What an amazing company ? and I don?t just mean donuts !!!! In a world where customer service has become a thing of the past, ARIANNA and NATALIE made the world a bit better today! I?ve interacted with both many times the last few weeks placing a larger order for a client and they have been above and beyond every step of the way!! A unique valentine gift was enjoyed by MANY today and I had fun introducing so many new people to their UNBELIEVABLE donuts. Think a croissant and a donut had a baby? with all
Many highly touted donut shops have been disappointing me lately. Their instagrammable donuts are works of art, but turn out to be excessively doughy, dry, and devoid of enough filling. But I?m happy to say that FIVE DAUGHTERS breaks this trend! Their donuts are delicious! They basically serve multi-textured hybrid ?cronuts? that are extremely flaky, light, fresh, and very flavorful. We very much enjoyed the Maple Glaze, Hot Chocolate, White Chocolate Raspberry, Cinnamon Cream Cheese, and Purist flavor
Unbelievably Delicious! Our office received a box of donuts from Five Daughters Bakery, courtesy of one of our referral doctors, and I have to say ? these are not just donuts; they are a whole experience! I?ve had donuts before, but nothing compares to these. They truly supersede any donut I?ve ever tried. Each bite is like a little piece of heaven ? soft, flavorful, and made with so much love that it?s palpable. They literally melt in your mouth, and once you start, it?s impossible to stop. Whether you?re
Hands down my favorite doughnuts in Atlanta! Some flavors do rotate and I?ve never had a bad one. Blueberry lemon as well as the classic 100 layer vanilla glaze are two of my favorites, but you can?t go wrong with any. I?ve been coming here for years and recommend this above any other local doughnut shop to everyone I can. Pro tip: go early so you can take advantage of the free 15 minute parking up front.
I bought some of the mini donuts which were adorable to look at. I had the Oreo flavored donut and the filling was really good. They were a little on the dry side but it might have been the time of day I bought them? If you like a more light, flakier donut, than this donut shop is a must try.
Heard about the Cronuts and had to try them. OMG, grab some while they are fresh. My family had a variety, but the basic glaze is my favorite.
If you?re a big fan of donuts I?d say give it a try. They don?t serve them warm, but I thought it tasted better after taking it home and warming it up. I liked the 100 layer ones better than the classic yeast donuts personally. The flavors were good, they were just kinda cold and hard when served. I?d go back to try more flavors though, maybe if they had a strawberry option that would be good! Overall didn?t blow my mind, but they were pretty good.
cuteeeeeee! ?? This little bakery is the cutest with the most unique deserts I?ve had the pleasure of experiencing, so the 100 layer is a 100+ layer croissant that they then, flavor & top like cupcakes ! Some have surprises in the middles like creaammm . ?? Thank you, Kaylee for being so kind & explaining to me what they were (I was curiously confused ?? ?? ) but man they don?t disappoint. It?s good! The lemon flavor is what I have from their summer flavors. Yummy.
A friend told me that her favorite donut spot is Five Daughters so I had to check it out. The website notes that they sell croissant style hundred layer donuts. It also notes that the croissant donuts are made fresh every day. This shop is located in Westside Provision. If you see flower child, you need to walk to the stairs in the area and you should run into it on your left. If you are only visiting this spot, there are several 10 min parking spots in front of the shop. I arrived about 15 minutes p
Cronuts from Five Daughters Bakery are one of the most delicious pastries ever - combining the best parts of a donut and a croissant. The girl at the counter was super cheerful and helpful and the location is in a trendy area where you can walk and shop and eat. It is just a small shop so there is no indoor seating but there a few shaded outdoor tables in the breezeway where the shop is located.
O.M.G. It is mind blowing that Five Daughters Bakery isn?t listed as the best donuts in Georgia. Granted, I haven?t tried all Georgia has to offer in terms of donuts, but these are BY FAR the best that I have tried. It can be kind of tricky to find. It?s in the Westside Provisions District, right before or right after crossing the bridge over the railroad, depending on which side you?re coming from. Here are the donuts we tried, ranked in order of preference: - Chocolate Sea Salt - Purist - Maple Glazed
So it?s great. The texture of the pastry is delightful and it tastes reaaaally good. But the toppings are too fatty, and there?s too much. I would love to just have endless plain cinnamon sugar donuts from here with a tall glass of whole milk.
The Lemon donut is the best donut i had from here. I used to think carrot cake, or berry/lemon was my favorote. Naw this lemon one will be a staple ever time they make it unless I'm dieting. Trying to shrink my back ??
Went here with my friends from Georgia Tech, they have one of the best doughnuts you can find around the area. My favourite one is the blueberry lavender flavour, it has an amazing blueberry jam filling inside it and it?s just perfect combination of sweetness and slight acidity.
Such a cute spot! I got the brownie batter and cinnamon cream cheese which are both Super tasty! Todays the last day to get the brownie batter! I love these croissants doughnuts so much. It?s a great light treat. ALSO great service! The ladies were so sweet to us!
I?ve tried 6 pieces and all of them blew me away, because of the flavor balance. I mean, none of them were too sweet, or too bland. My favorite one was the Vietnamese coffee and the Blueberry Lemon (both 100-layer). It seems to be a regional chain, but what?s the matter if they are worth it flavor wise? GO TRY THEM!
Five daughters Donuts are the best I?ve ever had! I get them instead of a birthday cake now. The Cuban Cold brew and Lemon ice box are my favorites!
Location- Terrible and hard to find / tucked away and you have to pay to park so if you?re not there after dinner, expect to pay at least $6 parking. Donuts- The texture of the donuts are okay/ I tried 2 types: 1 was croissant style and 1 was more bready like Dunkin Donuts. They used ?Butter Cream? as icing. However- the ?butter cream? is NOT buttercream frosting. Its LITERALLY whipped BUTTER with a sprinkle of sugar. Imagine taking a BIG bite of WHIPPED Butter- I gagged and spit it out immediately. I lit
Shoutout to Natalie who has great customer service and a warmth about her. VEGAN DONUTS!!! Parking is a bit tricky. Limited street parking but a structure nearby. 5 daughters is a hole in the wall on the second level. Very small sign visible.
Showed up at 9am to get the first donut and wasn?t open yet. Waited 25mins and still no sign of life so had to give up. I love the donuts but if they can?t open on time I?m not coming back. Super unprofessional. Image is of my watch when I gave up standing at the desk. I can see the trays of donuts waiting to be sold.
Amazing donuts and the best part is they have vegan options! They switch out the flavors every month but I?ve had quite a few flavors from here. Vegan cinnamon, strawberry, guava, and huckleberry just to name a few??
You cant go wrong with any cronut here????, the basic donuts were so doughy and chewy especially the maple quinnamon which i don?t like. Vanilla cream cronut is the best seller but i preferred the plain sugar cinnamon as it wasn?t too sweet.
I placed an order for one paleo and one quinnamon through Uber eats. Instead of taking 30 seconds to call me and let me know that they would only be sending half of my order, they sent a partial order to my door with a handwritten note on the receipt stating that I had been ?refunded?. Of course I had not been refunded and I had to go through Uber eats to get a refund for the missing item. MIND YOU Uber eats gives merchants the ability to mark items as out of stock on the app. Unbelievably ghetto.
Hands-down, one of the best donut shops in Atlanta. I tried the ponce location a few days ago and now this location consistency is there. This was a cinnamon roll orange glaze piece of heaven.
We enjoy getting a box a donuts here because they taste amazing every time. The donuts are also beautiful to look at in those few seconds before sinking your teeth in it.
I got the Vegan Apple Fritter and it was soo good. The texture of it is almost like a crispy croissant. I do say tho, it was very oily on the bottom of it :# The customer service was great! :)
Today's visit was a lot less magical than the last. Great service and great product really go hand in hand for me. The doughnuts were good, although purchased reluctantly. I was introducing someone else to the place and they wanted to stay. But when I mention a fly on the displays and it's not a big deal to the Salesperson, not even a thank you, I'm turned off.
So gooood! I really tasty flavors and I love the packaging especially with the Christian Bible verse on the box. 10/10 would recommend!!!!
I have been here multiple times. These donuts are absolutely delicious! My sister and I look forward to the monthly flavors. Staff is always polite and friendly.
Visually exciting walkable, expensive, area. Excellent service, friendly and welcoming as can be. My children loved these doughnuts. They were delicious and unique, made with croissant dough. Ultimately, far too sweet for me- but because they were also addictive, especially the ones with filling- YUM! Looking forward to trying more! This is not a sit down eatery, though there are benches all around outside.
Delicious treats for every morning. Their flavors changed often and sometimes the doughnuts are a little too sweet for me, but my favorite is the Orange Quinnamon.
I went here for the vegan donuts, and I was thoroughly impressed. They were the best I've ever had. Particularly noteworthy was the apple fritter donut... a big, glorious fried donut with little chunks of cooked apple inside, cinnamon and sugar, icing drizzled on top. If anything, the donuts were too good. ????
This is a must go to place!!! Soooooo delicious! I was unsure what the texture of the dough was going to be like but it was so light, flaky, and perfectly cooked. They are not overly sweet, they are the best!
I appreciate that they have vegan options that are amazing! Their layer donuts have always been a hit with people that I bring but I have never personally had them hopefully one day they can make them begin hopefully one day they can make them vegan
Donuts tasted decent, but over $6 for a donut is overpriced. Also the lady who gave me the parking validation placed the sticker right over my original ticket barcode so it could not be verified when I was at the parking exit ticket machine! Please teach your employees where to place the parking validation sticker on the parking ticket
When passing through the location at the Factory in Franklin, TN, I was excited to learn about locations in Atlanta. This hidden gem is tucked away around Westside Provisions where the juice shop used to be.
Donuts were quite amazing?and I?ve eaten quite a few donuts in my day. Staff were very nice. Will be coming back for more
A little tricky to find, but sooo worth the hunt. Their seasonal flavors were buttery, flaky and perfectly egg noggy.. the filling and glazes are not too sweet and go great with hot cup of tea or coffee in the am. They are even good then next day (if they last that long)
Came all the way from Alabama just for them to be sold out before their closing hours!! Very disappointed!! Had to turn around and drive back over 2 hrs home with nothing to show for the long trip!
Delicious baked goods, especially the doughnuts! I'll never get tired of their maple glaze. They have a lovely airy layering to them inside. Highly recommend!
I?m not a donut person because I find them pretty underwhelming, but about once a year I really want donuts and this time I went here. The donuts are flaky like Cronuts (croissant-donuts) and the flavors I got where all phenomenal: vanilla cream, blueberry lavender, cinnamon crunch, and maple. Absolutely the best donuts I?ve ever had in my entire life. Definitely well worth driving through the hell scape that is midtown Atlanta on a Saturday with good weather.
My favorite doughnuts! I make sure to stop by when I am in Atlanta or Nashville. This location is great and the customer service is always wonderful! Try the snow cap cookie if they have any left?very popular.
The guy at the counter couldn't have been less enthusiastic about being there. I explained it was my first time and I may need a second. He reluctantly told me the difference between the types of donuts and glared at me for 30 seconds while I made my selections. After paying $30 for a half dozen of donuts (which is outrageous) we expected these to be the best donuts ever! They, unfortunately, were not. Pretty much all 6 tasted stale, yes, the day I bought them....not several days later. The plain glazed one
Lyndee is a gem!! If I could give her 10 stars, I would! She really took her time providing great customer service & helping me make a selection. Actually more selections than I came in for but it was well worth it. Thanks again Lyndee
Five Daughters Bakery is a paradise for pastry enthusiasts, and my recent visit was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked treats and the warm smiles of the staff, promising a culinary adventure like no other. Let's start with the stars of the show: the King Kong, the Maple Glaze, and the Maple Quinnamon. Each pastry is a work of art, meticulously crafted with care and attention to detail. The King Kong, rolled in sugar and i
Not sure why Five Daughters doesn?t have *at least* 4.5 stars. I?m convinced it?s the best donut shop in Atlanta. A lot of people comment on not liking the heavy frosting/sweetness but personally frosting will make or break a donut for me, and theirs makes the donut 10x better. To me the frosting:donut ratio is immaculate, but if it?s too much for you maybe just try scraping some off!
the cronuts are on par with dominique ansel, the flavors change at a very regular pace, most of which are excellent. blueberry lemon was my all time favorite so far. I wish they weren?t so close to my home since it?s dangerous. my only saving grace is that they sell out of the best ones by 2 or earlier, or i?d really be in trouble
So cute! And the pastry I got (blueberry glaze on top) was SO DELICIOUS. Glad I decided to buy a to go dessert. Very unique pastries.
Employee was lethargic, on her phone the whole time I was at the window, never made eye contact with me, answered my questions wrong (I asked, ?Are the infused donuts filled with something, or is the flavor mixed in the dough?? She said, ?They?re filled. Infused means filled.? First off actually it doesn?t, and second, they were not filled, it was in fact a flavor mixed in the dough.) I also asked if the 100 layer donuts were soft or crispy and she said ?They?re made with croissant dough,? and since she did
Picked up two specialty donuts. Expensive-$4.50?/each. But, aren?t they all expensive? If you?re the kind of person that can only eat your Krispy Kreme when they?re coming out hot, this place is for you because they are that good! Light, fluffy, melt in your mouth, and all kind of wild flavors. Got to get the one that has like 12 different layers. Crazy good! Indulge.
Flakey and rich donuts! As a donut lover I could only eat half at once due to their richness. Fun flavors available!
These donuts are absolutely AMAZING. They are not cheap but if you want to treat yourself to a dessert that'll bring a smile to your face... The 100 layer donuts are the perfect choice. The flavor is amazing, the texture is just perfect, and you just that's to try it for yourself!
First time here, tried raspberry, blueberry lemon, and salted carmel donuts, as well as a quinnamon. The quinnamon was good but the donuts were fabulous, all 3 of them, even considering I wouldn't have chosen all those flavors for myself. Loved, loved, loved the dough with the little bit of crisp to the edges and soft chewiness inside. If they had this place within an hour of my house, I would be in trouble.
Stopped by here for the first time yesterday after following on Instagram for a while and seeing them on the news for National Donut Day. We got a chocolate chip cookie, a chocolate eclair 100 layer donut and a strawberry shortcake 100 layer donut. The cookie was delicious and had tons of chocolate chips in it. The donuts, however, lacked flavor, were very, very greasy, and they were tough. I was disappointed after seeing all the hype about this donut shop. I'm not sure how they do things here but honestly
So happy i was finally able to try them. They were delicious !
Really delicious croissant donuts! They were very sweet. They melt in your mouth. I?d definitely go for the more simple donuts since the toppings and even more sweetness.
Zero customer service. I came in today to experience the holiday special they were offering my company. It would?ve been my first time trying their products and I planned on purchasing a few additional items. The person working was hidden looking at the their phone. I almost thought they were closed. I was told ?we don?t have any? and that was it, back to the phone. I tried to engage them in a bit of conversation to see if there was anything else that could be suggested. Nothing. I decided against making an
The place is nice enough with easy parking on a week day. One of my cronuts was good. It was light and flaky and buttery. The other seemed like it had been overproofed or maybe the oil temperature was too low. It was heavy and oily all the way through. There was no crispness to the pastry and the pastry cream seemed a bit off texture wise. A bit disappointing for the price if you are going to charge over 4 dollars for a doughnut each one should be perfect.
Cutest donut stand ever. I love the uniqueness of the donut flavors. Huckleberry was like a homemade berry glaze on a pancake type donut. Best kept secret.
The donuts are quality (basically a fried croissant) and service here is great. I had a guava mascarpone donut, and while it was good, and it didn?t have as much flavor as I was expecting. For $5 a donut, the price feels a bit steep.
THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST DESSERT IVE TASTED EVER IN MY LIFE! The buttery flakey layers, the creaminess! WOWOW!!! I want this in Dunwoody! If go weekly! Listen what you heard is true! This is the most flavorful delicious donut you will ever experience! So far ive had the vanilla and the guava and they are exceptional!!!!!!! Cant wait to try the rest! Also service and curbside were impeccable today! LOVE THIS PLACE
This place does not make fresh donuts they a shipped in from Nashville each day they a cold. I got up early on Sunday waited for them to open and was disappointed the taste was not greasy taste stuck to the top of my mouth. I got home a put them I the microwave and they taste better.
I love the donuts at Five Daughters so much that I chose them for my birthday instead of a cake. Their fruity options are my favorites, namely the huckleberry glazed and triple raspberry, but my husband insists his chocolate picks are better. Hard to go wrong!
Love me some 5 daughters. Ariana was super nice as always.
I have been here many times and the vanilla creme pastry is better than a donut. When I visit Atlanta again, I will be back, great little place tucked away in Westside Provisions Village. Very quaint and great place to walk my dog.
My husband and I were in Atlanta for the day and checked if this location was open before we drove there from another part of the city. We arrived two hours before closing and they had already closed. No sign, google and their socials said they were open until 6:00pm. Disappointed, but luckily Jenni?s was open and we enjoyed delicious ice cream so our trip wasn?t a total waste to the area. If you also are greeted with false operating hours, stay around the area because businesses that do want to offer their
Picked up a bacon cronut from their pick up window, while exploring all the stores in this area - it was expensive, ($5+!) but delicious!
This bakery was on my bucket list. I was kinda disappointed. The cream was heavy and oily and the donuts dry. I think if you want to try five daughters go to nashville where they bake them fresh . I hear they are shipped in here and they just look pretty . Would not go to ATL five daughters again.
My husband and I really love donuts so decided to try a new place we got there the young lady at the counter was completely rude. She didn't even acknowledge us didn't want to help us and then when we placed our order it's like we were inconvenienced because she just wanted to be on her phone the donut wasn't even worth the hype nor the price never go back. I wish I could give it 0 stars.
I am so addicted. Whenever I am on that side of the town, it is a must get. I love their monthly changing recipes because every time I go, I get to try something new. They are flakey and tasty. It is my donut recommendation for people looking for donuts.
First time guest and I visit again very soon. I would recommend others give them a try! Very tasty. I tried the mini strawberry shortcake and the mini cinnamon sugar toast.
Keep hiring people like Natalie. I had an expedited order that she was able to guide me through and everyone loved. I will be ordering here again
Freaking LOVE this place. I am so glad they have opened a second location. Their first one is in Ponce City Market and parking there is kind of hectic if you want to just grab cronuts to go, so this location makes it perfect! I wish I could eat them everyday but my body does not need all those calories.
I was so excited to finally find a place that I could get a gluten free doughnut. After five years of not being able to eat doghnuts. What I got was soft and moist so not gritty or anything but it's certainly not a doughnut. They are cakes. Good if your expecting a cake. Not very sweet. But definitely nowhere near a doughnut. I run my own bakery and make both gluten free and wheat containing desserts. I haven't tackled doghnuts yet but it was just a let down to be thinking I was buying a doughnut and gettin
They have vegan options. This is my favorite donut place in Atlanta.
They are rude to black people. I visited this place 2 days in a row to pick up Uber eats. Both days I received the same rude service. I watched their interaction with the white people in line in front of me and it was much more pleasant. I approached the counter, said hello and asked for the order. The worker picked up the order and despite the fact that I had my hand held out, he ignored it and placed the box on the counter. The previous day was the exact same from the same guy. There was also a girl there
Visited the Howell Mill location. Ordered a dozen assortment. Came out to $60. Prices are fair for what you get. Everyone loved the donuts! I will visit again soon.
Very tasty and fancy donut or should I say cronut! I tried the Maple, Blueberry, and Original and they all tasted good! It is super sweet so must have coffee with it or milk!
Doughnut lover, but this ain't it bro. Doesnt event taste like a doughnut, tastes like just rye bread with stuffing. Boston cream isnt even cream. Cream was freakin seperating. Chocolate tastes dark but without any sweetness of the chocolate. The dough rose too much, making it too chewy or airy. Outside crust is not soft, instead really oily and papery. Did they even put sugar in the doughnut jeez. Undeserving to be called a doughnut. Five daughters just pimping them as doughnuts. If u want a doughtmut, go
I do not like chain or fast food donuts and prefer vegan ingredients, so I love this bakery and order from here often.
Outstanding specialty donuts like nothing else you've ever tried. Pricey but worth the indulgence. The vanilla creme one is incredible
One of the best vegan donuts I?ve had! ??
Wonderful donuts in a unique location.
Customer service is amazing people here are amazing and donuts are amazing
I LOVE FIVE DAUGHTERS! Their donuts are a revelation of indulgence! SO DELICIOUS! Docking one star because a few times they were not open when they were supposed to be.
Natalie was super helpful. She gave me great service while also giving great recommendations! Her knowledge on the donuts was amazing!
Niche service counter style on a nice afternoon and a friendly male staff member (didn?t catch his name unfortunately) made for a lovely experience with my significant other. Oh, and the donuts are fantastic, as always is with 5D.
Love love love. The vegan donuts are amazing. The employee that took my order was so sweet. And this is such a fun area/location.
