Fat Straws Boba & Mochi Donuts (Arlington)

The COLORS amazed me! ?? This place was so fun to walk into! The staff was warm and welcoming, even though it was late evening. They have an assortment of delicious teas, drinks, and smoothies! I can?t wait to come back and try more on the menu. Because it was late evening, they had run out of the strawberry mochi donut, which I truly wanted. (Insert sad face) I was the only patron inside, I will visit again soon!

I had a great time at fat straws. There's a whole variety of shakes, smoothies, and Boba. It's my new favorite place to go to. I noticed there's not a lot of food on the menu, but they do have donuts, and it's a wide variety of them. With different flavors. And they are made with mochi. They taste sweet and chewy. It melts in your mouth. I highly recommend coming here.

I?ve tried so hard with this location. Like so many times, I?ve ended up here. I got a strawberry swirl and got a cream swirl with a hint of strawberry. It happens every single time. I even love cream but golly geez I don?t want to drink it. I especially strongly dislike the way one guy makes it. I?m mad every time I leave. Idk maybe it?s just this location.

Great selections of bubble tea. The brown sugar is very delicious and their fruit teas are just perfect. You do have the option of not wanting to sweetness in your teas. The staff was helpful. If I'm in the area I'll visit this place again.

I went through the drive through. The lady was nice but I don't appreciate how she tipped herself. The total was $24 somethings. I gave her my card and she inserted it and just turned the machine for me to see how I wanted my receipt. I drove off but when I got it, I saw that she had tipped herself so the total came out to $30. The worker with the beard always gets my order wrong! Every time I ask for a frappe or blended drink he always gives them to me iced and rolls his eyes when I point out that I asked for them blended, happens often. Today I ordered matcha and taro swirl with boba and he gave me coconut and taro. Last time he made my order he forgot to add swirl to the mango swirl. First timer here but glad we stopped. Our server, Jana, was very sweet and helpful for my children and me as well. Greeting everyone that came in , the staff here are pretty awesome! Food wise,the mochi donuts are very fresh and airy! The jelly boba is not the chunky hard to chew type either. It just tastes ?fresh? and the Oreo frappe is no joke!! I stopped by Fat Straws for Yelp Elite week. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by a friendly guy behind the counter. Told him my name and asked for some recommendations. I ordered the milk tea. It was just ok. Nothing I would go back and get again. Their baked goods were really tasty. They are something you should try. If I go again maybe I'll try a different drink but nobody in my party raved about their beverages.

My husband and I really liked the Ube Mochi Donut. The Cookies N Cream...hmm not really. If you tasted the Ube Donut, you can definitely say that the Cookies N Cream donut was lacking flavor, no wonder my son barely ate it. Gosh, my love for Fat Straw is real because I'm not supposed to have gluten LOL I love this new location in Arlington. The number of times I have been, I've had no issues with the staff nor order. The mochi donuts never make it out of the car after pick up because it's irresistible to just sit there during the drive without diving into it. I got Thai milk tea. It's my current obsession. Maybes, it's because I got the mochi donuts, but I thought the tea was so sweet. The service was 10/10, tho. I went close to closing time and got an additional donut! The establishment was so clean.

We were lucky enough to walk in on their 1 year anniversary at the Arlington location. They gave everyone 20% off- Yay! Donuts were delicious! We got the churro, chocolate with spinkles, Vietnamese coffee, oreo, and strawberry cheesecake. Good selection of drinks. They are a bit too sweet for my taste. Even my kids agreed. But still good. Next time, we'll just ask for less sugar.

Great first time visit. The drinks were great, ordered milk tea boba, brown sugar milk tea and a cold brew coffee. The drinks were so good, the boba was good just the right amount of chewy. Also picked up some mochi donuts, and they are light and fluffy with just enough bounciness to them. The service was fast and courteous. We will be back.

Offes a different variety that other boba tea shops so that's the plus for me...and their signature donut is the unique twist. Small store, so sitting in may not be a great idea. It can fill up fast with its small footprint. Decor is cute and colorful for kid attraction. Unlike others, Fat Straw has a drive thru - BIG PLUS.

Nice clean place that feels very spacious. We ordered Let's Mango slushie, Strawberry Swirl slushie, Lavender Milk Tea, and Vietnamese Coffee. All of our drinks included boba toppings. There was no option to reduce the ice levels, although we didn't ask. They also sell donuts here. It's a little pricier than other boba tea places and there's an extra charge for dairy alternatives.

The pandan coconut one is out of this world! All of their mochi donuts are delicious! The toppings are bold and rich, not runny like some other places. I always enjoy eating their mochi donuts from all of their locations. We used to drive to Dallas just to get our fix. Give them a try!

This is my first time going to a Fat Straws and I'm definitely going to come here weekly! The staff are really nice, and the interior is really cute! I got a six pack of mochi donuts: x2 Cookies & Cream, Matcha, and the Churro flavors. They're really good and I like that they swap out the flavors. They also serve milk tea & coffee. I got a coconut milk tea and a cold brew Taro. I haven't had the coconut yet, but the Taro is very nice and creamy tasting. I'm happy they decided to come to Arlington! ??

Both times i?ve gone, I?ve been told they are sold out of boba ? The boba store is sold out of boba ?? They had an attitude and were rude about it, workers were giggling through the mic, I believe they were just discriminating, didn?t want to take my order and told me they didn?t have boba so they didn?t have to make my order. I use to love coming here every day after school and with family!

Always quick and friendly service! I've tried every boba place in Arlington and this is the best I've found. Lots of places have boba that is not very sweet or too chewy. Fat Straw's is perfect! Their milk teas or Vietnamese coffee are all delicious.

My first time trying a mochi donut. It was awesome! Such a different experience, lately I?m in love with black sesame so it was even better. Bubble tea was good too, not the best I?ve ever had but definitely good and my taro was not powdery like some places. It also came out super quick!

got 6 pack donuts and they were delish, got the matcha milk boba drink and my mom got mango jasmine, both drinks were disgusting. no sugar and drinks were watered down with hella ice. didn?t ask for sugar level or ice level.

Drinks are so tasty. I tried the Passion Jasmine tea, and a Mango Chamoy (it comes with a chamoy straw??) Matcha tea with cloud foam is delicious. The chewy puffs are so good. Flavors I got were Churro, Strawberry, Key lime, Cookies and cream, Fruity pebbles and Matcha. I will definitely be returning. I forgot to mention they have online ordering and a drive thru. My wife and I stopped in for a mochidonut and boba. The donut was great but the boba tea was underwhelming. The classic milk tea tasted like chocolate milk while the Thai milk tea was bland. The cashier was not welcoming and seemed annoyed we were there. She took out order and went back on her phone after she gave us our drinks. Thought the place would be better with 4.6 stars and good reviews but as kids say, ?it?s mid?.

We absolutely love Fat Straws! My husband especially loves the Watermelon Coolers! The Taro Cold Brew is my favorite. I don't think we have ever had anything we don't like. Their customer service is pretty much always on point, and I have never had a drink made wrong. It's our go to place!!! Oh and the seasonal Maple Bacon Mochi donut is amazing.

Fat Straws is my go to Boba place. I usually get a Strawberry or Peach Black tea. They have a good selection of teas and mochi donuts. The staff is always friendly and very patient. If you are in a rush they also have a drive through.

Customer service was amazing. The cashier was very friendly and even assisted my nephew in picking a drink since it was his first time having boba. Mochi donuts were delicious. We had the 4 pack. I recommend this location and will be coming back.

Oh my word, this place was out of this world. Every flavor is so unique. I was nuts about the black sesame and mango ones. A friend recommended this place to me and I am telling everyone I know to go ASAP. A little pricey but so worth it!!!

Quick service, friendly employees! My daughter and I go through their drive thru every other month or so for a sweet treat after school. Im sorry- how does asking why we are getting charged extra for an item clearly marked as included on the menu constitute verbal harassment? And just so you know you have both drinks listed at the same price on the menu for with and without boba- so it is on you and your employees to fix the confusion and charge the advertised price- not make up excuses for an up-charge.

The place looks exactly like the pictures and I was very excited to try it out since it?s the closest boba cafe. Unfortunately I was really dissatisfied and disappointed, I ordered taro milk with boba, and compared to the other cafes the boba was very VERY slimy, the texture was weird I couldn?t get myself to finish it, the taro milk: literally tasted like regular milk with purple dye and LOTS and lots of sugar (taro milk is my #1 order every boba cafe I go to, but I know for a fact that wasn?t taro milk ).

These are a nice treat when wanting something different. They have different flavors but research what flavors they have before you visit. I made the mistake of going thinking they?d have the same one I liked my first visit and they did not. My second visit wasn?t that great and the flavors weren?t good.

I?ve been a regular here for years and I love that they have a drive-thru at this location which is very convenient. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. My favorites are the Lavender milk tea and Strawberry mochi donut.

A friend told me about this place and brought me a mochi donut and tea during their soft opening and I loved it so much I had to give it a try. I've since been here at least three times (once before the grand opening and twice+ after) and each time has been amazing! The teas and coffee are all tasty and the boba and jellies are excellent. The donuts are perfect as well and the flavors are unique and wonderful. And the customer service? Top notch! Every time I go through the drive thru everyone's super nice

The staff were friendly and the restaurant was very clean. If you like mochi and donuts, you'll like mochi donuts. The texture of a donut with some of the chewiness of mochi. The textures were unique and enjoyable and the flavors were delicious. We tried one of each mochi donut flavor available: strawberry, chocolate, vanilla (or white chocolate), ube, cookies and cream, and churro. I really liked the ube and strawberry. The sharp flavor from strawberry really helped balance the sweetness of the frosting.

Wasn't aware you had to state your sugar or ice levels while ordering. They didn't ask for it so I was caught unawares when my drink had no sugar. The donuts were good tho.

Refreshing, quenching and ice cold! These teas are delicious. My family stopped by during this summer of 100 degrees and found they had customizable Jasmine teas. I went with 50% sweetness with popping boba. They have a fun point program, but we?ve haven?t explored them yet. They also have a drive thru! The boba drinks and mochi donuts were a HUGE hit at our multi-department mixer. Everyone raved about the drinks and they were completely intrigued by the mochi donuts. My new favorite boba spot there brown sugar pumpkin spice boba drink is my favorite and omg if you love the horchata drink (sweet rice drink flavor) you must try it, you can also have the option to put boba in that to, oh an let's not forget you must try there churro mochi donuts mmmm so delicious.
