We LOVED Franks donuts. The prices are fair and the donuts were great! I swear after I ate my donut I wanted 10 more. The woman at the counter even went out of her way to get us the donuts we wanted, very sweet.

Outstanding. Fresh. Warm. Get there early because they?ll sell out. Prices are low and the quality is through the roof. Everything pictured (plus two donuts and a donut hole that didn?t make it to the car) cost $12.

Wonderful donuts! Staff is friendly and accomodating, :) clean and well lit as well. Donuts are a good balance of sweet and bread-y, but a bit on the dense side. Great treat for a Sunday, thank you!

I called before i came to ask if they had chocolate glazed donuts with walnuts on top and was told yes. So drive all the way here to be told No and all three employees couldnt even understand english. Worst experience ever! I asked for a raspberry filled donut and she couldnt understand what i was saying. How can you have employees working, and cant even understand english to serve you what your wanting? So i pointed at the chocolate glaze and said just give me one of those. And was shocked at the price. Co

I've been a huge fan of Frank's Donuts for 5 years but always forgot to post a raving review. Now that I'm finally moving out of Lexington, it's the least I can do to buy myself 16 donuts and thank Frank's Donuts and their staff for satisfying my donut cravings all this time. Trust me, y'all gonna have a hard time finding a donut bakery that has better tasting donuts at the same price.

The Doughnuts were fresh and Delicious!! The service was speedy and the price of the Doughnuts were extremely affordable!!!! Only issue was no napkins in bag!! Other than that it was a nice experience!!

The donuts are pretty good and definitely reasonably priced, you can take them to go or sit and enjoy a coffee. However there are no restrooms. I had the bear claw thinking it had almond paste in it but it had apple pie filling. The donut itself was really good but the filling had a tinny taste to it.

Best donuts money can buy!! They sell out of some varieties before 9 a.m. I suggest planning to get there as early as possible. The ladies working most mornings are really great and do their best to keep up. I prefer to arrive early enough for the donuts when they're still warm. So soft and fresh!!!

Let me tell you what! Driving through Kentucky I stopped for the road trip doughnut, to go. These were the lightest, best tasting doughnut I have ever had. We went back to buy more for family in our home state. Staff was pleasant and friendly.

This is my first time coming here. It?s a Saturday morning at 11:50 a.m. They close at 1:00 p.m. They don?t have any plain glazed donuts. Basic, plain glazed donuts. This is shear laziness. She said, ?We close when we run out.? Really? Ma?am. You run out when you don?t make enough. LAZY.

They are one of the few options in Lex that opens super early (before 6am). Got the blueberry cake and reg. glazed donut. They were both tasty and warm

Stopped by for some fresh donuts this morning and all I can say is WOW!!! Delicious and warm and the chocolate was so silky and just delicious!! As you can see I couldn?t help myself before taking the picture I had to have a big ole bite!!! The other is a blueberry cake donut! Just delicious. If ya haven?t been ya should go!! Nothing like fresh out of the oven, or fryer rather, donuts on a cold February morning!!!

This place has the best donuts in town! The workers are incredibly friendly and always greet me with a cheerful "Good morning," which really brightens my day. Plus, their glazed donuts are the best I've ever had!

Frank's Donuts is awesome. Their donuts are well sized, decently priced and taste amazing. Definitely a step up from the chains and of the three other donut places I have tried in town, top notch. If it weren't for stupid New Year's resolutions, I'd be at Frank's every day trying to give myself the diabeetus and bulk up to be an alternate for Goodyear Blimp.

This donut shop is a hole in the wall, it's right down the street from "Spaulding's Bakery" (another donut shop) but it's cheaper for the money. I've been here twice, no complaints on the donuts. The donuts are fresh, good tasting and how it should be. The glazed donuts and donuts holes are great, I love the raspberry jelly filled ones too. They don't always have what you want though so check in before you order. Their drive-thru speaker also needs a tune-up.

My daughter bought me a donut that was filled with a cheesecake type filling and OMG it was the best donut that I have personally eaten in my life. Will have to try it out again the next time that I am in the area

Great variety and taste! Apple fritters, bear claws, strawberry and cream cheese Danish, jelly filled, plus all of your regular donuts you would expect. Fritters and other specialty sell out quickly and lines can be long on the weekends - go early!

My favorite place in town! Great fluffy yeast doughnuts. Says its open at 4:30 but I've been there at 4:40 before and all the lights are off and not ones manning the drive through. If you can help it I wouldn't go until a little after 6AM cause at 5AM they only have a limited amount of doughnuts out.

Asked for a chocolate glazed donut and had to repeat it 7 times and still didn't get what ordered. I couldn't understand what the girl was saying and because I couldn't understand they were laughing. Very young, immature females at the window. How do you run a donut shop when you can't even understand glazed donuts?

First allow me to say the donuts are absolutely fresh and delicious. Most importantly they were reasonably priced, 7 dollars for a dozen. That's wonderful. The negative unfortunately is the customer service reeks. Walked in today for the 1st time and wasn't greeted by the counter staff. Felt unappreciated. Ordered my donuts then paid. Wasn't given a receipt. No thank you or come again.

Everyone loves Frank?s donuts, & the hero?s that bring them to work! The staff is super friendly, helpful & patient, every donut is so delicious that it takes a few minutes to make that important choice of which to pick, you will want all of them! They are also very reasonable which makes them easy to share to spread the word

Best donuts in town! The regular glazed are so big & fluffy. The Nutella-filled donut is a huge glazed sliced in half sandwich style & filled to the edges & then the hole is filled with it, too! Ha, I was genuinely surprised - it was literally the best donut I've ever had.

The standard glazed donut costs only $0.65, but I would happily pay $5.00 for them because they are probably the most delicious donut I have ever had. 10/10 recommend. Great place to swing by the drive thru and grab a donut or two whenever you're in the area!

I went through their drive thru and picked up a couple dozen glazed for my coworkers. I also grabbed a cup of coffee for myself. The donuts were still slightly warm, which was a bonus. Their coffee is always hot reminds me of maybe a Columbian blend and imo a good balance to the sweet donut. My coworkers and I loved the donuts. Went through the drive thru and wanted a dozen of assorted filled donuts and chocolate donuts. They must not have understood us and just gave us a regular assortment, no chocolate ones. The ones listed on the receipt weren't even the ones we got. And we got a muffin and cinnamon roll which we didn't want at all, especially since the muffin had nuts and I'm allergic to nuts. The donuts tasted fine, nothing super special.

Location is not the best nor in the greatest part of town. Very small parking lot and very small selection of donuts. When asking for a cream filled make sure you get the correct ones as they gave me custard and that is not cream. Prices are good. They need a take home menu to give to friends and bags for large orders. I placed a 3 dozen order and they didn't have any bags but trash bags.

THIS IS IT!!! FRANK's DONUTS!! My father used to bring me and I have been looking for this donut shop for years. This is IT!!!?????? The donuts are so fresh, light and airy, not cakey and solid but a donut that is nurtured, like how I felt when my Dad brought me here. We used to take bags home to Illinois and freeze them; such beautiful memories when I bite into my donut yesterday. I thank God ~ I FOUND FRANK's! ??

I LOVE these donuts. It feels family owned/operated, which is fantastic. Awesome prices, and delicious when everything is fresh. A cold donut is a cold donut no matter where you go :) These negative reviews sound ridiculous, keep it up Frank's!

Horrible customer service this morning. Spent $24 on my order and employee made error and only rang me up for one order of donuts holes. When I asked, she was very rude and questioned me. She then charged me $1.40 but wouldn't take my card that was only run for $24 because I didn't meet the $3 card limit this time. She should have given me the bag of $1.40 donut holes instead of losing a customer forever. Her attitude was awful, there was no apology, and I left unsatisfied with no solution.

Best long Johns EVER! Lightest yeast donut I?ve ever had, fluffy cream filling, great tasting chocolate icing as well. The other donuts we got were phenomenal as well, but I DREAM about the long Johns!!

Best donuts in the city hands down. The raised sugar is life. Bismark, plain long johns. The Nutella and the Cream Cheese filled......*chefs kiss*. You have to time yourself to get the muffins. 6 am is too early 9 am too late some days. So glad they put one here in Lexington. That drive to Winchester was hard in winter. Lol

Haven't actually been there, but the doughnuts somebody brought in were delicious! I'm a glazed doughnut girl, and it was the fluffiest, tastiest doughnut I've had, it's above DoughDaddy's on my list.

Do yourself a favor and stop here. It is located across from a very nice, inclusive park. That devils food donut was one of the best donuts I've had in my travels. Thank you!

Amazing Donuts. Probably the best in town. A great friend/business partner started bringing from the Georgetown location (absolutely best in Central KY) and it's my go-to every since!

Cheap donuts that are worth it. Unlike Spalding's, they actually accept card in addition to cash. I think this is key to having a customer base and even though Spalding's has better tasting donuts, there are times where I'm simply not carrying cash to go there -- Frank's is a solid alternative.

Franks has always been a go to donut spot for my family. I understand inflation has caused several price increases including with Franks. My issue is that with the increase in price you downsized the donuts. They are now the size of Krispy Kreme. How can you up the price but downsize the product? Sad

I am not sure whats going on with the Lexington location but their doughnuts dont taste the same as the locations in Georgetown or Pairs the last few visits I have always loved the thick yeast doughnuts but this location has seemed to change something they are doing becuase they are not as thick as they were before.

I was thrilled to see a Frank's in Lexington and even more excited to see they opened at 4:30am. I tried the doors at 4:41 no answer or hours posted and thought "well maybe only drive thru is open." So I passed an employee going in to sit at the lit up drive thru ordering screen for 5 minutes without an acknowledgement. I drove to the window and seen people inside working but dont think they're ready to serve customers at 4:30 like google says. Sadly I left and bought 2 dozen donuts and donut holes elsewher

They donuts were ice cold. And they made my drink and didn't even ask beforehand on substitution on what to put in my drink. Cheap prices thats great. Still soft but ice cold

Good doughnuts but the hours were off on Google came at 4:45 on a Friday morning and they weren't open. Lobby or drive through.

The donuts I ordered were just mouth watering, the cinnamon rolls so good. Frank's is coming to be my favorite go to place for pastries.

If you want a professional place I do not recommend you that place on E third street :I am very disappointed I have been at this place since 4:20 because the website said they open at 4:30 but nobody showed up this place is very unprofessional one of the worked showed up at 4:50 and she told me they change the schedule for the pandemic so they will open at 5 am. There was a long line but worth it. Donuts are so good, fluffy, fresh, flavorful and also inexpensive. Get in early if you don't want to wait.

Only issue was they were out of some of our favorite donuts. But what they had was delicious.
