Fred's Coffee & Donuts

Loved this spot, quick and efficient service with a smile! We tried their original donuts and maple glazed with bacon donuts and both were delicious. Their cold brew and Americano beverages were fresh and as a bonus they offer almond and oat milk. Definitely worth the stop! Bonus: they are open early in the morning!

Got the maple bacon and the hot apple cider donut (not hot at all). Fred?s considers both these donuts to be specialty. Trust the hot apple cider is anything but specialty, special, or anything above basic. The donuts are too greasy for my taste. The location is lovely and you can sit outside with a view of the mountain. Big plus. Staff were not friendly at all.

Fantastic donuts! It?s been a while since I?ve been able to find a fresh fall donut competitor to The Cider Mill in Endicott NY. Very fresh and delicious donuts. Highly recommend the Hot Apple Cider and the Maple Glaze - but honestly all the varieties I tried were delicious. They have a drive through option and a window order option with a little outdoor seating area. Quick service once the order is taken. Everyone was super kind as well.

Cute roadside stand offering coffee drinks and assorted fresh donuts. A little pricey but delicious, and good service. There is a drive through in front and a walk up window in the back. We got 4 apple cider donuts and two maple bacon, as well as two cold brew coffees with oat milk.

Wonderful freshly made doughnuts! Best doughnuts I've had in my entire life. They were crunchy and really hot. I saw the guy dipping them in the frosting. Add in some hot Apple Cider or hot latte and you're set for the day. 10/10

Waking up in the mountains with Fred's Coffee & Donuts is SPECTACULAR!! The service was absolutely amazing (there was an issue with the online ordering but the staff MORE than made up for it) The lattes and donuts were perfect in the morning sun on our deck. Perfect Catskill morning.

Decided to stop by and didn?t regret it! Donuts is the entire menu, and they have some good options. Not one was disappointing, but must try the bacon & maple glazed! 9/10 The do not carry coors light- FYI. It?s a coffee and donut drive-thru.

First time stopping here today after many times up Visiting family. We are not donut eaters but got 2 apple cider donuts and we thought they were much better then any Dunkin? Donuts we ever had. The sign is nothing like Krispy Kreme sign no clue how you compare them. Don?t even spell so it?s the same. We will definitely stop for coffee again.

I ordered two glazed doughnuts and a medium nutella hot cocoa w an espresso shot in it. The doughnuts were very greasy and cold and left a greasy film inside my mouth. There was no glaze. It was a cold thick white icing smeared on top of the two doughnuts. The doughnuts are inedible. I was told they had just come out of the cooker. I live literally two minutes down the road so getting as cold as they did and the non glaze is no excuse. Even if they are normally served cold, that still doesn't excuse the o

Took a walk up the block to try Fred?s - we loved it! Closest thing to our grandpas donuts back home. The gents were friendly and kind, latte was good. Looking forward to our next visit.

Fred?s is a must visit every time I?m in Hunter. The donuts are great, coffee is warm, and staff is sweet.

Nothing special nothing bad with the donuts, but the fact that the prices are not clear or marked in any fashion makes this a very questionable experience. The chocolate was just a strange texture, it tasted fine but was stringy and sticky. Everything tastes more or less the same.

The donuts were delicious! Got 1/2 a dozen and 2 coffees. Everything was quickly served and so good. Plenty of parking, some seating on the porch in the back, with a great view!

Overall, really enjoyed Fred's. It's an unsuspecting location (legitimately a little hut off of Rte 23A). The drinks were really good (I've tried the chai latte and the Nutella latte), and the donuts were good, but not the best. The apple cider was hands down delicious, but the chocolate glazed somewhat congealed, making it really sticky and difficult to eat. I'd recommend checking it out, but recommend getting there early so you're not waiting in line too long!

the best apple cider donut, and i'm pretty into apple cider donuts. i grew up in between two apple orchards that both made them. crisp outside, soft inside, balanced sugar and cinnamon coating, and bonus points for perfect shape. can't wait to try their other kinds. coffee is also perfect.

I enjoy there donuts on certain days and the coffee is great but at times the donuts are old and when they come out the icing is left on top of the bag so sometimes you don?t even get icing on the donuts. Also I usually love the costumer service there, but there is one lady that is always in a bad mood no matter how nice you are to her, I would think being local and regular customer would brighten her mood. But for the price of the stuff the service is hit or miss and so are the donuts. But I will continue

Stopped in for a iced coffee and a few donuts. This place is awesome! There is some limited outdoor seating, but a great place to start the day. They even offer drive-thru as an option for those rainy days. Check this place out.

Worked with Kelly and Allison came one day before and a day after when we left from our stay at scribner's lodge the donuts here are so pure and delicious and homemade don't even get me started on the apple cider everything here was delicious make sure to ask for the watermelon cucumber recharge tea they were so hospitable here and friendly makes you not want to leave excellent customer service all the way around!

Fred?s donuts and coffee are excellent. All of the donuts flavors I?ve tried (cinnamon, chocolate, plain) were flawlessly executed. They are so tasty, so cute, the perfect texture, and the coffee hits the spot too. Thank you and we will definitely be back!

I hate to say but I wasn't the biggest fan, I would have loved this to be the new twin peaks with super fresh donuts you could see rolling off the machine and amazing pricing and great coffee, but it's not that, we ended up doing a half dozen because of the high price (12 dollars for 6 mini donuts with only glazing ) The staff was super nice and very patient, I wouldn't complain to them about pricing because it's out of there control but for reference, the original twin peak had it's specialty donuts for o

DELICIOUS! i?ve passed this a place number of times when we?ve been up in Tannersville, but it was an open. Finally stopped in and oh my I understand why there was a line outside now. We got 18 donuts for a 4th of July dinner treat. Cake donuts were small but extremely filling and delicious. Icing was even better. Staff at the window was a total character and upsold us on a recharge drink (we went with watermelon-cucumber-mint) after a friendly game of rock-paper-scissors. Charming and hilarious experience! Definitely recommend

Totally blown away by how amazing the coffee and donuts are here in such an underdeveloped town. I visited here for the first time from nyc and this place even beats the coffee/donuts there. Most importantly it was super cheap. The gentleman who served me was also very friendly.

Everyone here is so nice. They gave me a fresh dipped donut and tips on places to go in the area. They were in fact, so friendly that I came back again before I left and will be back in town from Brooklyn. :)

Rude customer service and HORRIBLE hot chocolate I think I they just pour powder in water and sell it for $3?.it wasnt even hot just lukewarm. I came around 4:30 and after I ordered a hot chocolate the guy slammed the window in my face & said ?thats it im done we?re not doing anymore? and I saw him turn away anyone who tried to pull up BEFORE their offical closing time
