Apple fritters are bigger than my hand! We drive 40 minutes to come here and would drive even farther to be honest. The staff is always so nice too!

It's the best donut shop around. We just tried donuts while traveling. Glaze King has made us realize what good donuts are Our favorite the apple fritter. Or the chocolate old fashioned Maple old fashioned. I've tried others but we will always get these. Family owned, small business. Bring cash for small orders and we drop a tip.

They have many different flavors/ options. The server was really nice and i didn't feel rushed to make a decision on what to get. An all around great first time visit. I'll definitely be back.

Used to enjoy Glaze King. Drove by and was disgusted to see cages of cats right on the sidewalk in front of the store. Not a very appetizing or healthy situation. Maybe the Board of Health should inspect the place ????????

This is a great place to go! We picked up some donuts for a party! They were very quick for our order. The only thing was parking is very tight.

Definitely must try you won?t be disappointed! I was amazed how crispy and moist the donut are. I had to pick up four on a road trip and it still kept its moisture for a couple of days, they must have a master pastry Chef because it?s cook to perfection !

This little donut shop made my day! The gal there was so kind and helpful. They had a good variety of homemade donuts. Yeast and cake. We got the (yeast) original glazed, sugar, cinnamon sugar, strawberry glazed, (cake) devils food cake, they had other pastries too! Bear claws, cinnamon rolls, etc?.I got the pineapple cheese danish roll and it was amazing!!!! 10/10! This place is a gem. They sell out daily. Go get em.

Took the kids here for their donuts, and was surprised that they still offer donuts for $11.99 a dozen. While this seemed cheap, we quickly found out this price only included regular donuts with no cream. Cream filled donuts are $19.99 a dozen or almost $2 each. Might have tried the cream filled if the donuts were fancy or something, but these were just plain looking donuts that clearly didn't look like they were worth $2 each. I stop in here every time I am in Asheboro. My co-workers love the donuts. The staff is efficient and pleasant. While the storefront isn't fancy, it is a nice, clean donut shop!

The glazed or, "raised" donuts, as they're named here, are an unbelievable bite of heaven; light and fluffy and will melt in your mouth! The Bavarian cream is my husband's favorite and is worth the calories. Amazing Yeast donuts! Make sure u try the Maple long John with buttercream filling. I go here weekly for a splurge. Everything I have had from here is fresh as fresh can be. The only complaint I have is the round filled donuts could use more consistency in the filling.

Finally went after wanting to for ages and it's worth the hype and price. Only negative is things will run out quickly so if you want something go as soon as possible. We got 6 doughts and our favorite ended up being the maple one.

I am new to the area and I stopped by today. I got a doughnut, something with a hotdog and jalapenos it it, and a cinnamon roll. They were very good. I highly recommend this place to anyone. The lady was very nice and helpful. I will be coming back!

These donuts are dangerous. The owners know what they're doing and serve the best of the best! Most delicious fritter I've had in a loooong time. A really, really long time. Prices are average, but quality is high! Donuts are generous in size and yet still soft and have that perfect texture you want with your donut. Coffee here is so, so... but I'd drink a gallon of it and be happy as long it came with these tasty treasures. ??

This is the absolute best place for doughnuts in Asheboro! Forget about the big chain doughnut stores, their doughnuts can't compete with Glaze King Donuts. Huge doughnuts that are perfectly made fresh every day. If you go, make sure you don't get there too late, they do tend to run out of doughnuts before closing and have to close the store early.

I am visiting from Raeford and happened to see this place on the map. The Doughnuts here are AMAZING!!! I'm originally from California and I had a favorite doughnut place there but we moved to NC 12 years ago and I have been searching everywhere for something similar to my experience in CA. I love visiting locally owned bakeries I found this beyond lack luster. Empty cases hardly anything available. Looked like they were getting rid of day old pastries due a sign posting stated tomorrow they were closed,( sunday) I was eager to try this place the online photos looked amazing. This is the best donut shop in North Carolina! Everything is delicious and reminds me of donuts on the west coast in California. In my opinion these beat Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts hands down!!! Got there at 6. Was supposed to be open until 8 but there were maybe 20 donuts in the entire store. No filled donuts. No regular glazed donuts. Not sure what she was going to sell for 2 hours. What we did have was just ok. Doubt we return.

Only went once and wasn?t impressed. The taste was good but the donuts I got didn?t taste fresh. The were hard hours after I got them. The lady working behind the counter wasn?t very friendly or welcoming either. I asked questions and that seemed to annoy her. Maybe she was having a bad day but she def didn?t seem happy to be working. As much as I love donuts, this isn?t a place I would try again due to the poor 1st experience I had.

This is by far the best donut you can get in Asheboro. The classic raise puts Dunkin and Krispy Kreme to shame. They have a wide variety of donuts as well. Like the buttermilk, and cake donuts of various flavors. The chocolate chip bars are also delicious. They also carry a smorgasbord of other pastries. If you get a chance, this place is a must stop.
