Donut selection was incredible, many appetizing flavors. Breakfast sandwiches and coffee as well. Interesting to see how they are made.

Our family stayed two doors down from the Ocean City, NJ location and the experience was top notch. Not only were our donuts delicious, obviously!!, but the cold brews we ordered were also great! But the manager, he was *chef?s kiss*! Friendly, kind, cheerful, knowledgeable. Our entire family enjoyed him!

I have no clue how there can be a Dunkin or Stabucks within 20 miles of this place, excpet that a certain percentage of people are willing to overlook quality and excellent service in exchange for speed. The staff was engaging, polite and friendly. The coffe was PERFECT! I had a Cappacino and a Latte in the same day and both spoiled me for my home machine... I am not a donut guy, but I got a dozen for the family and they wre devoured, and the reports are that they were hot, fresh, delicious and on and on

I have long known Fractured Prune as a staple at the OCMD/DE beaches but noticed a few locations pop up in Jersey Shore a few years ago. After years of being loyal to our local shops I decided to try it out. First off, their menu is MASSIVE. Their donuts are similar to many fried donut shops down here where each variety starts as a fresh, hot, fried donut and is then topped with your specific order. Went with my husband and daughter. We ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything donut and it was so good. We also ordered half dozen donuts. I loved the churro donut and the cookies and cream. My husband has the Boston cream. Everything was fresh and quick to come out. They even have a small outdoor seating section out front which is nice.

This place has a great choice of different donuts and even if you don't like their choices, you can build your own. The donuts are made to order so we'll have to wait longer than usual but if you want a better donut than Dunkin Donuts it's worth the time and the money.

This place is awesome. You watch the hot donuts drop out right in front of you and then they are topped with whatever delicious toppings your heart desires. From the simple to the crazy they are all delicious and still warm when you get them! Caution the box will be hot! They also offer breakfast sandwiches and a variety of specialty coffee drinks with crazy flavors! Try the French toast donut.. simple but yet perfect in every way. Pair it with an almond joy frozen or iced coffee! You wont regret it.

Great tasting donuts. Made to order. We got the 2 for $5. Left us wanting more. Prices seem a little high for the size of the donut. But it doesn?t take away from the excellent taste of them.

This place has the best donuts I have EVER had! They are very doughy and the icing is delicious! Me and my family love it! I went here 3 time on my OCNJ trip this year! We had 15 adults and children in town for a reunion yesterday. I wanted them to get to experience an Ocean City favorite and also keep it simple for myself to not have to cook. We ordered an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, wraps and donuts the night before and it was a hit. The kids LOVED the donut decorating kits. Donuts were tasty. The children loved them. I thought there was a bit of an aftertaste. However, they were freshly made, great customer service and the staff in the back were working like crazy to get orders out bc it was packed!

The donuts are made hot and fresh to order so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but everything from Fractured Prune is well worth that wait. You can also order online which makes ordering very quick and easy. We ordered donuts for my daughter's donut themed birthday party and they are guaranteed to be a huge hit! This is a must stop when visiting OC, NJ!

The donuts are made fresh after you place your order. They are glazed and topped fresh too! Incredible flavors - I would recommend Ms. Prunella and Orange Cream. They were the most popular in our household, but we liked all of the ones we ordered!

My two young sons were excited to share with the staff that it was our first time here. The staff was so friendly. We used their outdoor seating to eat our donuts warm. I heard the manager (owner?) tell a staff member inside "It's their first time here. Go check on them and see how they like it." I loved the experience. The doughnuts are the best I have ever had, and I have had many a donut, French toast donut, lightly crisp on the outside and soft and moist on the inside, the only problem is that you will never want a regular donut again.

GO THERE!! The donuts are amazing! Fresh, warm, and delicious. I brought them back to our rental, which was about 5 minutes from the store, and they were PERFECT. I think it's probably best to let them sit a couple minutes before you eat them, as they might be too hot when they're first served. Don't skip this place!

Been coming to the Asbury location for years every time we are on vacation. As other reviewers say best fresh donuts around and great service by the nicest family owners. But don?t forget to try their coffee! I think it is among the best in OC and you can order espresso and lattes also!!

Nothing like a hot donut covered in chocolate and m&ms. This place is great and worth checking out. The coffee isn't anything special so don't expect anything crazy on that front. The service is fast and efficient, but not exactly friendly - some might care about that kind of thing but I don't. But yeah, those donuts are great. I found very little good to write about in Ocean City, but this place stands out! They have an incredible variety of donuts baked and prepared on order. They are still hot when served. we tried several different types and most were excellent. But the maple flavored topping was below par. I also ordered two iced lattes and and one was served cold and the hot one was not a latte! But the donuts are worth the trip. They also serve ice cream which we did not try.

As soon as you walk in, you feel so welcomed by the friendly staff and all the smiles. The donuts are so delicious and fresh. The breakfast sandwich is better than your ?normal? breakfast sandwich and it was hot and great with lots of flavor. Went for coffee since it was close walking distance from our hotel. First time experience with Fractured Prune Donuts so I asked and I found out they were cake donuts made to order. At first I thought, ok, already made donuts that are topped with your choice of toppings. The owner explained further that they actually make the donuts fresh when you order! Love fractured prune. I was just a little annoyed that when they closed the box, it smushed the toppings and had to scoop the Boston cream back onto the donut. Not a big deal.

Very good donuts! I think they could be improved a bit by making their cake a bit lighter and fluffy and get their glaze and sugar coatings a bit thicker to stay on the donut instead of running off. The OC Sand and French toast did not have enough toppings on the donut.

While a lot of places claim to have the best donuts on the island this is by far my favorite! High quality donuts misse with a plethora of options when it comes to toppings. Great donuts! (they come fresh from the oven and melt in your mouth). They also have three V60 pour-overs for coffee and have some very unique and special origins (Haiti is one of them). They aren't specialty quality, but they have the potential to be if they had more space and the desire to learn/become a specialty cafe. The coffee is amazing. I was there recently while on a family vacation, we drove by and instantly had to stop because my family was craving donuts!! Inside was very clean and the staff was friendly and took their time to explain the process! My family was helped by Lexie and Evan and they engaged us in conversation! Honestly, the wait was WAY TOOOO LONG for the donuts... They needed to open the second register! Several employees wandering around behind the register stocking and doing whatever. Waited 18 minutes just to get to the register and another 10-15 after paying for our dozen and coffee.... And most of the donuts were all one flavor/type ( a plain donut) just with dozens of different toppings. Not my cup of tea. Nice folks but a little mismanaged in my opinion....

My daughter got one of their hot donuts I believe it was the carnival doughnut. It had a honey glaze and was dipped in rainbow sprinkles. She absolutely loved it. I got a Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich and it was good. I would have liked more meat on it. My husband got a wrap and he really enjoyed it.

I'm glad I don't live close by because I would come here way too much. I love the warm donuts loaded with mocha glaze and mini chocolate morsels. Price is high for donuts but worth it for the experience while on vacation. There is usually a wait early in the morning but they get you through pretty quick.

I've been coming to Ocean City NJ for the past 10 years. My best friend's family has a house on 18th street and we just discovered this place today. We are in love. The donuts are amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful and how can you not dance in a shop that plays great classics. This has become a must when we come here. Absolutely worth it.

The donuts themselves amazing. Service from Lexy, the girl with the blonde hair, was rude. Completely unprofessional. She says ?oh, well we close in 5 minutes so.? Okay well you closed in 15 minutes when we got there, do you want my business or not? Should probably hire better staff that doesn?t hate their job. You work 8-12 how much worse could your life possibly get.

The Fractured Prune has THE BEST donuts on the island. I was more upset when I found out they only open on weekends after labor day. They also have great breakfast sandwich type foods and good coffee. I would absolutely heavily recommend everyone to visit for breakfast.

Delicious hot donuts, with a huge variety of toppings. You could choose one of their preset combinations or create your own by picking out what toppings you want. All in all a great experience, and affordable.
