Frazier's Bakery

Frazier's Bakery

Reviews Summary

Frazier's Bakery receives overwhelmingly positive feedback for its delicious baked goods (donuts, breads, pastries) and friendly service, with many praising the homemade quality and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast and lunch items like hash browns, biscuits & gravy, and burgers are frequently highlighted. However, some note inconsistent food quality, slow service, or reduced portions recently. The bakery section consistently earns higher marks than the restaurant side, with early visits recommended for best selection. While most reviews are 5-star, a few cite long wait times, staffing issues, or declining consistency under new ownership. Regulars adore the homey vibe and consider it worth traveling for, despite minor price increases.

So we called in to get breakfast. They took our order and my husband picked it up. Unfortunately half of our order wasn't in the bag. He returned to get the rest and the staff got extremely rude and basically called him a liar. They manger came out after the rude lady went and got him. The manager was nice enough to get them to give him the rest of the order. Keep in mind we spent 30 plus dollars plus the tip and the were extremely rude. Like what the heck guys. We have been there multiple times with no iss

I would not recommend this establishment. The lady behind the counter was anything but pleasant. She never once smiled. She just threw the donuts in the bag and they all fell all over each other messing up the ones with frosting. We bought lots of donuts and the ones I tried were not good. I asked for a blueberry fritter and she gave me an apple fritter. I usually get apple fritters from other places and this one was not good. My wife and I also tried an old fashion donuts and could not finish it.

Warm, dry, clean. Friendly service. Plenty of cheese on the sandwich and battered onion rings were hot. They graciously allowed me to sit for hours waiting for the bus and made sure I had enough coffee the whole time. This bakery is chock full of cookies, bread, and cakes. Art and decor give it a homey feel.

I heard they make the best doughnuts and pies, well I can say best doughnuts I?ve had in many many years. The restaurant itself is nothing special, but the baked goods look great, oh yes AMAZING doughnuts. It?ll be a must stop every time driving thru this town.

We sat down and had to wait 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Another 10 before we got our water. The lady that came in 8 min after us apparently was a local because she got her food way before us. The gravy tasted sour in the biscuits had no flavor. I even tried dowsing it with pepper to give it some flavor other than sour to no avail. Salt made it worse. So we went checked out and grabbed two Donuts to go and left it at that. This place is probably good for baked goods, but don't go in for th

Decided to try a new place for breakfast and was very very impressed! The French toast was a large thick fluffy piece of bread that seemed very fresh and it was very well cooked. The service was wonderful, the lady who helped me was super friendly and with there only being one cook in the kitchen it didn?t even take very long for my food to be ready. It was still nice and hot when I got home with it and I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast this morning. I definitely will be returning

An old Coquille business and keystone of the ?downtown? that still serves fresh, homemade donuts, made to order breakfasts and fresh coffee. It the kind of place where people linger and talk, and they actually bring the coffee refills out to you. Perfect!

Just say no. New owner. Not consistent food recently. Sometimes good, sometimes not depending on the chef that day. Denver omelette was good. Not happy servers. Breads are dense.

Had a great breakfast!! Biscuit & gravy were fresh and delicious! Biscuit was fresh and tender- gravy was homemade! The bakery display was amazing!! We?ll be back!

Every week my hospital department gets donuts and muffins from here and they're pretty good. I love their chocolate chip muffins and berry fritters, but the any of the muffins and the buttermilk doughnuts go fast with my coworkers. At times the donuts can be a little dry, but they're never unpleasant. Would recommend if you're passing through.

Terrible experience with new owner. Very inexperienced. I did not like the way she spoke to her employee. Omelette was great but the server was nasty. Not worth going in to eat.

My taste buds are so excited when I get near Frazier's, they drool when I walk by! The omelettes are great, pastries are delightful, your crew is wonderful. See you soon!

This was my first visit to Frazier's, and it won't be the last. Absolutely fantastic staff and food. Actually find real pieces of fruit in their fritters. Great place to bring the family for either a take out visit or dine in. I couldn't be happier.

Short notice birthday cake. They knocked it out of the park. BEST CAKE EVER!! Right on time and exactly as ordered. If you haven't gave them a try, you need to. We had a chocolate cake with fudge filling and whip cream frosting. Yum.

Wow!! The food was delicious. Everything homemade right there. The English Muffin ?biscuit? was amazing!! The donuts delicious. And the omelette was overflowing with veggies, cheese and meat. The staff was a bit overwhelmed with all the people and being short staffed but they were so friendly and kind. Definitely worth the stop

Frazier's is the kind of bakery & restaurant that every small town should have. No fuss, simple and friendly. It's the kind of place my grandpa would have enjoyed...which might be why I enjoy it so much. The coffee is self-serve, hot and cheap. The donuts, fritters, walnut bran muffins and ice-box cookies are all delicious. I generally don't eat here for their meals, just their bakery items and coffee. There's always a group of older men sitting around talking to their group, as well as to the other patrons

I love coming here for coffee and food. There are not a ton of good choices here in our little town. So if you want a good priced , tasty and home cooked this is a good spot.

I went to get some specific special treats for one of my patients. She was absolutely delighted! Everyone is so nice there. Worth the drive to surprise my patient.

Quality and service has dropped dramatically. Coffee was only refilled once. Food took 43 minutes to arrive. Condiments like butter, jelly, ketchup, creamer, were not offered and when asked for was 15+ minutes.

It was set to be a questionable meal considering we were on our way back from having our 12 year old Newfie cremated. Humans have to eat and awesome travel companion said Frazier's was "THE" place. Super yummy bacon cheese burger, good curly fries, very nice waitress, and the chef went out of his way to make friend's tuna melt on a french roll. Impressive and good! Thank you very much.

It just wasn't very good. I don't know what was in the crunchy chocolate "cream puff," but it didn't taste like whipped cream. The cinnamon pull-apart was good. The fruit bars were tasteless and got tossed.

I've given them a 2 because the cake that I had ordered, and was very specific in my instructions was not the cake that I received. It was sunken on one end, not even level. I drew them a picture of what I wanted and even took them a clay pigeon so they would know specifically what I wanted. I ordered a German chocolate cake with raspberry filling instead of the normal German chocolate cake coconut filling. What I got was the raspberry filling on top of the german chocolate coconut filling which wasn't w

Love the people. Always cheery. Excellent service. Wide variety of baked goods breads donuts lots.

Frazier's out did my expectations on my husband's birthday cake. I have been getting cakes from them for many many years. Skip, the baker extraordinaire, takes my ideas with a picture or without and delivers the end product with pizzazz. Thank you to all the staff, who are always friendly and helpful and my favorite baker. Highly recommended for your cakes, food, and any sweet tooth. Sorry. Tried to post a pic. No pic button.

Doughnuts are great staff very friendly and their menu ..even though it needs to be remade badly does offer some good options. If. You want a pancake make sure your hungry because just 1 fills the plate and tastes really good. Ive eaten here for years and the menu never changes since the 80's as far as i know...

Absolutely FANTASTIC little place. Delicious food and treats. Friendly people that treated us like they've known us for years. We were visiting from Salem, OR and definitely will be back.

If your ever in the area you need to stop for breakfast and treats! We ate there both mornings we were there. I had the western scramble one morning and bacon, eggs, and hash browns the next. My friend had biscuits and gravy both mornings. Make sure you ask for the chunks of sausage in the gravy. It's good with or without but better with more sausage (I had to taste). And be sure to get the hash browns!!!!!! I would not normally rave about hash browns but I would have liked to bring a bunch home with me

OMG everything I have had here is outrageously good. Maple bars, onion cheese bread, garlic loaf, doughnuts, cake. Seriously. It's all good. The staff are always welcoming and friendly too. ~~~ Update August 2023 Since the economy is in crisis, donut prices have gone up from $1 each to $1.25 or $1.50. It's not the worst thing in the world, but they have noticeably reduced the amount of icing on the maple bars. The icing used to be thick and applied generously like frosting. Now it looks like it's applied w

Frazier's Bakery has been a constant source of joy for my entire life . Skip the owner and main Baker started making delectable treats for our small town in 1979, the year I was born . He makes some truly amazing doughnuts. They also make breads and other treats . My personal favorite are his bran muffins . A basic recipe he has perfected over the years . They are soft and deep in flavor with a light sweet crisp shell . So if your driving through or a local you have to try Frazier's Bakery .

All of the employees were very helpful and attentive to me. The bran muffins are awesome and I really liked the breakfast cresant sandwich they made to order for me! I can't wait to try the other treats I purchased.

Went in on a Monday at about 10am. Ordered a simple breakfast for two. Three other tables in the restaurant with a total of 12 people. They all had their food. It took 30 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered.

I can't even express just how amazing the donuts are. Ever since covid, my family has been dying for a donut, even from Walmart. Then my coworker told me about Fraziers....omg....also the lovely lady at the counter is so adorable and sweet. Your company is blessed to have her..hats off to the cooks! Merry Christmas!

Took 15 minutes to get a refill of my coffee

My boyfriend and I Just left very unsatisfied. We sat for about 45 mins waiting for 2 simple biscuits and gravy special. As we are waiting one waiter process to convo with incoming guest and yell orders to other employees behind the counter, one employee comes from the back complaining she didn't get her 30 minute lunch break and only had an 8 minute ciggerett break. Then our food comes out and is given to someone who just sat down. At this point we were done. I politely walked to the counter paid for our c

The baked goods are superb, the restaurant menu is very well done and portioned generously. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is the coffee. It's kinda weak. Nice place to eat.

Amazing breakfast! Service was a bit slow, only because they were so busy in the bakery part. I always love going to this quiet diner.

Good food, prices and service! A mouthwatering selection of fresh baked pastries! I'll definitely eat here again!

Fabulous food and customer service! If you are traveling through Coquille, OR, I highly recommend stopping her for breakfast or lunch. Or even just some bakery treats.

Our favorite place for breakfast in Coquille. Although not a place to sit down and eat if you are in a hurry. Athentic atmosphere, comfortable and delicious. We love it.

Fresh baked everything and great dishes. They put a lot of work into their bakery and it shows. I'm a stickler for quality pastry, and Frazier's is excellent. If I could live here, I would.

The food is good but the service is slow always has been you can sit in there for 10 minutes before you get anybody notices

Love this place! The jalapeno cheese bread, homemade chicken pot pies and date squares are my favorite. Its a one hour drive for me but worth it!

Delicious! They make their own donuts, cakes, cookies, pies, breads & more. Breakfast menu & lunch menu are also available. In house espresso machine.

Great grilled cheese and fries and a full on site bakery. We ate in the Rotary room. Friendly staff. Reasonable rates. Try it, you'll like it.

Freshly baked goods for a very reasonable price, with friendly service too. Will stay and enjoy a meal in their restaurant next time.

Wonderful pastries, light and tasty. Reasonably priced. Can't wait for the next trip home so we can start with Frazier ' s pastries.

Enjoyed my breakfast today fabulous chicken fried steak and potatoes. Wonderful service great atmosphere I recommend this place for a good breakfast.

only good thing about it is pastries are fresh. The atmosphere lacks welcoming feel. The workers need work on helpfulness and customer service skills.

If they were on the coast instead of a backstreet in Coquille, they would be famous. I have a feeling they like it just the way it is??? breakfasts are the best!

Great donuts. Haven't got a thank you yet, but great donuts.

I've been stopping at Frazier's bakery for many yearsyears ago it was for the blueberry fritters with a hint of lemon, now it's the pretzel doughnuts and the cannoli. A very friendly place!

Great place. Donuts, cookies, cakes. Great breakfast! Open at 5am to 3pm. Closes at 2pm on Sundays.

Good breakfast and lunch. Plus all types of bakery items. Large Salad bar for lunch hours. The service is awesome with nice waitresses.

Excellent breakfast & great service especially since she was the only server, cashier & taking care of bakery items.??????????

Excellent fresh baked goods ! Awesom burgers ! Frazier's Bakery is a wonderfull place to eat and enjoy a family owned atmosphere.

Plenty to eat and great prices down home feel

Best home fries to date. Jalapeno cheese bread a staple at our home. Excellent bakery products

The service was very slow. It took a long time to get our food. The cookies were awful. They were hard as a rock and had no flavor. We would not go there again.

Made a quick stop for macaroons. Verrry good! It was busy. The staff kept the line moving and I was in and out in a few minutes. Yay!

Great food. The potato salad is the best I've ever had. The baked goods are fantastic.

Amazing breakfast options and a very cute bakery, I will be going here from now on

The food is great, the donuts looked good, but I was too full after breakfast for anything else

We are so fortunate to have a bakery of this calibre. Great staff and great donuts ,cakes ,pies breads etc .

Best breakfast we have had on our travels. The Hashbrowns were perfect. Highly recommend

Had to wait a while for half of our parties meals, however the food was delicious, and environment relaxing.

Nice place. Good selection of pastries. Reasonable food for a fair price.

Great food but kinda serve yourself coffee and wait staff is slow

Restaurant isn't the greatest compared to there bakery is really good I give bakery 4 starts 2 Star's for restaurant I even had to bring in my own drink because they tried charging me for a refile on a small cup

Have had pastries and breakfast there it is the best, plus friendly service.

For a local bakery within a 30 mile radias, not bad. Get there early ...donuts sell fast.

Food was good but due to staffing problems the wait was 45 min. For the food.

Decent food and doughnut selection. Have to get here early for best selection of pastry.

Good stuff but they always seem to be out really fast you need to make more
