I had an excellent breakfast passing thru on a working vacation, it was fast service, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, very competitive pricing and the outside seating with the frosting on a cake. Thank you to all the staff, servers, cooks and owners for giving me a great experience for breakfast. Highly recommend and will return in the future. 5 stars ??

Just wanted to say how awesome Brittany, Alexa, and Alecia are at Gerald?s Donuts in Arabi! They?re always so sweet, super helpful, and just really fun to chat with. I just left the Gerald's in Arabi location and the FOOD and SERVICE was FANTASTIC!!!! The managers name is Eddie and WOWWWW....does he LOVE his TEAM. Used to love this place but we were here today and the place was dirty, the waitresses were shouting at each other and loudly cutting up with some guy who was supposed to bring them food. They didn't put our order in, and we waited 45 min and got nothing. Finally asked them to keep it down, and the waitresses went in the kitchen and started LOUDLY talking trash about us, so we left. Not coming back. Too bad - used to be a great place, but they need some management help.

Yo why is it everytime, year after year, the employees know nothing about basic customer service. No greetings, no smiles, not a care in the world your sitting there patiently waiting to order and they just stare at you when they walk by, cant say "hi will be with you in a minute" untill 20 minutes later. And it aint even that busy

The place was pretty much empty and we waited 3 hours 7 plates. Not to mention you get charged 3.25 for a small pack of ranch dressing. SMH. Take my advice and don't do it.

Great food, friendly staff, open all night, and just a stone?s throw from Jackson Barracks. This place is the best! I?ve been coming here for years. Try the most flavorful burgers in New Orleans or the best donuts around. Their omelettes are great too!

Stopped here to pick up a friends gender reveal king cake which I didn?t know anyone did. Ended up getting a small one for myself just to try and it was pretty good. Definitely made fresh and icing was good. They have different sizes and flavors they ranged from 22 to 5 for the small One I got. I have had their breakfast a few times and it is good and so are the burgers!

I went in on June 3rd and ordered some mini burgers and Hotshots. Allegedly the cook had quit, and the manager was on the grill. I don?t think anything of it because I always eat here while at work. The service SUCKS. I have been coming to Gerald's for 13 years now and never had to pay for my food before it was done. I want to sit down and eat. My waiter Brittany M very unprofessional. She told two lies. The first she made me pay because people was running out with the food. The second line she told was she was leaving. We randomly stopped by bc the kids wanted something sweet. We had never been before and asked the girl to give us a dozen of her favorite doughnuts. Even at 5pm the doughnuts were soft and so good. She was super sweet and if we find ourselves back that we we will stop again.

Gwen was my server and she was excellent. She even made me tartar sauce for my shrimp. My food was very salty, but it was hot and fresh. There could have been some ambiance with music rather than vanilla with none. I would recommend just for the service. Well done.

The drive-thru should be for pickup and donut orders only! You literally get stuck behind someone who's ordering food and waiting for it to get done. It's so annoying. There should also be one person that's only doing drive-thru. Not taking orders from counter customers while drive-thru waits 5 minutes to even be greeted. It's so annoying.

The evening crew is terrible one of the worst service I ever had, there?s this one young girl who works there she has braids and white nails. Excellent little diner! The food is tasty and the customer service is superb! They have a good variety of donuts and they are always fresh. Their pancakes are so good, and their bacon is perfectly crisp. The waitresses that have helped us every time we go to Gerald's are very sweet and helpful. They did get our order a bit wrong once, but it was no big deal and an easy fix. They're amazing. I highly recommend the spicy burger.

My family loves Gerald's. However, the location in Chalmette has some serious quality control issues. Every time we go, the donuts are never the same size. Majority of the time they're extremely tiny. Sometimes they're normal size, but it's rare. The Arabi location does not have this problem.

Used to go to Gerald's all the time when I lived in St Bernard parish. I was just passing through after visiting my brother and just had to stop by to get a few donuts and get my fix for the Krystal burgers they make. We were just visiting town and they chatted us up, shared with us all the best food places in town and couldn?t be more enthusiastic about sharing the best dishes at Gerald?s. And the food was great! the atmosphere too. Felt like a spot with real history. Beautiful outdoor eating area, counter, and regular indoor seating. Serving all kinds of food at all hours. We will be back during this trip.

Customer service is always great but the kitchen cooks wasn't good at all. I ordered an egg with omelet with cheese and grilled chicken. The chicken was spoil and wasn't cooked completely. And to top it off I had to pay for something I don't eat. I will not order food from there again.

I've loved this place at least 10 years now and I also love when the "Hot Glaze until Noon Everyday" is available. I caught the early #8 bus from French quarter. Gerald's was the turnaround, and every driver grabbed coffee & donuts (high praise). Packed with national guard for bkfst (more). I would go here for donuts only. We waited 20 minutes for a bacon cheese burger. When a vehicle was behind us, we were told to get out of line and go back through the drive through!!! We decided to sit outside, since we was a big family they handed the menu and told us you have to come back in to order your food. Which one of us had to write down the order to bring it to them. Basically doing there job and then when the drinks came in it was to go drinks when we specifically said we was dining in. Bad experience all together.

They produce a really scrumptious egg and cheese biscuit. The coffee is excellent too. Friendly servers. The pancakes are huge , like way too much for one person so you might want to split those between two people
