Always amazing! Ham & cheese crossaint is my favorite & raspberry filled. Mocha freeze made with real coffee not just a mix. They switch out their coffee canisters frequently too which is appreciated. Quiet, polite, family owned.

I'm not sure what happened here. Been going here for years but all three pastries I got had a different flavor and less flakiness than usual. Two of them, the turkey & cheese croissant and the strawberry croissant were inedible and I tossed after trying. I ate the peanut butter roll but it just wasn't the same as it always was. I have been enjoying the Family Deli for over 6 years now. Although their sandwich offerings appear to be small the staff can create any sandwich you can conjure up. They are all made to order. 100% better than Subway!!! Their donuts and sweets are top of the crop! They even make VEGAN donuts on weekends. You really must drop by and give them a try.

Our daughter is allergic to eggs, and this is the only place we can find amazing donuts that are egg free. They are very allergy conscious too, which is awesome. Friendly folks. We wish it were closer to our home, but then, maybe that would be terrible for our waistlines.

I have been going to family Donuts since my children were little, and now I was able to take my grandchildren. I have always loved this donut shop. They are always so friendly and kind. It's a nice atmosphere inside, and there are plenty a seating inside but, we usually just get our donuts and leave. The donuts are always delicious, and the customer service is awesome! Best quality i have ever had from a family business!

I went for the vegan donuts today as my daughter is vegan and told me this place is wonderful. I also got a dozen regular donuts too to take to work. I had no intention of eating any of them but felt it was my duty as I am passing them on. Excellent they are, including the vegan ones which I thought there could be no way a vegan donut can be good. If you're going there try both, you won't be disappointed. The counter service was excellent too, friendly and helpful. Five stars, NO SIX!

So far this is my go to place for Donuts in Sacramento. Love the variety of different donuts that they have. All of them so far are very tasty especially that new peanut butter filled one. Also in their filled donuts they put plenty of fruit or cream filling in them. The staff has always been nice and friendly with their customers. This place has the best donuts I?ve ever had. I flew in from Florida and was told by numerous people I couldn?t leave until I visited. I had a lemon filled donut and it was amazing. Great donut place, it's been around for years. The donuts are always fresh and tasty & they have a good variety. There are many donut stores that we go to after 10 a.m. and they're out of almost all their donuts, but this place always has a good variety. Also they have other pastries, not just donuts, and they make sandwiches and have salads. I've only ever eat the donuts but everything there looks good. Nice family-owned business.

The donuts here are great, but I'm posting this review to rave about their sandwiches! They are extremely tasty and the bread is made in house daily from scratch - both the white and sourdough are to die for. The portions are extremely generous and you can get out the door with a sandwich, chips and soda for right under $10. I've been coming here since I was 16 and I am 30 today. Family owned place and Fancy without a doubt. The ham and cheese croissant is always my go-to ask to have it warmed up but the secret is coming in at 6:00 in the morning when all the donuts are hot and fresh. I've tried just about every drink but if you need a pick me up the green apple red bull infusion taste just like a starburst!

Nice clean place, must wear a mask, large selection of donuts and 5 deli sandwiches. I had the BLT with cheese, the best I've ever had including the ones I make. The staff is polite courteous and attentive. I tried to leave a tip but they said put that back in your pocket that tip is for you. I highly recommend this place especially if you're early for church and you're feeling a bit peckish.

I have tried a lot of donuts at a lot of places and none of them can even touch Family Donuts. My first stop here for a sandwich on the way to work was awesome. Had a BLT in sourdough with cheese and it was delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. Not a huge selection but probably a sandwich for everyone. I did not try the donuts but next time for sure.

We come to town every few years and this was a must stop. The donuts look good and a nice variety, but I agree the quality has changed. Honestly, I could taste the oil which was off-putting to me (old or weird type?). They used to be outstanding. Unfortunately, I will not be going back.

I have been going to this donut shop for over 20 years and it's by far the best in Sacramento. They have a great variety including many specialty donuts such as chocolate covered peanut butter bar, custard or jelly filled, or the chocolate chip roll. The donuts are always fresh. There is a lot of seating and I have seen a group of about 10 guys make this their morning hangout for years. I highly recommend this place!

Family Donuts have a awesome variety of fresh yummy pastries. There only real problem is they are about as friendly as a wet hornet. You have to bother them to get service, I think their face would crack if they smiled and someone forgot to teach them basic manners. Of all the times I've been there I have never heard them say thank you and they always repeat the above behaviors each time. If you don't care about all that and just want great donuts then family donuts is the place.

I normal come for the donuts as they are always good. But this time I ordered the tuna salad. And it was awesome! I could feel the love it was made with. And it was take out ! It's was made with all fresh ingredients. I liked the way they thin sliced all the good veggies that went into it. Everything was good tasting and good to look at. One of the best sandwich shops around. They make their own bread and are a family business. Years ago I went homeless and the man referred to as grandpa offered me the use of his bicycle. I said no but between that and giving me rides to my previous home without me asking, they treated me almost as if I was a member of the family. This wonderful shop has added vegan donuts to their menu. It was amazing to be able to have all our old favorites veganized. Their donuts are so delicious. I plan to come back and try out their deli menu soon. Great people here, feels like home.

I wouldn?t go within an hour of opening because they won?t have everything made. I?ve been twice now at just about an hour after open to avoid crowds and get what I want and they?re still churning out donuts. We?ve also been when it?s busy and later and the donuts still taste great even if they?re not at peak freshness. We really enjoy the French cruellers, buttermilk bars, and croissants. Best donuts shop in Fair Oaks! Family Donuts is, as the name says, family owned and operated. They have a wide variety of donuts, including all the usual favorites. Their apple fritters are huge. They also make a peanut butter chocolate bar that is just amazing. I stop in several Sundays and pick up donut holes and creme puffs for my Sunday Bible study class. They have a nice area for sitting and visiting with friends, too. Great neighborhood shop. Highly recommended.

We usually order chicken sandwich in here and we love it! The reason for 3 stars is that they got our order wrong again! We usually call in to order for pick up. The mistake on our part is we didnt check it while in the bakery as we somehow trust them after having them repeat our order over the phone that they would get it right but nope. Good place for donuts if you show up as soon as they open cause they do not refill their shelves once the donuts are gone they open at 4am an all the donuts are sold out by 6am.
