Emerald Hub at Calypso

The food was delicious! I had the avocado toast on sourdough bread. It had cherry tomatoes, feta, balsamic and I even added some tasty hot sauce. It was amazing! This is a very convenient and reasonably priced food option near the beach. I went to get breakfast, ordered avocado toast for me and biscuits & gravy for my husband. Both were huge portions and very tasty, made fresh. We also got the maple bacon donuts, they were really good. The iced Americano I ordered was very tasty, I added lavender and vanilla syrups for a treat. There's lots of seating, a wide menu, and a convenience store in the back, it Even has souvenirs. UPDATE: Terrianne made a lovely lavender cappuccino with perfect foam today! The lavender is a delightful change from the usual syrups! We've been in our condo for 4 warm days, but today is in the 50s. I decided to try Emerald Hub for a cappuccino and breakfast. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and coffees! I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich on artisan nine grain bread. First of all, it is served on huge slices of moist whole grain bread. 2 eggs lightly scrambled and cheese on top. Y

I went during the Ironman and it was the only place open near the pier in the morning. My expectations were very low because they only had one person taking orders and making the coffee. Ordering took a while but the wait for the food was quick. The breakfast was actually tasty (haystack) and had a good amount of food. The blueberry doughnut was flavorful but cold. There was ample seating inside and outside. They packed your food ready for carry out. The place was also clean. I would go back

I came in at 12:15 on a Thursday afternoon. For a couple donuts and a coffee. The donuts were cleaned out and It took 20 minutes just to get a coffee. There was only one worker in the place and a steady come and go customers? if the place was managed better and adequately stocked then I would have given a better review. A poor experience but at least the vanilla coffee was decent.

This place is absolutely delicious! Super friendly staff, very tasty food, and a chill vibe for getting out of the sun and water for a bit. Philly cheese steak was really good, the shrimp tacos were fantastic, and the burger was really good quality beef! This is a cafe located on the first floor of Calypso 3. It?s nice for the convenience, but I wouldn?t go out of my way for breakfast. The selection included all of the usual sandwiches and wraps. Lots of donuts if you arrive early. The variety for bagels is plain or everything. We were given the wrong order and had a missing item during our visit. This cafe also serves lunch and dinner, and they serve a large variety of ice cream. You do not need to be staying the Calypso to eat here.

We stayed at Calypso, tower 3, and we ate at Emerald Hub almost everyday and enjoyed the food, but the service was exceptional! Those ladies that work there are the best! Super friendly and very helpful!

Find out about this place while we were staying here, omg they don't miss on to many things, the flat bread pizza was amazing, Philly fries could have been loaded a lil more or mixed in better, should definitely add some loaed fries to the list. We stayed here for an AVP tournament going on at Pier Park and it was the most convenient, delicious, and overall favorite spot of the trip. We were able to go down in the morning and get coffee, donuts, and breakfast sandwiches before heading to the courts. The coffee was quick and tasted great and was so good that we decided to come back for breakfast and lunch on our one day off after the tournament. The people working were friendly and suggested food items that ended up being amazing as well.

The food at Emerald Hub is really good! The avocado toast, flatbread pizza and buffalo lemon pepper wings are to die for!!!! I stayed in tower 2 at the Calypso and visited Emerald Hub everyday! Trying to stay health conscious on vacation is not always easy but this place made it possible! You HAVE to try their yogurt parfaits made with homemade granola! So delish!!! Their fresh made sandwiches from the grill have a good amount of meat and my favorite is a chicken Cesar wrap! We are staying in the calypso Tower number three and we found this gem on the first floor and we have had breakfast there twice when I say the avocado toast is the best I?ve ever had. I mean it?s the best I?ve ever had my grandson and my husband had a breakfast sandwich and a breakfast wrap both amazing. I tried the cheesesteak today. It is one of the best cheesesteaks I?ve ever had. Had a nice chat with the general manager. He was as nice as can be. I highly recommend this place.

Good friendly atmosphere and the food was excellent. I went with my brother not knowing that this little small spot near the Panama City pier would have excellent customer service and good food. Nice place to take a small quick break.

I truly enjoyed this restaurant. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, simple and fresh and it?s right on the beach road. Even though it?s under a very nice resort, the small restaurant has a very family friendly mom and pop vibe. The Nacho Burger is unique and excellent tasting. It also has his own barista where are you can get an excellent cup of coffee.

We have been here two times for breakfast. The service is amazing, the staff is courteious, place clean and spacious. The breakfast was always served quickly and steaming hot. They give you so much food we would have leftovers for the next morning! Must try this place out for yourselves.

What a GREAT addition to this resort! Not only is it convenient, but the food is so fresh and wonderful! My husband and I have loved everything we?ve eaten so far, and the shrimp tacos are our favorite as of today. The best part is the freshness. We?ll be back often!

We ordered takeout, spent over $100 with a 20% tip, and pretty much everything was disgusting. The sandwiches had the wrong ingredients, were watery (there was water dripping out of the bread, how does that even happen?) and the garlic fries tasted awful and were just plain fries, no salt, and a mountain of raw garlic. Shrimp tacos were AMAZING and staff are super friendly. We ordered room service to Calypso III and the delivery lady was very prompt and polite. I didn?t realize it at the time but they forgot my Diet Coke; a few minutes later she is back at the door with my Diet Coke and I didn?t even have to call an tell them it was missing! GREAT customer service!!!

My husband and I stopped in for a quick breakfast based on other reviews. The place was very clean and the man at the counter was very friendly. We both enjoyed the avocado toast( I recommend )and eggs w hash. Menu items were not pricey at all and very tasty!

I rated this 2 stars because we were wanting to walk in and pick our food up as it is advertised in the walkway going to Tower 1 & 2 but the security guard was EXTREMELY rude and said this area is only for guests in Tower 3 but conveniently we could order it to our room in Tower 2 then they charge a delivery fee when we were more than happy to pick it up and we were already standing in front of the restaurant! They shouldn?t advertise it in the walkway going to Tower 1 & 2 without having a huge sign stating

This is a great convenient little shop across from the public beach access. We grabbed a flatbread and Caesar wrap yesterday to take to the beach and today came back for breakfast sandwiches. Both times the service was quick and friendly, not always a guarantee when in PCB. They have a wide variety on the menu. Would recommend giving it a try for a quick, casual bite.

I was surprised by how much I loved the food, experience, and service here. We had a Hub burger, Philly cheese steak, and fries. I?d highly recommend all of it! The burger was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor! We sat out overlooking the pool and it was just so nice. It felt like a mini vacation.

Amazing group of people doing things with excellence! The food is awesome, service is spot on! While the condo they are attached to is not an all inclusive resort, having this shop on property makes it feel like one. They offer delivery service to the cabanas! Breakfast, lunch or one of their take and bake dinners, it?s all very good!

I cannot rave enough about this gem! We stayed at the Calypso resort for a week and ate several of our meals here. Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner! They have delicious donuts, delectable coffee, amazing food options that are full of flavor, and the friendliest staff. I highly recommend the shrimp tacos, turkey avocado sandwich, and the garlic fries with the FRY SAUCE! So good!! We were so happy to find this place just a few steps from our condo. Even if you?re not staying at Calypso, this place is a MUST!!!

We were a party of four that got just coffees / iced lattes. Everyone enjoyed their order. The staff was friendly and helpful. We sat out on the patio in the shade. The options on the food menu looked good. I'd stop by again next time I'm in town.

We stayed in the Calypso right across the street this past weekend. We ate breakfast there almost every single day. My husband LOVES their mango smoothies and their breakfast sandwich and avocado toast were so good. The staff was also super nice and really helpful. Definitely recommend for a quick bite if you?re staying around there!

We are so thankful to have an excellent dining option on the 1st floor of our condo for vacation. We've had the coffee for breakfast, wings for lunch, and now a "take and bake" casserole with salad and bread for a night in during a thunderstorm. Excellent service with friendly staff. So good. I would highly recommend to travelers or locals.

I love this place! It's such a cute beach side cafe! The food is always great and i look forward to coming back here every time I'm on vacation. It takes a while to get your food but it's such a small place im not surprised but other than that I love this place and highly recommend!

We decided to order our Thanksgiving Dinner for 12, rather then cook ourselves, and it was AMAZING. The driver arrived exactly as promised, all the food was hot, the gravy was outstanding, the turkey moist, and we not only fed 12, but had left overs. I had stopped here before for Charlies Doughnuts, who would have thought !! Thank you Rob and Shari.

We enjoyed staying at Calypso and the Emerald Hub was the icing on top! Mobile orders made life so much easier on our vacation, being able to order from our room, the pool, or even the beach, and having food ready to go as soon as we needed it. Everything we had was excellent from the salad, wraps, pizzas, ice cream, and more!

We visited Emerald Hub every day during our stay in Panama City. We went for coffee and ended up ordering their casseroles every night for a quick and easy dinner at our VRBO. The casseroles were delicious and came with a really nice salad and baguette. Also so affordable! Our favorite was the brisket enchilada. Love that you can order online and select the time for pick up! The staff was so wonderfully sweet!

Make sure you check and request your receipt. They double charged us for syrups, and then when asked about it became defensive. Located In a touristy area so seems bent toward taking advantage of tourists who might otherwise not double check their orders. Coffee tasted good, but not at double the price or worth the poor experience. I would recommend elsewhere if possible. EDIT: thanks for the response Robert, I appreciate the gesture. Next time I?m in the area I may take you up on that.

Fast and friendly service! So nice to be able to get breakfast and lunch while on vacation with such ease! No packing the kids up in the car and getting in and out just to sit down and wait to be seated at a restaurant. Love it!!!

We stayed at Calypso tower III for a week during our kids fall break. We enjoyed everything from Emerald Hub! Breakfast, grab the sandwich on a plain bagel with the peppermint mocha coffee. The avocado toast is a great healthy option. The donuts! Red velvet got me into trouble! We enjoyed lunch with them also. We?ll be back even if we don?t stay at Calypso. Job well done!

Looking for a good snack close by, got off of the elevator and there it was. It was so inviting and clean I tried the wings, they were delicious, it was more than a snack it was a meal, my son said the pizza was delicious. Great food right here at The Calypso Tower III. I am going back tonight.

This was a great find for us while doing a walk about! Shrimp tacos were recommended and we tried them and will definitely be back to try other things on the menu! We had the brisket enchilada bake last night it was wonderful. The salad and bread to go along added so much and it was a full meal. We have enjoyed everything we have gotten from them this was by far the best.

Super friendly staff. Great variety of breakfast options, donuts, coffee, espresso drinks, cold brew, pizzas, etc. best to call to have it ready. Short of staff, at least during low season, but totally worthy. They even have a small store with shirts, sweaters, beach towels, etc.

The Emerald Hub at Calypso is a great place to grab some donuts. In the five days that we've been here we have already gone twice. They have a good variety of donuts and they are always fresh. It's a little on the expensive side for donuts but it's well worth it. If you're looking for donuts check this place out.

We came back to PCB for vacation, and went to Emerald Hub again, service is still excellent, the place is so clean, its a pleasure to eat in, or take out. The cream filled donuts are some of the best we have had ! We will be back again and again on this trip !!

The lazy Jamaican barista closed 15 minutes early because there was an event, the Ironman, and he was "done" for the day. He said there wasn't any coffee when in fact the pot was full. Great business model, turn down paying customers because you're tired.
