A solid experience from my perspective. I probably benefited from their being a local chain as I needed a place that opened before 8am, and most other coffee/doughnut shops within walking distance (I?m game to walk fairly far) didn?t open until 8 on Sundays. The wait was short, and the staff were very nice to my drowsy self. I got the chocolate truffle and s?mores donuts with a 12oz mocha and all of it was money well spent. I?ll likely return during the remainder of my time here.

I?ve been meaning to try this place for a very long time and it certainly did not disappoint. I decided to try the hot and fresh variety for my first go since it was freezing outside on my walk here. Def a good decision. The donuts were so warm and fresh they were absolutely delicious. My appetite only allowed my try the Cinnamon and Cookies and Cream this time, but I will absolutely be back to try some more varieties asap.

This place is just what you expect from a Federal Donuts, but now in a new convenient location at Market East! There's tables for outdoor dining and it's also close to the general Market East outdoor area. Today I tried the Cookies and Cream donut and it tasted like a fried oreo. Would recommend!

I?ve been craving donuts for a while and I was in the area so I just decided why not. I?m grateful for the person who took my order because I didn?t know which one I wanted and I just took so long to order. Greedy ole me went for the half dozen lol. I always have an amazing time and get phenomenal food here. While they are known for their donuts, the thing that brings him back time after time is the amazing customer service I received. They are always so nice and helpful. I highly recommend their seasonal donuts. in addition, there?s zataar hashbrowns are their sleeper hit. I look forward to eating here again soon.

Stopped by and grabbed a coffee and donut so that we could also rest before continuing a walk to lunch. Located close to Reading Terminal Market (about 2 blocks away). Has a decent amount of seating and it's air conditioned. The Raspberry Ginger Donut was good and not too sweet. The raspberry glaze was actually more on the tart side. Good with an iced coffee.

The food is super salty. I have sensitivity to salt and thought it was just me. My GF said it was salty also which basically tells me if I?m over reacting or it truly is bad. Also never trying this type of food from this location the wings were maybe over cooked or it?s just a different style than what I?m used to. Meat was good crust was way way too crunchy and over cooked. Service was perfect no complaints to staff.

I don't know where the 4.4 stars came from but I suspect the family and friends these people are some real fruit cakes the young woman that works at this location came outside at the patio table with a raunchy attitude wipes the table and pushes crumbs into my lap rolls her eyes and goes back inside some guy comes out later I find out that he's the manager with a careless attitude totally unprofessional people we shouldn't put up with this type of behavior don't let these people with these behavior problems

This review is for the breakfast sandwich. It was the weirdest, most unpleasant thing I ever had. Service was great and friendly but that breakfast sandwich should be evicted from the menu. The texture is weird. The flavor is weird. Doesn?t reflect well on the quality of the other products.

Very good chicken sandwich and donuts. They were conveniently located within our Canopy by Hilton hotel in downtown Philadelphia. The door to the restaurant was accessible through the lobby and we didn?t even have to go outside. This was a cheaper option as the breakfast was very expensive. The prices were very reasonable for being in downtown. I would definitely recommend.

Wildly overrated. I was told I must try their donuts when I moved here. My partner and I bought an assorted dozen to share and threw all but one away. We were so shocked by the disconnect between the way everyone raves about this place and how mediocre it is. Are there no good cake donuts in this city?

The fried wings here are a must. Although I much preferred ( my favorite choice) the Chili Garlic sauce when it was prepared on the wings as opposed to being a dipping sauce. Anyway, the lunched was topped off with an absolutely scrumptious strawberry glazed donut.

The hours on the door state they open at 7:00 am. However, they were not open at 7:10. The staff member in the store refused to open the door to speak w me and just kept motioning to me- really unhelpful. I made this stop despite the weather. I like federal, but unlikely to visit any time soon bc they are clearly not open during my commuting hours. You can't positively review a shop when you can't eat what you can't buy during normal posted business hours.

I finally made it here! I ended up getting six donuts (Strawberry Lavender, Cookies and Cream, and Cinnamon), as well as a fried chicken sammich, a maple cardamom donut, and a caramel pecan bun donut. None of it disappointed me or my friends at all. We'll all be down there again this week for more!

I'm usually not a fan of donuts but, the warm honey donut here.......babyyyyyyyy it is so good! I also love the chicken sandwich and the buttermilk ranch fried chicken. You won't be disappointed.

This location closes at 6 pm and they were already out of wings at 2:45 pm. I was extremely disappointed especially because of the fact that I was in the mood for wings. I was hungry after arriving into Philly via Amtrak and didn't feel like venturing elsewhere for food so I opted for their chicken sandwich, $8 ($9.50 with tax). I opened the wrapper and the sandwich was so small, the bun was cold as if they just pulled it out of the fridge and the American cheese wasn't even melted. Seriously a waste of alm
