My wife was looking in the area for a new donut shop to try while we were in town visiting our kids and what an fantastic find Eskies was! Flavorful, very fresh (the owner started she gets there every morning at 1am to make the donuts! ). We got both cake and glazed donuts as well as an Apple Fritter and all 3 were delicious! Highly recommended!

I called to order personalized bday donuts. They were friendly and helpful. I told them my daughter loved sloths and science but if they just wanted to do fun bright colors that would be great as well. These donuts did not disappoint! We were so impressed with the decorating and they tasted amazing as well!

We found Eskie kind of by accident one Sunday because at 9 am, the KK store in town had next to no donuts available! We have not gone anywhere else for donuts. The freshness and taste of Eskie can?t be beat. We frequently get regular donuts and kolaches (my new favorite is their hash patty). What I also love is they include a few donut holes with every donut you order. What a lovely little touch that sets you apart from other stores. 1) Good donuts and good variety of donuts and other items. 2) Dog groomer nextdoor. Kids love to watch the dogs and eat donuts. 3) They don't ask for tips. I overheard a customer asking if they could put a tip on their payment system. The owners said we don't accept tips. They then gave the customer their very good reason for the policy... I agree with the owners... Stop all the tip asking and tip giving. The best tip is a retuning customer!

Love love love this place!! The shop is so cute, and the lady at the front is very friendly. I've been getting the kolaches from here regularly and they're so good! They have really delicious looking baked goods always stocked and the pricing is fair. Definitely recommend!
Such a cute place with nice bright energy. Plus, they gave us bonus surprise donut holes in the bag. Everything looked good but I got three kinds of cake donuts and two small cheese and sausage kolaches. Everything was very clean as well. This was my first trip but I?ll be back :)
These people are always so friendly and nice. Some of that may be my Great Pyrenees who I bring to Resa's next door. They love that dog but will not let him in the store. The place is impeccably clean, the donuts are always very well done both in quality and taste, and the family is very friendly. My family has been looking for a good donut place in Lubbock for months. We decided to try Eskie Donuts and haven't gone anywhere else since. Dough is not too dense and has a good texture. The dough to icing sweet ratio is spot on. Highly recommend if you're in the Lubbock area.
It took me awhile to try all the highest rated donut shops in town. We have winner!! IMHO, Eskie has the best frosted and filled fried dough in Lubbock. The old fashioned buttermilk are the bomb.

This place is AMAZING! I love how soft and fresh the donuts are! They have so many different menu items. I haven't tried them all yet but every donut I've bought has been consistently delicious! Excellent donuts and kolaches and always quick and friendly service from a sweet family. Plus, if you get at least a couple of items they always add a few donut holes to your order, so you get more than you pay for. Who else does that?
I can't say enough great things about this donut shop. Everything and I mean everything is great. Amazing donuts, kolaches, Danish, and my personal favorite the apple fritter. Try a filled donut where they will inject the cream, jam, or custard right there for you. And let's talk kolaches yes these are great tasting good size and not just a plain hot dog and a bun.
I tried a maple long john donut and a kolache. Soooo good! There was an option to fill the long john with one of 4 different fillings, which I?ve never seen at a donut shop before. The donut almost melted in my mouth - so soft and perfectly sweet. The warmed up kolache was delicious - not too bready like I?ve experienced at other shops.
The kolaches were amazing. The dough was very sweet, soft, reminiscent of a Hawaiian roll. The customer service was outstanding and the prices are nice as well. Please try this place out
Best donuts in Lbk. Easy 9/2 - Update: I began going here maybe a month ago. The first 3-4 times I went here the donuts (chocolate) were amazing, easily the best in Lubbock. However, the last two times I've been they were stale and honestly really bad. What happened!?!?
I love Eskie Donuts because the Donuts are not only great but it's obviously a family run business. They remember me every time I go there even though I don't go all the time. They are very friendly and it makes me feel great supporting local business that isn't a chain!
Ordered 1/2 dozen bacon jalapeno kolaches and 1/2 dozen boudin kolaches. Both were delicious. The boudin ones were massive and had tons of flavor, and the bacon ones were made with strips of bacon (not just bacon bits). Those were easily the best kolaches I have had in Lubbock.
Donuts are fresh and delicious. The staff is also always very friendly and helpful. There is also a wide variety of items available, and the kolaches are amazing. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
