G & S Donuts

Locally owned donut shops are the best. Owners and great people and they make fantastic donuts and breakfast sandwiches. The original glazed donut is the best in town. It's big and got some weight to it, but that doesn't keep it from being soft and fluffy. It's a darn near perfect donut. Swing by and give them a shot one morning.

Walked in around 920am and got a bacon egg and cheese croissant and donut holes. Everything was great! donut holes were not too doughy or dense, they were perfect! Service was quick and still had a lot of donuts available!

We got 1 original twist, 2 original glazed, 1 chocolate sprinkled donut, and 1 sausage kolache, which amounted to $11. Best donut I have ever had. Fluffy and thick, not too sweet, and fairly priced. We went at 9:45 AM and it was about halfway sold out of donuts. Very sweet ladies working there. We will come back! Get there early!

G&S is a local family owned donut shop. Arguably the best donuts anywhere in Montgomery. Large, yeast donuts and delicious jelly filled donuts. They also have breakfast tacos, biscuits, and kolaches. You are doing yourself a disservice if you haven't tried them. That said if you don't get there early you will be lucky to get donuts, let alone your favorite kind. You can order ahead for large orders.

This was my first time purchasing on my own, I consumed twice before as a gift. Great, fast & friendly service! Amazing taste & breakfast pricing, will be back

First timer, donuts was nice size & taste good. The only issue was drive-thru only so wasn't able to actually see all the Donuts just had to use the menu from outside wall. But they're worth a try.

Changed their hours abit recently to now serve lunch!!! One of the only reliable places in montgomery with apple fritters!! All of the stagf is bomb and just knows what to do so no wait time usually. Very very patient with new people and very very very very good food, donut items and etc. I added some photos of the new schedule as they are just way too cool for folks not to know when they open. Also if they dont have any customers, THEY HAVE ME!!!!??

Great food served hot, amazing donuts (they lay the glaze on thick), great prices (lower than chain places). Great place to stop for breakfast on your way out of town.

Best doughnuts in Montgomery, better get there early though, they sell out fast. The lobby opens at 7:00 again, and it has been expanded.

Ok, so let's get skraight to it. These are hands down the best donuts I've ever had. It's like biting into a dream. The best way I can describe it. The lightness of it is "sensational" with the perfect amount of glaze. It's not overly sweet like most donuts out there either. I can't see myself eating any other donut again. Krispy who?! I know y'all made these with love. Spectacular give me 14 of them right now.

Donuts are good but they kind of nickle and dime the consumer with their card policy. $5 minimum plus a .50 charge. Otherwise the donuts are good and service is great.

Great tasting Donut, especially if you prefer a thicker more cake battered Donut.... I've only tried the powdered and glazed flavor.. Be ready to get up early and arrive when they open, because they really do go fast.... I arrived 15min after opening in hopes of ordering 1 dozen powdered donuts -- only 8 remained..... FYI -- if the elderly lady is helping you and you're looking for a more friendly person, she's not the one lol -- don't worry it's not you....

I bought three donuts. The blueberry, glazed, and Chocolate cake donut. The first two were good, but the chocolate cake donut straight up tasted like nail polish. I only took one bite out of it then had to throw it away. Beware.

My first time going to this donut shop and it was a great experience. I had two little young ones with me and the lady let us k in the fun ones she had that they chose! Then I asked her for reference on which donut is more cake like and she offered two options. She was very friendly and very personable. Donuts were so pleasant to eat.

Fantastic as always! Get there early before the kolaches run out! The prices and taste are so much better than competitors, so you can get a lot of great donuts and pastries at a good price! Just be aware $5 minimum on card and drive thru only

I like coming to this place, but it will be a while before I go back. I ordered two donuts and apple juice. When I got to work and started drinking my apple juice, it had a funny taste to it. To my surprise, the AJ expired in August of this year. It will be a while before I go back to this place. And the elderly lady needs to smile and be a little friendly.

This little hole in the wall has many doughnuts and other treats that are so fresh, they were made the morning you go get them, they are delicious, but as with everything else the early bird gets the worm. Make sure you go early bc the sell out fast, I mean by 8:30 it's slim picking. The prices are great too very cheap and well priced!!

Always great and fresh donuts and will always be my first choice! Their customer service is just as good as their donuts. I asked if they gave military discount and they gave me something better?.I was given a box of free assorted donuts, which came in handy because I was gifting my daughter?s daycare boxes of donuts that day! This place is so good, and the owner is so sweet. There are closer donut shops by my home; however, I make thr drive because of the quality, customer service, and also the drive-thru convenience. You have to get there early though. I came mid-morning around 10am one day, and they were already sold out of most flavors that I wanted. The breakfast croissant was pretty good too. I dont even buy donuts from the national chain donut shops anymore. You wont regret it. Their original glazed and holes are everythin

Got the half dozen assorted and breakfast tacos. All the donuts were fantastic, my favorite was the apple fritter...close 2nd was original glazed. Also had breakfast taco and it was hot and delicious. Will be back...probably too much....

These are my favorite donuts by far!!, taste is great, even just the classic and glazed ones. Price is fair, I wish they would close little later.

The service was so rude, that old lady needs to learn manners or get fired The old lady that was at the drive thru was so rude, she put in the wrong order and wouldn?t even let us check it and when we were asking her to tell us what she had (because she overcharged us) she started getting mad saying she doesn?t have time (even though there was no other customers) She closed the window and left all while giving us attitude. I went at a later time and just got the classics. The sugar glazed,chocolate glaze,powder all delicious as one should expect. They are moist fluffy and balanced in sweetness. I hate Krispy Creme its overly processed covered in diabetes. Theres are REAL donuts and taste sp fresh even at the time I purchased them.

Found this place through Google reviews while staying near by for the weekend. Overall I rate it as a nice stop but far from a "must". Kalachi's were fair, pretty bland but the dough was good. Cake donuts were disappointing, the blueberry was the best, other varieties were very doughy like they had not been baked long enough. Apple fritter on the other hand was very dry like it had sat out too long (we went at 8am) The regular glazed were the best choice by far. Absolutely no complaints on them.

Best doughnuts in the city, hands down. Fresh original ingredients, nothing processed. Nothing old or stale. Does usually run out of Donuts around 10 or 11:30 so be ready! The owners are amazing people and provide phenomenal customer service.

Other than the fact that you can only drive through, this donut shop has the best donuts in Montgomery that I have found. I don't like Krispy Kreme. And Dunkin is just okay. This place has the traditional mix of regular and fancy donuts, cake and glazed. Plus it has the croissant breakfast sandwiches. Coming from California where amazing donut shop are everywhere, this one makes me feel like a pice of home is here. Plus, the lady that man's the drive-thru is very friendly.

The donuts are good and fresh. The problem is that they often run out way before closing time and then you have traveled across town for nothing. Can you please get enough donuts to last until closing time so that the man behind the counter will have something to sell and not just stand there!!! I almost rated you only 2 or 3 stars because you have no donuts so often.

I work at a restaurant near by and I come here pretty often. There breakfast croissants and big and filling for a low price. And their donuts are awesome. Way better than any chain you've been to. They have longer hours and always great service! Love love love this place!

This morning was our 1st visit here. I found out that they don't offer any Military/Veteran Discount! Also, I found out that you have to arrive early in the morning to get any of the good doughnuts....otherwise you're out of luck, irregardless of the fact that it says they are open until 12pm! However, some of the doughnuts were Very tasty, & the lady was Very nice/professional! Not too sure if we'll be back though.

I dare you to find a better breakfast croissant for a better price anywhere in Montgomery, and the apple fritters are so good they will make you cry. Everything always tastes fresh, and they have loyal customers, which says a lot. Haven't tried the kolaches or biscuits, but I've heard they're good.

I don?t leave reviews, but this place was amazing. Can?t say enough about a one window drive through donut location and what they mean to our family ever week. Best donuts by far in all my travels.

Haven't personally tried it, but the atmosphere was great and the service when I called was excellent they were polite and kind. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

This place has pretty good donuts that remind me of those in Los Angeles (if you've had donuts in California, this would be a good place to try. Their quality is very near to those made in California that I can remember). Their hours are not long; they close pretty early especially if you're not in the Montgomery area, but the lady who runs the shop is very friendly and a pleasure to speak with whenever I visit.

Karen waited on me Friday morning and couldn't have been nicer. I ordered a basic dozen donuts and was very happy with their product. Looking forward to trying one of their breakfast sandwiches on another visit.

I don't look for too much in my typical donut shops. Locally-owned, cheap, and fresh are about my only criteria, and G&S make some tasty - if not ordinary - yeast and cake donuts. I can only vouch for the yeast versions, but when it's $6 a dozen, it's not hard to come up with an excuse to make a return visit.

Lady in front of me greedily bought 8 dozen boxes of doughnuts. They had none left after this and the lady at the window said we?re out go away. No thanks for you business or sorry we are out. This place is stupid and ghetto.

Owner looked at me like I didn?t belong there. I ordered A bacon egg cheese croissant , 1 glaze doughnut , and a OJ. She literally put one piece of the smallest bacon she had after she looked at me uninvitedly and then returned to the window to take my card. I politely decided then with a smile that I would never go back... guess all business is not good business ( Guy with the FedEx Uniform ??)

I am never going to G&S Donuts again. I ordered 3 mixed dozen boxes of donuts. Menu said they are $13.50/dozen = $40.50. Tax should be 10% = $4.05, total should have been $44.55. The lady stated $49.50. I thought that was wrong, but did not want to argue and gave her my credit card. When she gave back the card after giving me the donuts the receipt was for $50! I am never going to G&S Donuts again.

Best doughnuts in town. Kolache (Sausage hotdog and cheese wrapped in soft golden yeast roll) is so good. I like the one with jalape?os while my kids like the regular one. My husband loves the ham, egg and cheese croissant. Doughnut holes are a favorite of the whole family. Maple doughnut has bacon on it, lemon filled is amazing, the strawberry glazed is very good, and chocolate sprinkled is a kid pleaser.

This place has the best local donuts. They have decent breakfast sandwiches at a good price. They run out of donuts quickly so get there early. DO NOT BRING IN YOUR CELL PHONE, YOU WILL GET YELLED AT.

G & S Donuts' sausage,egg, and cheese croissant was delicious! I also enjoyed glazed donuts and twists! Great experience! I hope they are opened here for a long time.

Terrible, terrible customer service. I placed an order over the phone and i expressed to the young lady that it will take me twenty minutes to get there, she said that was fine and that she will place my order to the side. When i got there in exactly fifteen minutes they had sold my order. I was so upset. Not only were they out of donuts but i wasted valuable gas. First and last time going to this shop. Krispy kreme from now on .

Drove 30 miles to buy just one dozen and of course they are out.. it's 10:30 am, if you can't make enough to last until 12 when you close please shut the doors and do not open them back. I will not be back and I will spread the word for people not to waste the time or gas for such horrible service. Not a Krispy Kreme fan but atleast they have DOUGHNUTS and WILL make some if they run out....

Horrible service, went at 1135 to order 2 dozens and employees were visibly annoyed that I came in 25 mins before they closed. Donuts were stale, do not an hour from closing, you will get horrible service and old donuts
