I love Ferlo?s donuts! They are in my top three of the best donuts I?ve had. The plain cake donut with maple frosting with chocolate drizzle is my favorite followed by a close second of the plain cake donut with chocolate frosting. Breads and rolls are outstanding. The smart repeat customer looks to the left immediately when they walk in to see what?s on the discount shelving. Deep discounts on day old products is appreciated. They use to have great tomato pie . Picked up some the other day and it had so much garlic i threw the rest away after I had one slice . Then they have so much grated cheese in the slices . Don't know why place feel they have to change recipes after years and years. If you love Garlic then the tomato pie is for you .

Ferlo's has been around for so long I couldn't possibly say anything that hasn't been said before. This was my first visit. Service was excellent. The person behind the counter took the time to tell me the numerous donut/desert options they have. I walked out with a couple turnovers and a couple donuts. Everything was fantastic. I'm upset with myself for not stopping in sooner.

The service is spot on. From the moment I walk in till the time I leave i feel like the only customer. The food and bread and pastry so fresh. Without the feeling of paying overpriced items. I truly see how they have been in business for decades.

Great family owned business, best bread, wonderful donuts, friendly staff. A staple of Rome NY. If you dont go, you miss out on a great experience ! Old world charm, love this bakery!

They make all sorts of breads and pastries and many other baked goods. Their price is fair, when you want fresh baked goods this is the place to go in Rome, NY (CNY)

Prices are reasonable, products are always fresh, polite staff and I'm always in and out quickly. Only negative thing i can say is the place could be a little cleaner.

Great bread, but the raspberry filled cookies can NoT be beat! Not a place to sit and socialize but quick and easy pickup.

Best little Italian bakery and great tomato pie!

Went for first time, wanted to look around. Young blonde at the register was RUDE. Acting like we were holding her up when nobody else was even inside. We had to giggle that she had a tip container... good luck with that! That type of service will keep us from ever going back.

Any time I go in to Ferlo?s I am greeted warmly and afford assistance right away. All of the baked goods are so delicious especially the tomato pie. I have had opportunities to have this type of pie from others but this has been the best. Many blessings to each person that works there.

Whenever we are in Rome, we make it a point to swing by here. The tomato pie is simply to die for! A classic old school bakery that hasn't changed its way of doing things in probably 50 years. And thank God for that.

Great bread and nice little bakery full of customers means something for sure!!!! Fresh bread smell as soon as you walk in nice donuts too and prices lower than any bakery i went to in area !!!! Local construction guys came in to eat on their lunch the whole sight gives it a welcome feel great job girls !!!!

It's amazing !!!Fresh baked bread, rolls, and pastries, donuts and oh yes don't forget they also have fresh pizza pie !! All I can say is when you walk through the door it's like walking into heaven. The aroma of fresh baked goods just takes me right back to being back at my grandma's kitchen ???????? !!

When Enron I always try to make a trip to Ferlo's bakery..... Italian bread rolls of all different kinds cookies and more desserts. Just a great place to stop in and grab something for the way home...... A great little italian bakery.....

Ferlo's is ,bar none, the greatest bakery around. Everything is delicious and fresh, but most importantly Dave and Carmen and the staff are a very caring group. I love their bread and donuts. However, on the phone the lady was very rude when I was trying to explain the type of bread I wanted. There was another lady in the background who was actually even ruder. I don?t think she knew I could hear her. It?s a shame because it?s a really good bakery, just rude employees.

A bit on the pricey side even if the donuts are good. Check your order before you go to be sure that it's correct. A lemon pustie is disgusting especially when you anticipate the vanilla one you ordered. The tomato pie has enough garlic in the sauce to ward off vampires from miles away. Couldn't eat it and gave it to my sister who tried it and gave it to her son. A well known bakery in Utica has tomato pie that is worth the trip from Rome.

The best Italian bakery in Rome, ny and surrounding areas. I volunteer here almost every night making donutes and it's a great business, very popular and very busy taking and filling orders that they get done in time and delivers when said. All around a wonderful family owned business.

Visiting - saw them on trip advisor, and they don't disappoint! Had a chocolate & blueberry cake donuts and have never had such a light/airy cake donut. Excellent!!!!

Just move to Bernhards Bay a year ago. Was looking for a great bakery. Found this one in Rome NY . They make blueberry turnovers and let me tell you , the best I ever had. It?s a little drive from we?re I live, but it?s worth the gas.

Never been there, salesman, talked like a cater, just describing the selections , just as an owner/operator, $ 1.00 day old. And if you walk in, there's a warning to be had ! Old time bread backing ovens, bring a small container of ??, butter. Yes don't let these places pass on.

Ferlo's has some of the best donuts I've ever had. Their cherry chip donut is absolutely incredible. Soooooo much better than national chain donut shops.

We were coming back from old Forge and were debating whether to drive to utica for tomato pie, when we looked up Rome tomato pie locations and ferlos came up. We arrived and instead of getting a couple of slices we ordered and 1/8 of a sheet. At first we didn't know what to do with an 1/8th of a sheet and now I am thinking why did we only get 1/8th of a sheet! I could smell the fresh garlic in the sauce as soon as I opened the box. Fresh pizza crust, fresh sauce, very delicious!!! I'm thankful for not wanti

Went here for the first time Saturday morning for small sub rolls and 6 donuts.. The lady that helped us was very rude, plus I was charged $9 for 4 small rolls! We will not be going back!!
