The MOST delicious blueberry cake donut and maple old fashion donut I've ever had... and I've eaten so many donuts throughout my life ??. Our family also tried the kolaches, oreo , chocolate chip with sprinkles, chocolate old fashion, and classic donuts ?? and they LOVED them all ??. The place has plenty of parking spaces, several tables (normal size and counter height), very clean, and kid friendly. The staff is super nice and welcoming. What a great value - 2 B/E/C biscuits, 2 blueberry doughnuts, 1 medium coffee for $10+change. Biscuits were B+, doughnuts (YUM) & Community Coffee (YUM) were A. 2 employees were over-the-top friendly and helpful; one had even been there since midnight, was way past end of shift, but he still had a smile and treated us like his first customer of the morning.

I have been to a lot of donut shops in my life, but Empire Donut has the freshest donuts I?ve ever had. My favorites are the blueberry donut and the maple donut. The service is excellent with the friendliest staff, and the shop is immaculate! I challenge you to try to find something there that will not become your absolute favorite!
I should have written this review 2 years ago honestly! This shop has the best owners and employees! They are always so nice to me and my boys and go above and beyond if we have a "special order" or a difficult order. Really clean place, always stocked and just a great place for breakfast or a treat! Best burritos and homemade SALSA! Love them!
We ordered some Happy Birthday shaped donuts and a dinosaur shaped donut for my daughters birthday. They turned out amazing and tasted great too! Great prices and friendly service.
Love the fast drive thru service and the young lady is always friendly. I just don't understand them putting a chocolate glazed donut with a cinnamon roll in the same bag. Seriously chocolate and cinnamon don't go well together.
Hate to give this review because they are so good during the day but whoever the lady is that runs the drive thru during the midnight-early morning is just incompetent. Multiple times she's not given us items of our order and then not tell then incoming shift about the mishap. Sorry to say but definitely check your order with this place
Best donuts in town, and that's saying something since we have more donut shops than gas stations! Renfro kolaches, black tie donuts, and cinnamon sugar donut holes are amazing! I'd never been served fresh, hot donuts anywhere before, and I'm spoiled now!
Great place to get breakfast food is always good. People working there are friendly but always seem busy and in a hurry even when there's no one there. Donuts here are also really good.

The guy who works behind the counter- mexican asian- whatever race he is- he is SO RUDE!!! I get so SICK & TIRED of his sassy attitude everytime!!! Aint nobody ask for all that!!! Does he HATE his job??? Well. Should have went to college then!!! This donut shop is extremely close to my house but NO THANK YOU!!! I'll gladly drive the extra few miles down Stallings to get the GREAT service!!! Do NOT go here!!!
No one was behind the counter once I got there. Overall though it was a straight place and the donuts were fresh.

Did not get to do business with this particular place. Was early on a Saturday morning and they were super busy. Sat in drive-thru line for a bit over 10 minutes and had to leave due to time frame issues.
