Fox's Donut Den

The donuts were soft, light, and delicious! The glazed donut was buttery and fresh, better than classic chain donuts. The chocolate cake donut was incredibly moist and my favorite of the bunch. The shop is super charming and nostalgic!

I popped in a little earlier today with a friend (we are visiting from the UK). We had just finished a large meal so didn't have much room left in our stomachs. We decided to try and some of the small donuts. The owner gave them to us for free. He was super friendly and told us about his store. He went above and beyond. The donuts tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend their donuts.

There are many new donuts shops in Nashville these days but I think this one is older. There are many choices and their donuts are lighter than other donuts. The atmosphere was so cute and nostalgic and stuff was kind.

The best donuts in Nashville?and probably the best apple fritters I?ve EVER eaten! (And I?ve eaten my fair share all over the U.S.) They offer a wonderful variety of fresh cake, raised and specialty donuts, plus muffins, fritters, etc. and they are priced very reasonably as well! The service is excellent, courteous and very helpful. I generally get a couple dozen donuts when I visit and freeze the majority so I can enjoy them when the cravings are overwhelming?which is frequently. :-)

I'm picky about my donuts. I know this place has been here for years so my hopes weren't dashed. I'm a simple girl so I just got a plain glazed and a bear claw....but I tell you what it was so good I didn't feel basic at all. The plain glaze was so light fluffy and delicious. And I haven't had many bear claws in my life so I don't know but when I grabbed it it had a little wight to it. It was delicious and very filling. Glad I made the stop!

I?ve recommended this spot to many people, and I always pick up a box for my team when I can. Quality is unmatched in Nashville. I?ve tried pretty much every donut they offer, and haven?t had a bad one yet. Fox?s has been around for so long for a reason!

That was my first time in and the customer service I received was amazing. When I told the gentleman who helped that I was picking up donuts for my company. And explained this was my first visit. Oh wow! Love this place! We have flashing Donut sign! Love it!! And you smell donuts cooking from the streets. It?s an old school type place. From the older gentleman in the corner to the guy who obviously makes the donuts. He had flour on his clothes! ?? The donuts were fabulous! Especially the star shaped. Well it's hard to get muffins so when I see them I get a dozen to get the price break. The cranberry muffins, muffins with Walnuts and Apple fritters are good.They have Bran muffins and carrot cake muffins. There maybe a few I have forgotten. But it would be worth the sweet treat that melts in your mouth.

Donuts were so good, we came back twice! We tried a variety of donuts between the two days during our trip. Our favorites were the glazed donut, Boston cr?me, and apple fritter. These donuts taste exactly how donuts should taste - freshly made, sweet but not too sweet, and delicious! Excellent prices. Customer service was amazing - we had a lovely experience both days. Miami does not have donut shops like this unfortunately. It?s a real, classic donut shop. We will 100% return when we come back to Tenness

Tried Fox?s donuts at a Super Bowl party and instantly was obsessed. I went in tonight with my husband and Dylan was so sweet and patient when I asked about all the donut flavors. The donuts are unbelievable and I will most definitely be back!

So, I wanted a shiny glazed donut and an apple fritter. The tiny red headed boy behind the counter said the donuts were three hours old but the glazed looked old, cracked and dry. No greeting, no smile and no kindness. I asked I'd he could put extra glaze on the side or redunk it. Before I could get the latter word out of my mouth he said no with straight face then said no again after I said redunk. His employer was kind and all smiles. This boy needs to be in an office somewhere away from customers.

Fox?s Donut Den is the standard for a great Apple Fritter, because of this - their Apple Fritter?s are a 10 - must try. I have been eating there Apple Fritters for over 25 years. I have been in a lot of states in a lot of major Cities and have not found an Apple Fritter as good as Fox?s Donut Den.

it was so scrumptious! some of the best donuts i?ve ever had! owners are so nice and the maple bacon donut is to die for!! they have the best apple fritters ever!! the fritters are so big they last me 3 days!! talk about a good deal. 10/10 recommend, you should go buy some now!!

Went here to try out the apple fritter and compare it to our local donut shop. I promised to leave a review so here it is. I will give it a 5 out of 5 stars!! It?s VERY tasty, however, it still comes up just a tad shy of the fritter at U. S. DONUTS in Martin. I highly recommend Fox?s for the fritter, or the old fashioned cake donuts, or whatever you prefer! Staff is friendly also! If you like a good donut, then give them a try!

The BEST service. They were about to close because they were running out of product and the girl behind the counter offered us free muffins and a pastry. It made our trip from chicago well worth it. We went to five daughters bakery but we weren't impressed. This place takes the cake.

Great place for a sweet treat. Donuts were good, and even more surprising was the apple fritters. I?ve made this a consistent stop throughout my journeys through Nashville before moving here. The traffic to get in and out is very tough, but the pastry?s are cheap and taste great. I?d recommend as one of the better places in Nashville for it.

I mean this very literally. They are the single best donut shop I?ve found. I live in Kentucky, but I stop by this shop every time I?m in the area and get as many as I can eat before they go stale, which typically takes 2-3 days. This is no doubt one of the best donut places in the greater Nashville area. But I give them 4 out of 5 stars because they raised the prices of their donut holes significantly, shrunk the size of them and eliminated their promotional offers that I used to use. I am an Apple fritter fiend. As such, it cant be some lite and fluffy (doughy) pillow of a donut, no sir. A great Apple fritter is properly fried to a crisp on the edges and glazed sufficiently to cover the whole thing and, again, provide a bit of a crisp. The inside needs to be moist and flavorful. Fox?s knocks it out of the park. This bad boy weighs at least a pound (my estimate) I will most gladly drive the 40 minutes to and get my fritter fix on! According to their Google entry they're open, and the lights are on, but the doors are locked. Answered the phone just long enough at 11:27 to tell us they were closed. The rudest thing a business can do is to lock its doors during its stated business hours. This indictes a distinct lack of respect for their customer's time. We drove almost 20 minutes out of our way to come here and will not be back. Sitting in their parking lot writing this review.

Easily the best donut shop in America! It?s like going back to your childhood. The moment you approach can you smell the goodness wafting out of the doors. Amazing tasting donuts and the variety is dazzling. The staff and the owner, Norman Fox, are incredibly generous and a joy to encounter. If you?re lucky you might just spot Tom Hanks! Enjoy!

They stay open later than you would expect and the stock is refreshed in the evening. They open at 6am, but the schedule sometimes changes around holidays. Best experience at any donut place I have ever been too. The older man was the nicest employee anywhere I had ever met. Called ahead and caught him about to close up shop but he stayed and left it open for me and my girlfriend only. Got there around 9:30 and the donuts were fresh for the next morning. I didn?t have high expectations walking in but, then staff was friendly and helpful in choosing a pastry. When I tried the glazed donut, I tasted nothing but heaven and love. The chocolate eclair was the best I?ve ever tasted and the croissant donut was to die for. This has become our go to place for donuts anytime we come to Nashville. Don?t listen to the 1 star reviews. They clearly don?t know what good food taste like.

These donuts are amazing, my only gripe is the maple bars got stuck together and to the box lid (better packing not shoving them all in a too small box) - either way, it was worth picking the frosting off the lid.
