Fort Bend Donuts

Fort Bend Donuts

Reviews Summary

The reviews show a mix of experiences, with many praising the donuts, kolaches, and friendly service (numerous 5-star ratings). However, several 1-star reviews cite issues like expired food, cold/unprepared items, poor cleanliness, and inconsistent service. Some mention long wait times or limited early-morning selections. While most customers enjoy the food quality and staff, recurring complaints about freshness, value, and operational reliability stand out. A few 3-4 star reviews acknowledge good food but note minor drawbacks. Overall, it’s a popular spot with strong loyalty but needs consistency in service and product quality.

Customer Reviews

went in at 530a. apparently, from reading other reviews, i must have got the asian lady BEFORE she woke up. there was another young lady who got my donut order together for me (she was very nice) and gave it to the asian lady. funny how I know who you all are talking about. anyhow, i had two orders to ring out. she rung them up together and i asked her again to do it separately. she did it begrudgingly but no hassle. like i said, had she been more awake she probably would have bit my head off. you wor

My daughter wanted donuts & kolaches this morning but I didn't want to pay a fortune at Shipley's so I googled this place. I looked at their online menu that looked way cheaper and sent my husband to pick it up. However the prices online were a little more in person. Regardless I did save a couple of dollars, the donuts were ok but the sausage kolaches were delicious!

ZERO STARS. Aside from being overpriced, this place needs to learn a little about customer service. These people are extremely rude. Today there was a tray of donut holes sitting OUT ON THE COUNTER (NOT behind the glass,) and seeing as it was 11:45 am, my wife assumed they were extras put out for customers. *Some places do that, you know? Esp when it?s getting later in the morning. The woman that was working ripped into my wife when she helped herself to one while waiting for our order. Good grief. This was

This place has a oriental/Asian woman who works the cashier seems like every day and she has the worst attitude ever???? Ridiculously NASTY???? She doesn't speak, rolls her eyes at the customer and throws their change to them. I have gone quite often for the past 2 years because my client gets therapy next door and she is overly rude??????

Wanted donuts this morning so I came to the ol reliable. Though they DO have new owners and the Pricing is not reflected on their online menu. It is $10 and some change for a dozen glazed donuts. Despite this surprise the lady at the window was very nice and accommodating. When this price discrepancy was mentioned to the owner it seemed like it has been brought to their attention before. I suppose they don't have the login credentials to change it I'm not sure. Either way, consistent product, inconsistent p

The falicity was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were very friendly. The Jalape?o kolachea's with cheese were delicious!! ??

I don't know what it is, but they're doughnuts beat everyone else's including Shipley's and Krispy Kreme! Their doughnut holes are amazing ??

Thank u so much for freshly donuts. Try some of their donuts. So delicious!

Food is good, but the asian lady is extremely rude.

I like the food here, but I was sold expired milk. Thats my bad for not looking but, besides that, y?all should not have milk 4 days past best by date. Unacceptable.

Over priced and no quality. 2 breakfast tacos cost $9+ and they?re just prewrapped eggs with meat in a tortilla. Nothing special. Take your money and appetite down the road. There?s a lot of better options in this neighborhood with better prices.

I lost some money there this morning and when I went back to ask the lady she didn?t even know what to say and when I ask to see cameras she was like we don?t have cameras but when I pointed to the cameras right away she said oooo they don?t work but yet you can see the lights on

I was trying to figure out why the coffee taste like water first thing in the morning.. However I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried them again and the coffee was cold at 6am. Reason being is because they are heating up old coffee.

I got there at 6.15 and was told donuts would be ready in 30 minutes. If you open an hour later than every other donut shop in Richmond donuts should be ready. The man working inside took the front parking spot for himself his white lifted ford truck . in front of the door . I paid almost 9 dollars for 3 burnt kolaches. I wont be back . I know everyone has a bad day but come on .

My family and I have been going to Fort Bend Doughnuts for more than 10 years or so . Different owners come and go like every year or so. The current owners must be having some financial hard times ...idk ? All I know is lately I have been getting day old or more than 1 day old dounuts. I go almost everydayaround 9:45 or 10 am and they have very little doughnuts to choose from . I am sad because this has been consistentand not in a good way . I will take my bussiness elsewhere. .

People were nice nice but the donuts and kolaches we got seemed stale. The plain glazed donuts were honestly pretty bad, similar taste a texture to Walmart donuts. The kolaches were kind of hard and the sausage was dry.

I generally go through the drive thru. They are very friendly and the donuts are yum. We occasionally get the kolache they are really good too. The drive thru can get a bit long, but it's usually not too bad

Great customer service! Love stopping here and getting my kids their donuts with chocolate milk. Drive threw so you don?t even have to get everyone down. But when I do decide to get down I get good vibes.

I went to the store yesterday and the sign says closed at 1pm, and they were closed so early at 12:40. I saw little kids in there too, your workplace isn?t a daycare! Bad for business, owner needs to do better or don?t run a business! So sad and disappointed.

I order with UberEats and they go above and beyond and call me with any possible substitutes. Will order again!

The kolaches here are really good! They have a sweeter breading around them. The donuts are not over the top, but they are probably close to that of Shipleys but with a lower cost. The breakfast sandwhiches are a little better than most other places.

Nice staff but, this will be my last time visiting this place. You don't get your money worth, proportion is small for the asking prices and sometimes the food is not fresh and is served cold.

Last couple of times, the kolaches have tasted weird. Plus the cashier lady is constantly giving me the wrong order or giving me ridiculously sweet cappuccinos. Switching donut shops soon

The customer service was great and friendly too! The donuts were fresh and flavorful! A delightful treat to start the day.

Great food and service. Owners are super friendly and care about their products and what you like. Try the boudin kolaches!

My grandkids and I go every morning for there sausage and egg biscuits and Kolaches...they like them so much... Can't forget there coffee...I don't care we're I go...I have to get y'all's coffee it's so so delicious!!!Keep up the good work yall!!! I'll be there in a minute for my coffee.. ??

The kolache dough is delicious, but the ham & cheese wasn't distributed properly inside. Drive through is the way to go here. Floors are dirty and they play loud hip hop music is loud & at times offensive.

Service use to be really good now not so much recommend trying another shop 5:30 suppose to open... can't no cashier wait til 6:00 ....6:00 comes around no doughnuts and very limited kolaches never again.

Best food. But I'm tying to figure out why i was charged 11 bucks on my card when she said 9 AND my receipt says 9. I've been trying to call since yesterday. Unacceptable

Donuts were good as far as donuts are concerned. Croissant sandwich was really good, customer service was best!

Best sausage kolaches is town by far, get the country sausage and stay away from the cheaper hot dog type kolaches. Their glazed doughnut and donut holes also give Shipley's a run for their money. Just wish they made traditional fruit kolaches, guess I'll have to jeep driving to East Barnard, Wharton, or Sealy for those treats.

You can always come here for friendly service and a great selection of kolaches and doughnuts , coffee and other drinks .

Really good kolaches and tacos. Donuts are good too taste like Shipleys dough is used.

I ordered $47 worth of tacos and donuts for work. They did NOT EVEN WARM THE TACOS. WTH. They were cold, cold. Never again.

I love their donuts Celeste and a chocolate milk doctor Mel everything is good there

This is the only place I'll go to for breakfast. The service is wonderful. I Love the staff. Best place to go to!!

Ham and cheese kolache was good, not great. I got the cappuccino and it was decent for a drive thru.. Oh they have a drive thru

Next time I?ll add photos but I can tell you that their donuts are really good.

Good donuts and kolaches the staff is nice and the prices are great you cant go wrong

Ordered 2 different type of kolaches and a taco. The kolaches were undercooked. Avoid if you can.

This is a hidden gem! The food was good and the price was right. I will defiantly be going back.

Donuts are mediocre, kolachi with very little cheese and they are always out of milk. Only go there because its the only donut place around.

Really good breakfast location. Short wait times for oreders.

Used to come all the time when I lived over in this side of town. Everything is very tasty.

This place use to be my kids favorite donut shop but the old family must have sold it..Donuts and service are not the same..
