The crown jewel of mid city. The breakfast here will become your ritual. Best iced coffee and donuts in Los Angeles
It?s an absolute treat to go here on mornings when I take the Crenshaw bus route to work. They always smile and greet me like an old friend whenever I come here ever since I left my thermos on the second time I was there and they held it for me for about three weeks until I returned for another visit. It was such an act of kindness, I?ve come back regularly ever since for their terrific donuts and pastries. ???????
This is one of the best local donut shops in LA! Their donuts are perfectly fluffy, light, and delicious. The owners are super nice - they were out of coconut raised donuts, but they offered to get some made for me right away. The prices are pretty great as well, about $18 for a dozen donuts and a dozen donut holes. Definitely check this place out if you?re in the area!

Breakfast sandwiches rocked! Fluffy eggs. Proper grill on the croissant. Donuts were great, too. Highly recommend.

LOVE this place! Truly a gem in the community and a to-go stop for anyone needing to pick up a quick breakfast, lunch, & treat for an affordable price. The owners help everyone everyday with a smile and start to feel like family the more you visit. I recommend the turkey croissant sandwich (#7) and the donut holes!
"Extra Terrific" is the perfect name for this local gem. When I first came here I had the turkey croissant sandwhich and was amazed at just how delicious it was. Packed with veggies and meat, i didnt even know turkey sandwhiches could be that good! I quickly became a regular, coming back multiple times for the turkey sandwhich. I eventually started branching out because their menu is expansive! I tried their breakfast burritos, and they were incredible! I've now moved on to trying the breakfast sandwiches,

This place gets 5 stars because the husband and wife couple who own this shop are the nicest and most pleasant people. They work very hard from the very early morning, but have a great smile of appreciation for all the customers who visit their shop.
The staff are very nice. I?ve bought multiple items there on different occasions. Thai iced tea, smoothies, coffee cakes, blueberry muffins and glazed donuts. But there?s a similar taste to everything!!!??? It?s not just my taste buds either. When I buy things for others they also comment that everything kinda tastes the same ??.
This place makes really good sandwiches. My favorite is hot pastrami and Tuna. However all their sandwiches are so good. Made fresh and with care. If you live near the corner of Venice and Crenshaw.. this is a must! They have bomb breakfasts burritos. The best part is they dont over charge like most places, go check it out youll know what i mean ?? You can get a Sandwich with a drink under 10.00
We consistently will walk past FOUR other donut shops to get to this one. Hands-down the best glazed donut I have ever had, and the NICEST family/ team that runs the place. Their sweet (pickled?) jalape?o slices on sandwiches are the BEST. My day is always better after going to Extra Terrific!!

The donuts are warm and fluffy and full of flavor. This may be a small whole in the wall but the quality of their donuts and sandwiches beats the chains and franchisees hands down. If you love quality delicious scrumptious treats and eats this is where you want to be.
