BEST DONUTS. EVER. FULL STOP. Great value, staff is insanely friendly. You can call and place an order for the next day pick-up, even if it's just a single donut. Great value for the money. The donuts are HUGE. I won't even bother eating donuts from anywhere else. Their glazed croissants are beyond delicious.

This is the first time I have been to George's & I will DEFINITELY go back. The donuts are SO good & the staff are all very friendly. They had pictures with Santa today so it was pretty packed but so worth it. The donuts are nice & fluffy, not overpoweringly sweet and they're a decent size donut!

I wanted to give a 5 star cause the donuts are good. But the reason I gave 3 star, is I live an hour away. I have taken now 4 Saturdays to drive to georges donuts to get a dozen in 3 months. Everytime I get in the door, there is always someone buying an excessive amount of donuts. (About 10 dozen at once if not more)Due to this the selection is very limited to anyone else behind them. Great locally owned custom donut shop that has super reasonable prices for the quality of donut. We arrived late and our toddler was bummed to see no sprinkle donuts so they even "made one up" from an existing sugar donut to make her day. What a treat!

Fantastic doughnuts- huge, fluffy without tasting yeasty and not greasy. Opened during covid19 and doing a nice job feeding the world. I recommend the black raspberry filled sugar donut.

I declare this this place stupendous. Texture was nice and light while also being not overly sweet. We arrived at 730 on a SAT and there was still great variety. Cinnamon stick and banana cream were my fav but the traditional sprinkle got devoured by the kiddos. All in all, we will be back too many times. Cheers George!!!

Best apple fritter I've ever eaten, which also freezes well. Love that these donuts are not overwhelmingly sweet and no-nonsense. Wish the frosting on top of the filled donuts was colored to be indicative of the flavor- we sometimes couldn't tell which was which.

Something has changed and George?s donuts are no longer all they used to be. The doughy part of the donuts seem to be pretty much the same as years ago but some of the glazes and fillings are different, and not for the better. Chocolate frosting and fillings in particular have gone downhill and are not as good as they were. The classic chocolate frosted ones were our go-to variety, so we visit less often. It?s still good but it?s gone from 4.5 to 3 on our scale. Please change things back. Staff are friendly

I was looking for a traditional apple fritter, not just a apple filled donut. George's Donuts makes the perfect Apple Fritter! The fritter is very large, it has great flavor, and it even has bits of apple in every bite!

Today was my first time going in there, the young lady at the counter was very knowledgeable and friendly she offered me a glazed donut sample which was amazing. I took one glazed on it and one strawberry filled donut they were delicious I will definitely make the trip over there again!

Amazingly tasty donuts and apparently I'm not the only one who thinks so....the line was crazy! Picked up a dozen for the family and everyone commented how fresh and tasty they were.

When you first walk in it smells like heaven. The donuts are awesome. I won't buy donuts from anywhere else. From the Glazed to the Custard filled are amazing. I also heard the apple fritters are awesome as well!

Donuts were good. Not excellent, but good. We ordered a black raspberry donut ,but unfortunately there was no filling in the donut at all. It was just a plain donut with vanilla icing. Now the down side to this donut shop is the pricing. 20$ for a dozen of donuts is alittle out of my price range, not to compare to a 12$ box that are better quality from a donut shop 20 miles north east. I know all donuts are not the same ,but I was looking for something special since these donuts are priced the way they are.

Cases nice and full of fresh donuts,smells incredible. Pricey but after having a few donuts I realized they were worth every penny. Fresh, not doughy and full of jelly in every bite. My go to spot for donuts.

Best Donuts. They're under new ownership, which had me concerned about quality, but there was no need to worry! If anything, things have improved as they now have a greater variety of pastries and donuts, and they make an extra batch, so you can stroll in after 8 am and still get out with a dozen donuts in a dozen different flavors. My wife loves their Jelly donuts, which they have in at least 5 different fruit flavors. My kids always want rainbow sprinkles. And I want those glazed croissants. So. Good. Oh

Nice little donut shop. Prices are a little higher than DD, but definitely tasty donuts. Service was quick and friendly. Parking lot had plenty of room. It can be hard to pull out of the parking lot if you're going south on 91 because of the multiple lanes, but it's not impossible. Just have to wait and use the middle lane. I'll definitely buy some more donuts from here in the future.

My parents have always loved these donuts, I grew up with them and never knew how spoiled i was. I?ve been all over the US and have had fancy donuts, crazy styles, tried other beloved spots, but nowhere compares to george?s donuts.

George?s is simply the best. They recently changed ownership, and somehow got even better than they were. I always prefer to support local businesses when I can, and George?s makes it easy by also being the best donut shop anywhere in the area. Great product, good value, pleasant atmosphere, and a friendly staff. A local treasure!

I brought donuts from here to a meeting I was attending. I wanted to impress the people I was meeting with. The others attendees already had bought Duncan donuts. When they saw the donuts I brought, the Duncan donuts were forgotten. They LOVED the donuts I brought. They were a huge success. Thanks George!!!

Did something change recently? George's Donuts no longer have the 'crunch' to the shell that set them apart. They still taste nice enough, but it was the crunch that made them special. I'm leaving my score a 5 for now and hoping they can address the problem; but there's truthfully nothing exceptional about these donuts without that crunch!

First time here. Tried the day before but by 10 in the morning they were sold out of donuts. After getting there earlier I know why. Had a creme filled and a cinnamon stick. They were amazing. I wished I lived closer because they would probably be my go to donut shop.

One word. Phenomenal. This is not your fast food donut joint with a drive thru. The donuts from George's are what I would call gourmet. They slightly bigger than your traditional donuts. They are light and taste absolutely like heaven. With quality comes a cost, a dozen will run around $15. But definitely worth it! Also, if you want to select from the variety that they have to offer, come early. By 10am, their inventory is pretty much spent.

Simply the best donuts in town. Flavors aren't the most creative, but there is no way to beat their Maple Cream or simple glazed donuts. DO NOTE: While they open at around 4:30am, they do not typically have their full stock of donuts until around 6-6:30am. If you want to pick up any later than 7am or so, call the night before and place your order then. Otherwise if you are looking for a dozen, you may be at the mercy of whatever hasn't been sold yet!

This place has the most amazing donuts I have ever stuffed into my face. The consistency of the donuts are perfect; they aren't squishy yet they aren't too firm. Also, the donuts are not greasy like other donut shops. You will want to get here early in the day if you plan on getting a dozen or more.

I got there at 11 am and there seemed to be a good variety of donuts there, so I'm not sure about the good ones you have to get there early for. Service was prompt and courteous and prices are reasonable; $1 for one and $10 for a dozen. The donuts are slightly bigger than you would get from the chain donuts shops.

While visiting Solon, we were tipped off to this great little donut shop just a bit out of the way. We didn?t make it in time for the opening-time rush, but there were still more than enough varieties for us to ponder. My favorite turned out to be the ?plain? glazed donut, which is fluffy on the inside, but cake-y and crisp at the edges (and most importantly, generously portioned :) ). We?ll definitely have to swing by again (maybe a little earlier) next time we?re in the area!

Fresh fried cakes are delicate with a light crunch. Cinnamon sticks are obscenely delicious. Get there early... people line up and walk out with 2 -3 dozen. Selection varies after 8. But, hey... they are that good.

Best donuts in 600 miles

I am always a little cautious about restaurants with carpet. I feel like the carpet is only slightly greasier than their donuts. I will say that they look gorgeous and the frosting is so enticing, but they are undercooked and soggy with grease. Not a big fan, thought that they bought the old George's recipes with the store, but I think they only bought the name and location. I will be making the trip to the new George's Aurora location from now on.

Have been going to George's Donuts for years, always loved their products but their counter help...particularly the older brunette is enough to make me never go back. She obviously hates her job and is straight up rude to the customers. I realize help is hard to find,but she should not be working with the public. I have no respect for anyone who talks down to the elderly and veterans.

Didn't live up to hype or price - dough wasn't airy or flavorful enough. Considering I'm used to paying 95 cents per donut at Lakewood's Donut for better donuts, for $1.80 these are just ok donuts.

We are in N. Royalton Ohio. Someone brought these donuts to us. They are the best donuts ever. I have sampled alot of donuts. These by far are hands down the best! They are thick, soft, fluffy, sweet and delicious! I highly recommend. Wish I was closer, so I may enjoy them more often!!

The owners are amazing! This was my first visit to this location. The server was very patient as I video chatted with my wife (she is currently in a local hospital) and she carefully selected 13 scrumptious donuts. They never grew impatient or rushed her. Super service and awesome attitude!!!

The fresh doughnuts are quite awesome,The early morning service...not so much. They open at 4:00 AM. I go there at 5:15AM. The donut selection was sparse. Only the top two shelves of several large display cases contained a limited variety of the spinkly,cake type and bear claw type. The counter person said that the rest of the selections come out around 6:00AM. Wait,what??

Donuts were bigger than most and the consistency was very fluffy. But, the apple had very little filling and cream filled were too sweet, other than that, no exciting varieties. They do not compare to Baker's Pride Bakery in Savanah, Georgia. ....if you are in that area, you will see what donuts are all about!

A coworker brought in George's Donuts this morning and I have to say, they were probably the best donuts I have ever had. You could taste they were fresh, had a perfect crust on the outside but were tender and soft on the inside. I'll be keeping these guys on my favorites list. <3

Under new ownersship...and they better step it up! Not as good as Original owners...and l even ask if they were the same recipe. (I don't think so) I use to work in Twinsburg for years use to stopped in on my way to work at lest once a week. Best donuts in the area. I tried going several times near the close time and they were never open... Turns out they sell out almost everyday and close early! And for good reason. Always a great to pick up a big white box from George's.

Purchased 3 dozen of donuts, the donuts are good but I would love more glaze on the glazed donuts since they are larger in size. The cream filled are good! I would visit again if I am in the area.

Told me 10 minutes, 15 minutes to be safe for the donuts I wanted, so I said I would wait. After 35 minutes, they tell me it will be a while. Tired of them running out hours before closing. Don't plan on going back. Drove further away to Raised and Glazed, where I can count on them being open and having what I want.

Unfair! It's not right. When you make donuts and other baked goods this delicious, there must be something wrong. Just be careful. We only get them when visitors come from out of town, otherwise we'd be 350lbs (irony with a gym next door). My advice -- go EARLY. Selection runs out. Or just order ahead (call ahead).

Great donuts but limited quantities due to the volume of people and the shops last minute efforts to replenish. They wait till almost all donuts are out before they bring anymore out. Waiting in line your not sure if u will get any or not
