I have been a customer since 2007. Gilroy Doughnut House has always been the best, and recently they have even eclipsed themselves, somehow making their doughnuts better. That?s impressive?improving an already excellent product. I hope they keep making doughnuts for a hundred years. Thanks so much!
My family loves this palace, Jeffery is always a pleasure and talks to every guest about there day and is always at 100% the donut selection is in point, and it sells out fast - plus they have blueberry old fashioned and pumpkin spice donuts!

Decent selection of doughnuts here and very tasty ??. They only take cash here not sure why so it could be an inconvenience for most. But still super good! And yes I took a bite already lol
The place is small and seems to be hangout for locals. We're on road trip and I had hankering for a donut. Glad I stumbled upon this place. They have good variety of donuts. They are not pretentious nor trying the latest fad like mochi donuts. They did have something I had not seen and find it BRILLIANT, filled bars. We got Bavarian cream filled maple and chocolate bars. So delicious. Donut was light. Glaze not thick but tasty. So good. Definitely a gem in city of Gilroy.
We LOVE Gilroy donut house! Their donuts are big and light and there?s always a good selection when we go in the mornings. It?s very 80?s and they only accept cash but it?s part of their charm!
The donuts were what you?d expect from Asian-run donut joints: light, fluffy, the chocolate glaze and lemon jelly tasted like they came premade in a can. That said, they?re delicious! I?d come back just for the delightful proprietor (Jeffrey?) and the friendly locals, and the standard-issue donuts are a bonus. Skip the coffee (which was burnt).
The kids love the donuts and friendly staff. The only problem is they only take cash. If they start taking debit cards, then I will give them five stars.
BEST DONUTS! I have been going to the Gilroy Donut House for years. Bring a box to work and share with your co-workers, they'll LOVE them! No other donuts compare. Try 'em and see for yourself. You'll be happy you did! ??
The best donuts around! I love lemon filled donuts and GDH has the very best. Most bakeries barely fill it a tablespoon of filling, so it is way more dough than filling. GDH has close to 3 times the amount and it is the perfect ratio of dough to jelly. Their donuts are light and fluffy and so tasty. I would have taken a picture, but it is already gone. Next time.
Old school donut shop with decent size donuts!
Only takes cash so they miss out on our business most of the time. The donuts are...okay. They're often over-fried or overbaked and some of their icings are sickingly sweet. They're not amazing, especially since you're paying close to $10 a dozen. Having said that, the people that work there are the reason customers keep going back. They are so great. They know their regulars and they are always looking to make everyone a regular. That kind of treatment isn't seen so often. It's something I really appreciat
Cash only is extremely inconvenient. We?re entering 2025 and I?m surprised they are still a cash only establishment.
Amazing donuts that aren't just pretty but also really yummy. Fillings are great and so is the bread. Definitely looking forward to getting the Bavarian and the cinnamon twist again.
Gilroy Donuts exceeded my expectations in every category. Their customer service was as good as their donuts are. I highly recommend getting a dozen of their donut holes. Soft and fresh with a very tasteful, melt in your mouth glaze to them!!

It is a family owned and run business. They are good people and their donuts are awesome. I love their old fashion donuts but my kids go for the glazed or cinnamon twists.

To my knowledge, best donuts in town. It is a cash only shop. It does feel very dirty in there like it hasn't been cleaned since Joe Montana won a Superbowl with the '9ners.
Gilroy Donut House has the best donuts in town. Nothing like having warm donuts on a Saturday morning. This establishment is family owned and the employees are a pleasure to purchase from.

When driving through Gilroy on Hwy 101 I go out of my way to stop at this donut shop. Very fresh and tasty. Prices are good value. Friendly, courteous service.

The donuts are tasty, but they don't make enough to last past a few hours in the morning. If you're not there at the crack of dawn, you'll have to settle for anything that's left instead of your donut of choice.
Recently went to this doughnut shop and was surprised at how yummy the donuts were. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend this shop. 5 star rating!!!

Love buying the sweets from this establishment....they have the best doughnuts and the best service... the young gentleman who works there, is so helpful and very polite....i go there from Hollister.... jst to get there doughnuts...will keep giving them my business..... always satisfied....
