Faddy's Donuts

This has the absolute best Boston cream doughnut that we have ever had. We also got the Oreo and the apple cider neither were all that special but they were both tasty. The kettle corn is more Carmel corn and is tasty, but not the reason to come here, just icing on the donut shop.

Faddys donuts offers super delicious donuts. The staff is really friendly. My favorite is cinnamon sugar donut. My husband loved Boston creme. He said it was filled extra creme. I highly recommend going here for extra special treat. It picks up my day to a happier one.

Oh wow! These donuts are so delicious. The sugared donut is like eating a cloud. The apple cider donuts were just made and so warm they seemed like they were melting. Pricey but worth it for a good donut.

Donut was good but the service was terrible. The person rushed us so bad we only ended up getting one donut instead of the entire dozen we were intending to get.

Enjoyed maple walnut and basic sugared doughnut at Connecticut Garlic and Harvest Fest. There?s something magical about a doughnut still warm from the fryer. The folks working the stand were remarkably pleasant.

Their menu doesn?t post the prices of the jelly and frosted donuts. $20 for 6 donuts is steep. The jelly was sloppy and made like a sandwich instead of the filling cleanly in the middle. Also found a hair the jelly. The frosted donut tasted stale. I?m no fan of Dunkins but I would rate these even worse.

Stopped by after our Cabela?s shipping and they did not disappoint. Super friendly staff and the donuts were phenomenal. Definitely get the apple cider donuts!

Kind of hard to find since we didn't know this was a good truck in front of Cabela's but the donuts were worth the extra driving!

Holy wow!!! I just had the best Boston cream donut of my life!!! I don't really eat donuts like that and most of the time I'll pass.... I saw the donut and all the cream piled high in that Boston cream, i just couldn't pass it up. My goodness tho... it wasn't just the cream, every bite melted in my mouth. Every bite was even more delicious then the last. I can't believe I'm writing a review for a donut, but I'm my opinion it was that good.... Best donut around hands down!!!

This place may have good donuts but NEVER HIRE THEM!! We hired them to make donuts for a wedding (instead of a cake) and they were A NO SHOW!!! We found out they were not coming AT THE RECEPTION!! What kind of business does that for a wedding...with a signed contract and deposit!?? You RUINED our reception you jerk! And then we found out they have done the same thing at the same venue, with the same lame excuse (overbooking??? REALLY???)for another wedding. NEVER HIRE THEM!!!

Not just the best REAL donuts. But the kindest customer service. All around amazing every single time. Even when closing. Thank you for the donut. Can't wait to come back to this area to get more ????????

They?re not as affordable as say a dunkin? but they?re SO GOOD. I got a couple of the boston cream and some of the granulated sugar jelly donuts. Not even kidding they are the best jelly donuts I?ve ever had. Worth every penny and you?re also supporting a local business instead of some corporation.

I don?t know who these upset one star reviews are but as someone who lives in NYC, near the famous Peter Pan and ate many a donut all over the city and US?the Faddy sugar donut is top tier INSANELY delicious. This place was a bit difficult to find as it?s a very small shack tucked under the corridor of a sporting goods store. When I got there there was a line and so I was excited to see what the hype was about. The gentleman serving me was gruff and indifferent- very unpleasant to say the least. We look forward to our Faddys donuts after driving three hours to Brimfield. The donuts we got were old stale and dry. I would have been better off getting a Drunkin donut. Never again. After posting this the owner contacted me and offered free donuts next time. I never took him up on his offer but did get donuts last trip to Brimfield. They were amazing as I was used to. Mistakes happen it's nice to know some business owners listen to customers !

They need better storage to keep the donuts away from the flies?? they are too expensive one apple cider donuts cost $2.00 and there donuts are left in the open being exposed to flies I saw this with my two eyes flies were making contact to donuts?

This could be a 5 star if they go back to their old ways. Used to be the best donuts ever! They are still good when you put them in the microwave. For years Faddys has been One of my favorite reasons to go to Cabelas, but recently the donuts have not been freshly made and were hard as rocks/ice cold (it?s winter). They used to be so fresh and warm ANY time of the day.

I?m in love with their donuts and cheddar popcorn. The maple frosted donut is hands down THE best. Defiantly a decent price for the amount of deliciousness you get in return. Anyone who gives anything less than 5 stars is off their rocker. Cold or warm their donuts taste way better than any bakery or store donuts around. Can the service sometimes be a little gruff? Sure. Do they have the best donuts in the Hartford area? For my money, yeah. Does it matter if you get your donuts with a smile or a quick shift to the next customer? Not when the donuts are this good.

Great donuts and popcorn! All are made right there and fresh everyday. They only take cash so you may need to visit the ATM inside the Cabela's store. Was there this morning. Was the only one in line, asked how much a specific donut was and the operator rudely pointed at the sign and said the prices are posted. Made the mistake of actually purchasing the 3.00 single donut ( 4 of them ) and went on my way. Stale and dry are just two words id use to describe the entire expirience. Over rated towny trap. Dont like it? Be nicer and serve better food. Maybe i was wearing thick glasses for a reason IE disabled....

OMG AWESOME!!! I had a craving 2 weeks ago for an apple cider donut and googled places near me, randomly some places near me were closed because it was Monday. Anyways I saw Faddy's and went to try them out. Hands down the best Apple Cider Donuts Ive ever had, even better then Lyman Orchards. We have actually been there 3 times in the last 2 weeks, we dont even go to Dunkin that much. I would highly suggest trying it for yourself, you wont be disappointed ????

Delicious donuts! We drive an hour to Cabela?s just so that we can get some sweets as a treat afterwards. Maple glaze is definitely the best! And can?t forget chocolate glaze too. Tried the cheddar popcorn for the first time today and OMG! It?s the PERFECT amount of cheddar. Other cheese popcorn never has enough, but Faddy?s does an excellent job. Had donuts at the Brimfield fair today and it was by far the best donut I?ve ever had..and the best dessert in general in a very long time. It was so good that we returned for another. I?ll be dreaming about them.

Drove 30 minutes to this place because of the reviews...I got there at 10am (they opened at 9) only to be told that there was only one type of doughnut (sugar) available and that it would be an hour for additional flavors/options.... and on top of that the lady was rude! Normally love these donuts but I went today and there were flies all over the donuts. Big flies, fruit flies smh. Just consider covering the donuts its an easy fix.
