Amazing! And friendly! Got 4 donuts (variety of cake and raised) and saw they had some breakfast wraps too. I asked if they had breakfast sandwiches and the woman helping me said no, but she could make me one. I asked what they had and she said 2 words that I didn?t know (I?m not from around here) which I now realize are ca?oila and linguica. I?m always excited to try something I?ve never had so I randomly picked the first one. She got out a full size roll and filled it with the most delicious marinated sh

I was excited when I walked in and saw they had apple turnovers so I bought one when I got home and tried eating it well it was all down hill from there. First bite all I got was the thickest dry dough then I realized I needed a knife. There was hardly in apples in it. It was all dough with a few pieces of apples. Couldn?t even eat it what a waste.

Friendly Donuts is amazing ?? ?? !! So fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly and quick. Welcoming atmosphere. Reminds me of a truck stop which it may be lol. Highly recommend the cream donut and chocolate sprinkled.

Every time I step foot inside it?s a very welcoming environment. The variety of pastries/food is incredible. Prices? Even better. The pastries are extremely delicious! Great doughnuts! Great service! The coffee I got was not as mixed up as I wanted, but what would I care!? It still tasted great! It all still tasted great! xD The texture of the doughnuts reminds me of the Colonial Doughnuts up in Taunton. That place closed down, but I lived pretty close to it, so it was a nice and easy place to get classic, homemade, and hand cut doughnuts. Those were always fantastic!

Kind of a throwback to the 70s with the look of the place (in a good way I think) Beautiful little cafe open 24 hours except for a little while on Sunday into monday. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and the place is often filled with elderly Portugese folks chatting and playing scratch tickets. It's a great atmosphere. A great place. Can't recommend it enough. Prices are amazingly low. You can get breakfast and coffee here for 1/2 the price of Dunkin. Get the Linguica Puff. You won't regret it.

The regular women who have been there for years are great kind and greet you respectfully but today I went to grab a coffee 9/5/24 it was a different female never seen her before .She made me feel very rushed .She didn't seem happy no smile, no good morning, anything else anything else .She was clearly unhappy and her vibe sucked ....

It's reminiscent of a zoo that all the animals escaped from if you go after bar closing time. The food and service are phenomenal, though!

Open 24 hours a day except closed from Sunday 2pm to Monday at 10 pm. The freshest donuts around made continously right on site. Lots of other great goodies too.

This place has the best quality donuts! My first choice of stop when I wish to treat myself or loved ones with something sweet. Wholesome taste, freshness, variety, warm and friendly stuff makes this place more special and welcoming. Beware! Once you taste them, there is no going back to any other donut shop!

Coffee rolls are amazing staff is super friendly ! I?m usually in there for lunch break and I can?t believe how the elderly just cut you in line ! They have a pass with me if they worked all their life and retired but wow, if not that is just dead rude!

Great donuts, high prices! Be careful when using a card to pay here, they have the new machines that ask if you want to leave a tip and the smallest amount was 15% I got a dozen donuts and said yes to the tip and ended up paying like $15 it was crazy... Just select no tip and give a dollar in cash... I felt duped lol but they have a lot of food to choose from and lots of seating... A nice spot to go for donuts and pastries or even lunch since they have linguica sandwiches and stuff too!

Went today with my family for the first time! We tried going to another nearby donut shop, but that one was WAY to busy, so we ended up going to friendly donuts! Great decision we made, decent service and food and coffee was good! We all got coffee's, bacon egg and cheese wraps and frosted Bavarian donuts! The wraps were great, filled with real eggs and bacon, they were like little burritos! The Bavarian donuts were FILLED (and i mean filled) with Bavarian cream! Love friendly donuts! I feel like they are a hidden gem. Always great service. AMAZING donuts. Love their morning pastry and sandwich offerings. Nothing fancy, but what they do is so so so good. Incredibly reasonable prices. I go there about once a week to get iced coffee

The food was great, really but the worker got not only my order wrong but my friend's, she forgot my friend's husband's strawberry milk. We had to go back in and get everything fixed but she still got my friend's wrong again. We were watching her make it and my friend had to correct her twice. I promise none of the orders were hard. Just common breakfast sandwiches.

I went to Friendly Donuts while my laundry was washing at the 24 hr laundromat right next door. The young man working is SUCH a nice, helpful, well spoken and truly Friendly Man. You do not see this often anymore and I really needed it on this day. Keep that man working he is awesome!!! And no I do not know him personally lol

Im a travel nurse here from Florida I stopped by to waste time and get a cup of coffee.I asked one of the cashier's for an oiutletand she told me where it'd was.Then this little mean and hateful lady comes to me.U NOT SUPPOSE TO PLUG YOUR PHONE UP.Then she went to fuss with the beautiful lady with the black hair about it.I asked her what was the problem with me charging my phone?I am a paying customer.That LITTLE WITH ROLD ME TO SHUT UP AND GET OUT THE WORST PLACE WVER AND I WILL BE SURE TO REPORT THIS BERY

Awesome donuts, yummy sandwiches, hot coffee, and excellent service! Do yourself a favor and support a local, independent business instead of one of those big donut chains. It tastes better at Friendly Donuts anyway, so everybody wins if you go there. Oh, and they are open 24-hours, perfect for fishermen, taxi drivers, and post-party wind-downs.

Best sausage egg and cheese on a full size bagel. Egg wraps are yum. Been shopping in at all hours past couple years. Good coffee, fair prices. Not a commercial donut place.

Been looking for a new donut shop to fill the void Ma's Donuts left when they closed. Finally gave Friendly Donuts a shot this morning after reading the rave reviews, and was not disappointed! Got a Coffee Roll, Chocolate Covered, Honey Dipped, and Jelly and while they weren't as good as Ma's (let's be honest, those are some damn large shoes to fill!), they were close! Will definitely be returning!

They have everything and there open all night. There the only place I no of, other than at Feasts, that have Malasadas made fresh daily. The workers are always nice! The service can be a little slow but at no fault of there's. They should put a sign up saying if its a long order, they must go inside. Other than that there great!!

Best donuts I've had in New Bedford! Can't beat the freshness and the quality is tons better than other franchises. Prices are good and you get an extra half dozen free if you buy a dozen after 6pm

Dunkin Donuts ..Eat Your Heart Out ?? This place has the best American style donuts in the world.. Especially when they're warm. DEFINITELY worth a drive. It's not the prettiest looking place..so plan on taking them home.

I drive from Boston to get these donuts. Some of the best handmade donuts in NE bar none and they are a late night early morning spot that is worth checking out. Fresh Donuts are only made between 10pm and 6am. The French Crullers are the best I have ever had in my entire life and I bought a dozen the other night to bring home with me. They also make Malasadas which are Portuguese fried dough and the prices are nothing like the fancy gimmicky subpar donut shops

My wife and I visited Friendly Donuts for the first time. The quality was premium and donuts were quite fresh and boy they were too cheap. We got something like Boston creme called Ecler and an Oreo frosted donut that was too delicious.

Great, traditional doughnuts. Nothing too crazy but still enjoyable by all. I recommend for a single or for a small gathering with friends and pastries, as one does. I think they are open 24/7, but not positive.

The best donuts in town, great staff, it's open around the clock so if you have a craving late night this is the place for you. They make a great scrambled egg and ground linguica sandwich served in a Portuguese Pop, very good and filling but go early because they sell out quickly.

Best donuts they are so fresh and delicious, the cheese / pepperoni rolls, tthe strawberry or mango smoothie drink to die for, now the soups they are serving are excellent and they also have the best server wed overnight - Saturday overnight (her little sister is also amazing and makes the BEST BOXES) but no all the service there is wonderful.. The owners are great people !!

This bakery is a hidden gem! They have old fashion baked goods along with up to date baked goods! They also serve hot&cold food and hot&cold beverages! And the best part the baker bakes fresh goods every day!!

The place is old and cluttered nothing really new or interesting just another aging place in New Bedford that's way past it's prime and you have to watch out for the busy parking lot nobody knows how to drive but this place isn't getting any better though there isn't much choices here for fresh made donuts just the same junk food and old men farting aroind
