We love this local small business here in kirkland. The owner is so kind and sweet. She is very accommodating and will customize your orders from door dash if you call to specify which items you specifically want. The dough is so pillowy buttery and bouncy. The glaze is thin crispy glossy and I just love taking bite after bite of every item on her menu. We've tried pretty much everything by now. Our top favorites are certainly. I went in to just get a $5 ham and cheese croissant and he made sone small talk with me and when I said I drove about an hour and a half up here he gave me a whole box of donuts for free at least 10+ donuts. I've ordered from factory donuts several times since moving to Seattle. The first two times were excellent. One dozen mixed were evenly mixed as it should be. The last two times I've ordered the exact same order. One dozen mixed I've received cake glazed with sprinkles. All be it one pink one white one chocolate and one caramel. I went to this place to pick up an order for delivery. As usual, I was polite and respectful, but the employee there stared at me like I was doing something wrong. When she spoke to me, it felt like she was talking down to me, with no respect, as if I wasn?t even human. I believe they need to learn more about basic business principles, like the importance of word of mouth. They don?t seem to realize that I could be a potential customer one day, or that I might bring my friends and family to their store.

Hidden gem of Kingsgate! Had the strawberry and cheese which was inhaled immediately. I also had the bear claw which was flakey and not overly sweet. Coffee is also great and well priced. Definitely a good spot for a quick family pit spot.

Best donuts on the Eastside. Their prices are surprisingly inexpensive. Staff are always pleasant and helpful, though sometimes they get pretty busy. One anecdote: a few years ago for our wedding we got 16 boxes of Factory Donuts and they were were a huge hit! The owner gave our order a lot of attention to detail as well, even swapping out some particular donuts the day-of during pickup because they didn't look as pretty as they would like.

Good donuts, lots of options. I give three stars because it's odd to not allow my family to sit inside the store. If so take out the chairs and make it clear to customers there are no dining options. It was extremely difficult to understand the employee at the counter due to her thick accent, but I eventually managed to order an Iced Latte and two donuts. I was asked if I would like vanilla flavoring added to the Iced Latte, and I said sure. I was charged significantly higher than the listed menu price, with no explanation or receipt offered. After going to the nearby Subway, I went back to the outside of Factory Donuts to look at the menu to see if I could figure out where the extra charge came from.

Factory Donuts has a large selection of gorgeous, yummy donuts and other pastries! They're conveniently located in the Kingsgate neighborhood in Kirkland. Easy access from I-405, very little traffic and ample parking. The prices are super reasonable, not inflated like some overrated donut shops, and the staff is quite friendly/customer service is very good. Ordered donuts through Grub hub and order was cancelled because business did not accept order. When I called to ask why my order was not received the lady blamed Grub hub password that she was given. Then said it was for the dozen donuts umm no I only ordered 8 donuts. She kept trying to put blame on grub hub when the blame was her own issues. It's an unassuming place, with a great selection of classic favorites, as well as some giant versions, which are always fun for a treat. They also have a variety of pastries available. The best little donut shop! I grew up in the neighborhood and spent my allowance here a number of times. Now that I'm a dad, I get to share with my daughter the delicious varieties of fritters (apple, banana, blueberry, cherry), and all the other classics. There are no substitutes!
