some ?plainer? donuts but they are all very dense and cakey. I?d definitely recommend this place to a friend - more of a ?dessert? donut place. Try the buckeye!

Date of visit: Sat Aug 19 We stopped into Glazed & confused donuts on a road trip that took us through Syracuse. This cute little shop is located in the downtown core and is a very vibrant and fun shop. The d?cor is a retro 50s style with lots of sputnik lamps, and space design. They have a lot of fun and unique flavours. We got cereal, Nutella, and a few other fun flavours. They offer a number hot & cold beverages. The donuts were very tasty and fresh. The servers were very friendly, engaging and patient.

What a great little spot! Our first time here, and we?ll definitely be back. The donuts are delicious, I enjoyed that they weren?t overly sweet and the size is perfect. So happy we were finally able to stop in!

Paul gave all the employees off for Juneteenth , but was happy and friendly the second I walked in the shop today. There was not the smallest inkling of a guy who was bummed out because he was manning the shop alone all day. Super happy face, incredible service, and I'd walk in there to Talk to the guy anytime. We absolutely love Paul and the Glazed Crew! They helped cater our dessert table for our wedding in 2018 and did an incredible job; our guests loved the donuts! Their delicious donuts and positive vibes always make our weekends a little brighter. Fill-it-Fridays are fun to look forward to - the cannoli stuffed donut is our absolute favorite. But we love trying all their creations! Glazed is a must-try if you?re near the Syracuse area! And if not, make the trip!

We try to go out this way semi-frequently. We've never had a flavor we didn't like and the base donut is literally mouth-watering by itself. We've managed to go to a couple of fill-it Fridays and the donuts have always been absolutely smashingly good. The kids and my husband and I are huge fans! We devour these donuts with delight every time we get them!

This donut shop has excellent donuts and a very friendly staff working there. We live in Rochester and had to visit a relative in Syracuse at St. Joseph's hospital, we brought them the sweet treats and they loved them. We will go back when we are in the area .

Great local donut spot with fun & fancy choices. I personally prefer yeast donuts and most of the ones here are cake. Some special edition ones result in long lines. I would like to see a more streamlined online ordering process. I have to HT for the kid designed business concept, so no lost star for those weaknesses.

Maybe I should have ordered a hot donut vs. getting the ones that's been sitting in the window. I got the Oreo & fruity pebbles. Being pregnant there's not many options. I wanted to treat myself but wasn't satisfied with the donut texture. Dry an stale. Wouldn't recommend anything sitting in the window. The woman decorating the donuts without proper food safety gloves was off-putting as well. Front counter girl was sweet. Good customer service on her end.

Staff was so friendly and the location is fun on the inside. There was even outdoor seating! There are a few delicious flavors. The donuts are okay but seemed a little soggy or not fresh. Can be difficult to park.

It was so convinient to order from Grubhub and they delivered it right on time. You may have to order a day ahead because they are usually closed after 1p.m. People have happily waited for hours in the line to get their Donuts. I ordered a dozen of confused donuts. It's superb.

I was in Syracuse for work today and I was told I needed to try this place out. They have a great, fun little shop. The selection was plentiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They are a little pricey given the size of the donuts, but they look and taste so delicious. Definitely worth it. Brought home a dozen for the family and they love them. Will be stopping again on my next trip through town.

While on my trip to Syracuse my family found this cool looking doughnut shop the vibe was very funky and fun loved all the decor!! ?? We got 1 of every single donut and they were all delicious, our favorites were The Buckeye, Cereal Killer, and The Elvis such fun flavors that tasted amazing also the price was pretty good $20 for a dozen assorted doughnuts <3 Then we saw the T-shirts and HAD to go back and buy them!!

Good donuts, but all seem based on the same "fried cake" donut. The donut itself seemed identical to the ones you've seen come off the typical automated machine that drops the batter in the oil, auto flips them half way down, then ejects them into cinnamon or sugar. They do excel at using a lot of creativity for their toppings. PB&J, Canoli, frutti pebbles, etc. The New Year's Champaign donut was very tasty. $2 to $3 per donut is a little to much for these.

I came across Glazed after following a bunch of local Syracuse small business on Instagram, and Glazed seemed to be one of the beloved small businesses around town. We came in from out of town and stopped by after ice skating in Clinton Square. The doughnuts were amazing and my favorite one was the Oreo with cream filling in the middle of the doughnut. My family and I bought a box of of all different doughnuts and sampled each one. I highly recommend coming by here and trying a doughnut or two.

Expect to park a block or more away and a line when you get there if it?s a weekend morning but the staff moves people through the line quickly. The doughnuts are incredibly delicious, they are always fresh and still warm when you get them, the flavors and combinations they have come up with are out of this world good. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy a delicious treat.

Cute little shop. I love how they have fresh donuts waiting to put in your box instead of taking them from the showcase. They have certain flavors to choose from, which are all delicious. I got a variety and loved every donut I ate. The cost is between 20-25 dollars for an assorted dozen. Worth every penny. A must try shop!

The place is small and cramped reminding me of those unique off beat places which in this case just happens to be downtown syracise. The premium donuts are not cheap but not ridiculously expensive either. 20 for a dozen at most 8 premium is worth the price as they are unique and tasty. The donuts here are excellent! There is a wide variety between their classics and their more gourmet specialty donuts. This time I just stick with the classics. They are very dense, which makes them more filling than a regular donut. The only problem is, they are a little pricey, but they are worth it.

I can't say they were bad donuts by any means. The flavor was good, they were just a lot more dense than most donuts I've had. They were also much smaller than most donuts. If it weren't for the toppings, they would be a 3 bite donut...

Words cannot describe the sugar-induced bliss these donuts can give you. The Snickers donut will put you into a delicious, diabetic coma and the Dizzy Pig is bacony goodness atop a baked treat. The Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go sandwich is ridiculously filling and was perfect. 10/10, will gladly become diabetic by eating too many of these donuts.

The guy behind the counter was incredibly patient, helpful, and friendly. They had vegan donuts (only on Wednesdays and Saturdays), which was a pleasant surprise, and they were absolutely delicious. The carnival donut frosting tasted like Dunkaroos, if anyone remembers those. And the selection as a whole was really awesome.

The donuts are delicious but the service is horrendous. Don?t expect to get what you see in the display. I paid $14 for 6 donuts. When I opened the box, it was a hot mess. The donuts I got looked NOTHING like the donuts I ordered. They were delicious but I would NEVER serve them to guests. They were sloppy and ugly. I was really disappointed and will not go back.

It is a small building, but that doesn't matter at all. They had 12 different types of fresh doughnuts to order. And are completely ready for you to order one of each... they even have plastic knives ready... so you can cut and share. The doughnuts are so light and fluffy; and pack a powerful flavor. I have wanted to stop here forever. Their presentation and marketing get 5 stars, everything was amazing from the look of the donuts to the storefront to the food truck, everything matched and meshed together we'll. Good music, good coffee. For the price of the donuts, they were small, and I did not find them to be extraordinary. They were good donuts, but for the price and the size I expected to be wowed. I would definitely choose them over Dunkin or gas stations any day!

I like how fun the atmosphere here is and the high level of creativity that goes into all the different varieties of donuts. But the toppings are very sweet and can be overwhelming to eat a whole donut. Wish they had a bit more sugary sweet to fried dough balance.
