Gary & Leo's Fresh Foods - Havre MT

I had purchased some blueberry muffins that were made by the grocery store. I found a dead cockroach in one. Check it in to show them. And they refuse to replace it or refund it. We're very rude, and it's just unbelievable that it's supermarket would act in that manner. I would never buy anything from them again. I don't recommend going there. They are obviously not up to date on their cleanliness

Most expensive place to buy anything unless it?s on sale? if it?s on sale you can guarantee they don?t have it in stock. Nope they will not do rain check?s anymore. Can?t wait to see what the buy out brings.

I just got to the donut case undecided, and the man who worked in the bakery waited on me and was very rude. If my parents didn't like their donuts, I would have just left.

Typically have good experiences here but I just went for some last minute shopping to get some beverages and candy for my birthday and when I went to check out I was denied my purchase of alcohol because I had a minor with me but the lady was being very rude and disrespectful with me when I had asked her since when, since I have gotten beer with my groceries before and my son was present. IGA has the best produce in town. By far. Their Fried Chicken is also juicy and mouth-watering. They have an amazing wine and beer selection. I also got my wedding cake done there. It was gorgeous. The colors matched perfectly. It was extremely affordable, $119. Also! I was looking for rose petals for my flower girl, and spoke with someone in the floral department, she had a dozen roses that she was going to pull off the rack, and sold the pedals to me for $1! Walked out with out a purchase. Sweet potatoes $3.99 lb. Wow. And they're in season for the Holidays.. it's just too expensive. I love the people that work there, it's clean, and service is dependably good. But the prices are too high for us. We're on a family budget.

It?s a normal grocery store but a lot of produce was going bad and moldy.

Fantastic experience! My first time in Montana and I needed cupcakes for a celebration for an office. The bakery here was awesome and the customer service to order 48 customized cupcakes was perfect. Thank you all for taking care of my purple sparkle cupcake needs ??????

Great grocery store...but first a story. I went to this location for coffee on the way to work every day for 20 years with a male co-worker. After about 15 years he tells me, "you know they think we're a couple, right?" Sure enough, the very next time we went, a cashier waved at us and said, "Hey, guys." He definitely thought we were a couple. My point, it's kinda funny and they always treated us well, so if you're looking for LBGQ friendly this is it. They were a little surprised when my partner showed up

The products weren't bad but we stopped in here on our way back to Canada. I found the prices almost the same as back home but then add in the exchange and it wasn't worth shopping here. We'll check on it next trip if things change.

Brenda the assistant manager is so awesome my mother was down on her luck and had no money for cat food or cat litter and not only did Brenda help my mother out with those items free of charge for her but she also offered clothes and shoes what a amazing place this Iga is for employing such amazing people as Brenda wow she was a absolute rockstar. Great deli! Best chicken in town! Yum! Prices are a little high because of lack of competition on some items, but overall very satisfied. Love the community involvement and the owner is very nice! Also great flower selection!!!

I have stopped here a lot of times while doing trips to Montana. It is a handy place to stock up on groceries and snacks. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. You can actually get groceries carried out for you if you like. They also have a reasonable selection of beer too. Prices are competitive for the area.

Locally owned. Nicely curated beer and wine selection. They still offer old-school amenities like free pharmacy delivery and carrying groceries out to your car. Good customer service, and will often stock specialty items by customer request.

A surprisingly nice grocery store. Not the largest selection in the world, but quality of products is always good. Their wine selection is their best feature, being positively huge and boasting wines you've never even heard of.

Awesome meat market with get this...Real Butchers !! Large variety of meats. Some seasoned. In-store ground beef, sausage. And most importantly, dog bones. aka. Marrow bones. Staff is friendly, prices are about average, in-line with everyone else mostly. Higher here. Lower there...

I love Gary & Leo's IGA!!! I do almost all of my shopping here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are always willing to help you find what you are looking for. Whenever I have special requests for items they do the best they can to try and get the item in the store. The prices are better on some items than our other competitor in town. They are renovating the new deli area and I can't wait to see what they have in store when it's all done.

By far one of the most up kept IGA stores I have been in. And the manager john, amazing individual. I had the pleasure of doing the HVAC test and balance on the building. Their prices are great and low compared to other IGA stores. That I don't yet understand. Top notch service!

We stopped to pick up camping supplies and were amazed by the selection and customer service. The young man who helped us with our groceries was very nice. If we're ever in northern Montana again, we will be sure to stop.

Other than the occasional rude, impolite, and depressing cashier, great store. Prices are definitely over marked. If you feel the same why I do about buying everything from walmart you spend a little more to keep the money local.

Iga has some of the best cuts of meat. Wonderful bakery. Awesome produce dept. The only problem ive ever had was a cashier named Jim who never fails to be rude to me. Not only me but my grandmother and other people I know. It would be the perfect experience if Jim would stop being rude. So for him in taking a star off.

Cleaned up in the Huckleberry and local wine Dept. (Bot our 6 bottle allotment). Staff was also helpful trying to find the Huckleberry beer too. At checkout they got us a nice box to transport our bounty.

Went there for just 3 things for a Potluck. 1st item was a layered Bean Dip in the Produce Department but All of them was 2 days past their Sell-By-Dates, the 2nd item was a vegetable tray which All of them were nearly a week past their sell-by-dates & 3rd Item was going to be Desert from the Bakery but I chose not to look at and left the store with nothing. I went to the other Grocery Store in town.

Always clean and well-stocked with wide aisles. The employees are friendly and helpful. Gary & Leo's IGA has been my go-to grocery store since I first moved to Havre 15 years ago.

Jeezus' favorite loudmouthed SOB is preaching a revival in the parking lot EVERY TIME I went here. The prices on ALL foods are obnoxiously elevated. This place survives solely on the spite of people that don't wanna shop for food at Wally world.

I've been going here since the before time you know before ratings of businesses mattered, well its a small town grocery store with an amazing stock of beer and wine. Meats from local area and decent quality, the people are quite friendly known some of them my whole life. I'd rate higher but the prices are crazy, but then again your paying for quality and convince rather then walmart where its quantity over quality. Either way stop here first and help the locals out Wal-Mart has billions to prop up any loss

This grocery store is a good place to shop, they have good sales but just like the IGA stores in and around Billings their prices are too high on a lot of their items. It's a convenience if I'm going here for a few items but otherwise I will shop at Walmart for my grocery items.

I asked an employee where the pregnancy tests were and was insulted. He then decided to announce it as loudly as possible to everyone around. So ladies watch out for rude judgmental employees who know absolutely nothing about your personal business

This store has an amazing selection of beer, pretty good produce, and amazingly friendly checkers. You may spend a bit more money than the global conglomerate on the other end of town, but you?ll get in and out quicker and the experience is much better.

I called this store to see if they could get any diet Bundaberg ginger beer because when I did an on-line search for this item this store came up as the nearest to me. ( 6.5 hours drive one-way) I have been looking for it everywhere and it doesn't ship to Canada from Australia so this looked like my best option. It's okay in there, costumer service is great. Only store in town that does quite a few vegan commodities (vegan variations of cheese, milk, cream cheese, luxury items). Although it's not the cheapest store in town.

Fantastic cubed steak. Actually pounded so you could cut it with a fork when it was cooked. Bakery version of Muddy Buddies is to die for!!! Friendly staff.

I would much rather go to Gary & Leo's than the Wal-Mart. The staff is more experienced and still believes in customer service. The prices are a bit higher, but I do not have to put up with everybody wanting to pet my service dog .

We went in iga at 10:00 April. 29, 2020 and my daughter bought some things at the deli and on her way out a worker stopped her and her boyfriend accusing them of stealing. They showed him the receipt and he didn't even extend an apology or anything. I'd like to add that we are brown people

This grocery store has the best customer service in town! I moved from Colorado and noticed there were different brands, more locally made food items at this store.

Fried chicken and special sushi price on Wednesday. Take advantage of it. Sushi according to my sons were delicious.

Love the service here and the fact they deliver 2 days a week. The pharmacy delivers meds as well.

This is a great store to buy local Montana produce and products like Safflower Oil from The OIL Barn and Kracklin' Kamut from Big Sandy Organics.

"Your home town proud Gary and Leo's IGA." This supermarket is running out of cash, mostly from Havre getting Walmart and a Kmart. The prices are higher then Walmart, and you can't buy video games there (if you are looking for a better place in Havre, try Walmart or Kmart). The (2) only good things are the location (as I live out in the country, and the way into town leads directly to IGA), and the staff (also helps when your friends with all of them).

Not a bad experience but I found it odd that since my family went to the store all together we were all carded because my brother bought some beer

Always loved it, for not just selection and staff but sentimental value. It's been there since I was young and always feels nice to go back.
