Local! Great local donut shop. Amazing donuts. Their breakfast sandwiches are very, very good. Tie it all off with a coffee and you can never go wrong. The prices are very reasonable and they have a drive through so it is very convenient.

Had a delicious apple fritter and cronut at this donut shop. Also ordered a delicious ham, egg and cheese on a croissant. Very tasty

I love how fresh the cake doughnuts are, my favorite is the blueberry cake! Apparently its everyone?s favorite because they run out quickly. The vanilla ice and cherry cake doughnuts are awesome as well.

Everyone raves about this place but it was extremely disappointing. We went inside and service was good I appreciate them being patient but seems like they had little help in terms of management. There were flys everywhere, the floor and just general counter space was filthy. My boyfriend enjoyed his breakfast sandwich even though we watched them microwave the eggs. Coffee was fine. Donuts were good but nothing spectacular, something you could get at dunkin.

Best Donuts around.. This is the only donut shop that I've yet to find that carries a variety of coconut donuts. Cream filled and iced coconut. Any coconut lovers will be satisfied. They are sooo good. Prices are $2.00 each though ,which is hign in my opinion. But,they are worth the price to me

These are by far the best donuts in town! We've come here for years, but today was the first time we've gotten up early to go. We'd been planning to treat ourselves this morning and arrived around 7am. Usually when we walk in it's busy and bustling, but the owner always greets us. I would say top 10 donuts I have had in my life. Nothing spectacular aesthetically speaking but the donuts are GREAT (as are the Apple fritters)! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! ?? We went to the one on 34th, were treated horribly, and sent out with disgusting food. I drove to this one, and the owner made us a brand new sandwich, and even fixed my coffee despite the other location messing it up! ?? She earned my business on the spot. Very nice local bakery. The staff were busy busy but still personable and kind to each guest. The shop was clean and the line moved along quickly both inside and drive thru. They have a few booths to sit inside if you wish to eat there. We enjoyed the selection of donuts available and though they were very fresh and delicious! Reasonably priced as well. Thank you!

Went inside for service vice busy drive thru. Total disorganization. No order to who gets served. Workerdonuts. More concerned with socializing with customers, then helping others who may be in a hurry. Donuts were good, but not worth the wait, and the price was high....over $2/ donut. Will not go back.

It was really busy because it was Mother's Day. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. I ordered a toasted coconut donut filled with coconut cream. It was fresh, warm, and paired well with a cup of coffee.

Excellent staff and delicious pastries. We get several dozen once a month for an event at work. The variety is wild and they are always fresh. The apple fritters should be illegal they are so good. Best donut shop in St Pete.

We used to frequent this place but after today we will never return. There is absolutely no reason to sell a whole box of donut holes that are burnt. I understand stuff happens but not the entire box. They are all Crunchy and all you taste is burnt grease. What a shame because this used to be the place to go to get the best donuts.

Tell me why Frays was closed and will be closed til after New Year's Day? Though this breaks my heart. I'm happy they are blessed to be able to take off this holiday season. See ya Tues Frays for those delish apple fritters!!!

3rd visit update ??They're Very exceptional staff. Clean. Drive thru open. Even at 4:30pm good selection to choose from but will try to go earlier next visit. They also have outside seating. The new hours are 4am till 1230pm, plan on getting in as soon as U can because everything is gone fast that's just how delicious EVERYTHING is here??

The creaminess was superb! I enjoyed a everything bagel with cream cheese this morning and it's crazy how something that simple can taste. So good! Amazing quality bagels, good cream cheese and lots more to choose from here as well! Definitely give it a try if you have not. I heard the coffee and donuts are excellent!

Update: I've been here quite a few times since my original review, and my experience has been much better. Only ONE time since then, I did get a hint of dirty fryer oil taste, but not nearly as bad as before. Overall, I'm quite happy with my experience now, and I am happy to change my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. ______________ I've been here 3 times so far, and their donuts are really good. Starred this place as my new local favorite donut shop. Staff was friendly and helpful even though they had a long line inside and in drive through. Super cute local donut shop, prices are not bad for gourmet donuts and they even have a ton of books to entertain people like me who visit these places alone. Went to this location about 30min til closing and they had quite a bit of variety still which we did not expect. Customer service was great. Sandwiches were delicious and tasted fresh. Donuts YUM! We live nearby and this was our first visit, we will be returning for sure. Oh and coffee was good too!

New owners. Food was sloppy. Donuts were not as good as they used to be. Got there at 9:35 AM and half their donut trays were empty, and they ran out of donuts by 10 AM. Who runs out of donuts by 10 AM? When I pointed that out they didn?t seem to care. Also, since I ate in the establishment, three other patrons came in and said the same thing. Why are you out of donuts? It?s not even 10 AM and they still didn?t seem to care. Do not recommend. Go somewhere else.

Good eats. Doughnuts were good and sandwiches were perfect. Facility is clean. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's a little pricey, like $2 more expensive per sandwich than other places I've been (not St. Pete). The reason is also the redeeming quality, it is the staff. Well staffed and everyone was friendly and food came out fast. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast. Oh and the coffee was good.

We are on vacation and found Frays. It smells delicious when you walk in and the service was nice and awesome. My blueberry Danish was delightful. My daughter got the sausage egg and cheese bagel and it was super cheesey and she loved it. Would definately stop by again!

Frays new management is sub-par. Management was unprofessional screaming from lobby to an employee in the back over loud music which is obnoxious and annoying. The teenager working swept up things towards the toddler walking by. Although asked to be excused in passing. All while cleared our table of purchases when we got up to use the facilities. Poor service and a travesty the donut quality is down too.

Who doesn't love doughnuts? Fray's is fresh, tasty and so much better than the chain variety. Great consistency, fantastic variety and always friendly. The prices here are comparable to the competition but the overall variety and the fact that Fray's actually FILLS their doughnuts makes this the hands down winner for me. Frays used to be my favorite go to place for donuts that was before it changed ownership a few years ago. Now the donuts are bland, tasteless and not even edible. I took a bite, then took one more and threw it out the window. I?ll never be back.

It's a donut house and they have exactly that, donuts! They have a very large variety and I had to get some to bring to Thanksgiving dinner and they were a hit! Great value for "specialty" donuts compared to supermarket prices, and I especially loved the apple fritter donut as well as the glazed. Not a big donut guy but these were good donuts.

Delicious donuts, top tier coffee. So far I've tried the glazed, lemon jelly, and regular jelly donuts, all have been tasty and fresh. Only gripe is maybe the location; I went on a busy day and the drive through line spilled out to the road and didn't move very fast. My husband went in and ordered and we had our food long before our car would have reached the speaker to place an order via drive-through line.

My first visit here and I was so impressed! my daughter recommended it and did not disappoint! The biscuits and gravy were to die for I had a bacon egg and cheese. Croissant sandwich tasted homemade ! I will definitely return again soon!

We?ve been to Fray?s multiple time since we moved to Pinellas Park and their donuts are absolutely fabulous and delicious. The staff is very courteous and takes pride in what they do. Go and support a local business instead of big chains like Dunkin?s. Their red velvet donut holes are the bomb. ?? ?? the pic was taken at home ??, so the cutting board is ours, but you get the idea.

Went there for the second time today. Service is friendly and quick. Donuts and bacon egg and cheese bagel are delicious! I love that they crumble the bacon on the bagel and it's easier to eat. Definitely would recommend.

I have been in Florida for 6 years and have had the opportunity to go to several commercial and local donut places along the lines of Dunkin' Donuts, but I stumbled into Frays donuts at a function I was at yesterday morning.These donuts were the freshest,softest, pillowy,most tasty donuts I have ever tasted from a bakery in this category. Donuts are delicious and filled well. A little pricey at $2/ea with them being smaller than average. No price break unless you buy 1/2 dozen. Service hit or miss. The ladies are very friendly and acknowledge you when you walk in. The guys not so much. They just ignore you.

I have been going to Frey's every week for 9 years. Since the new owners have taken over I have moved on to other shops because the are constantly out of the donuts I favor. In the last 2 months I have gone there 6 times between 10 AM and noon and found my choice is gone. They also have raised prices and made the donuts smaller.

Me and my fianc? love going here because they have the best donuts ever. But the reason I?m knocking a star is because every time we go in at 10am if they?re out of a donut we like they won?t ever make it for us in the back. They?ll only let us get what?s left. But even the owner told us once that if we came in before noon they?d always make any donuts we want in the back. So that part stinks because you want a certain donut and always have to settle.

Since this Fray?s was sold earlier this year it has gone downhill. They never have donuts ready between 4am-5am. They put out their worst selections first trying to unload those before putting out the best ones. Sucks, cause they think we?re stupid! Done w/ Fray?s!

First and last time here. I had a donut and a cappuccino. I asked for no milk and just almond milk because I'm lactose intolerant. I tasted the coffee and didn't like it but still paid for it because it was made already. The donut was very dry and she added almond milk and MILK in the cappuccino. I hate giving 1 star but that's just bad business.

Worthy of being known as the best donuts in the Bay area, particularly this location. Wide variety of options, it is so hard to choose. I love their doughnuts; but the prices are downright insulting. I pull in to the drive-thru and see the menu. I would never spend $18.67 for a dozen! I am on my way to Publix to pick up a dozen and a box of breakfast sandwiches and I will still walk out spending less for a dozen at Fray?s. That ?inflation? excuse doesn?t work anymore. It?s time to lower the prices or lose customers. Very heartbreaking.

Today, 3-3-2024, is not the best day for Frays donuts. The croissants taste days old and are tough, the twist donuts are half the size and thickness of the normal size, I really hope that today is just a one off. Too many employees in such a small area, this is not typical, usually there are 4 employees at the most out front. We've been coming to this location since we moved to Florida in 2017. Since new management took over they are slowwwww. Product isn?t what it used to be filling in donut?s very small. Donut flavor aren?t as good either. I sat in line 15min only 2 cars ahead of me no big Order after 10 minutes for the first car they had them pull over. Next. Soo sad last management was soooo Good. In and out in minutes. They are polite and all but speed is required too.
