El Camino Donuts

I came to this donut shop this morning. What a cute shop, with art, decor and donuts. There are some seating options, but no tables. I got there and 7:30 am. My goal was to taste a few donuts and a cinnamon roll. The staff must have been having an off day, they were not pleasant to interact with and got admitted when I asked what the price was for a dozen donuts (donuts are individually priced $1.50-4.95/each? not sold by the dozen). The selection was limited at 7:30. No cinnamon rolls until at least 9 I

The shop was closed but Clint welcomed us in anyways. We loved the atmosphere and the visiting with Clint and his past. His love and care for the donuts and sourdough bread was exceptional! Thank you Clint! (from the Girls Camp Girls over the mountain) I LOVED the giant cinnamon roll!

Clint welcomed us with open arms as first time visitors. The smell alone was enough to make us salivate for donuts. We happen to come in on a Saturday just before 1ish and lucked out getting the last two donuts (amazing maple bars) of the day. I can't wait to go back! If you are looking for something other than ice cream at Bear Lake, this is worth the drive. You won't be disappointed.

Best donut on the street!! Make sure to get a cinnamon roll, they sell out quick. Such a fun place, an old mill turned into a donut shop/ art store. There's something there for everyone.

Stop in here!!!! Delicious donuts, they taste like heaven. The cinnamon roll are HUGE!! The sweetest couple own this location and have really put their hearts into their business and it shows. So nice to grab a latte. Take the time to stop in!! You will not be disappointed.

First time here and the enviorment is VERY friendly, warm and the owners are fantastic! They serve "Lavazza" coffee which is fantastic and the donuts are made in house and are very tasty. Staying in Paris and sent our two daughters to pick up 2 dozen donuts and coffee, they were COMPLETELY ignored by the two working an older man and older woman. The man asked what they wanted and then told them they were way behind when there were only 4 in the restaurant. And the women was at the counter when the girls asked if they could order she turned and ignored them as well. They wouldn?t even acknowledge them. El Camino is a special treat, Clint and his wife make excellent doughnuts and have so for years. The care and attention they put into the process and ingredients is unsurpassed. Our favorites are their maple doughnuts, old fashioned, and apple hand pies. I?m excited to see what they grow the rest of the space into. Rest assured if you are passing by, stop in grab some doughnuts and brighten your day, you won?t regret it!!

Stopped on a whim at 6am. Such a cute donut and art shop. Very friendly couple running their business. The best part for me was a "real hot chocolate" as advertised really was the real Mexican style hot chocolate. I spent time in Colombia and this hot chocolate brought back all the yummy memories. Kids also loved getting an Oreo donut for breakfast.

By far the the best donuts! We dropped by at 1:00am to see him starting the making of deliciousness!! He opens at 6am. The donuts come out in stages and last with cinnamon rolls around 9:30am or 10am. It?s fun watching him making each rack of donuts with perfection! If your looking for a grocery store donut mass produced this isn?t your place. If you?re in for the whole experience of relaxing on some couches and inhaling amazingness this is the place ! We passed El Camino Donuts on our way to a potluck so we decided to stop in and get a dozen. I'm not a huge fan of donuts normally but these are really good! I do love an old fashioned donut and theirs was perfect. They had one with chocolate icing that was excellent too. The cinnamon rolls are quite large but perfectly cooked. I'm not usually a donut fan, my family however is. I indulged them in trying something new and wow, so glad I did, by far the best donut I have ever had! These are bigger then a typical donut too, but it didn't stop me from inhaling the whole thing!

Really cool shop with unique art for sale. The donuts we tried were delicious, the coffee good, and the cinnamon bun dangerously good, especially considering its size. As a bonus, the sourdough bread made for some great sandwiches back home.

Such a GREAT shop!!!! Simple but INCREDIBLE donuts (both the taste and the texture, the donut had a very slight crunch on thy outside and was soft on the inside), absolutely GORGEOUS paintings, and a completely CHARMING atmosphere!!! The El Camino staff was awesome and friendly. I was in need of a place to send emails for work for a short time and el Camino was a blessing. They treated me like a VIP with samples and checking in to make sure the WI-FI connection was strong. They had great coffee and delicious donuts that the whole family loved. If we are in Paris ID again, we will definitely be revisiting.

The BEST maple bars we have ever had! The owner said the giant cinnamon rolls were life changing...and he was right. So good! Lots of delicious kinds of pastries in a neat old-timey building. Great customer service. You might catch a glimpse of the business' namesake, a classic El Camino parked out back. The only time we've ever been disappointed is when the shop was closed due to selling out of donuts!

This donut joint is our absolute favorite. The owners are awesome and very accommodating. We made a large order for their famous cinnamon rolls for a family party and was the hit of the day. Caution: 1 roll feeds a family of 5. They are fantastic. Don?t take my word, check it out yourself. Kudos to the bakers.

I used to think Portland had cornered the market on fabulous donuts. Now I think Portland is alright if El Camino is closed. Their donuts are the best I?ve had. And if they have any of their giant cinnamon rolls in the display case be sure to get one. Oh, and great hot chocolate too.

I stop every morning, on my way to work, at 6am. I'm always greeted with a smile and "hello". I buy enough to share at the hospital and everyone (except those who are dieting) lights up and raves. A great place to get a superb pastry. They are true artisans of a dying profession.

Make the trip to Paris for morning coffee and donuts! The coffee is just coffee wich is a good thing around these parts. The donuts will change your life, and the owners are super friendly amazing artists. The best part is you won't pay any of those garden city prices for anything. Absolutely a must for any vacation. Get there early though because they do sell out of donuts pretty quickly.

The best maple bar I've ever tasted. Went back with a big group and bought one doughnut of every different flavor and we were not disappointed. Very delicious. Also, it was the cutest store front, a perfect place to grab a delicious treat and enjoy the ambiance of downtown Paris. Owners were kind and welcoming. We'll be back!

El Camino Donuts is the best donut shop around. I?m thinking of making the 2+ hour drive sometime soon, primarily to get some donuts:) Really friendly, hardworking business owners. Don?t walk, run first thing in the morning if you actually want to get a cinnamon roll. They sell out fast.

I arrived there at 9:40 am in November of 2022. I really enjoy donuts. My favorite kind to buy is the Boston Cream. The Boston Cream donut at this place was the best testing Boston Cream donut I have ever had. To me it had a nice clean taste if that makes any sense. The down fall of donuts to me is this greasy type after taste. To me this donut did have this after taste. To me everything blended well. I look forward to going there again. Their donuts melt in your mouth. We have tried the glazed, Bavarian cream, cinnamon roll and maple bars and all are divine. They are the best we have ever had. There coffee is great too. Owners are awesome.

Stopped into El Camino today. Pretty much walked into C&C Donut factory, small town place with great people and plain cake donuts that will take you back to your youth. Call and order ahead. If you are a fiend for frosting this is also the place. The jelly filled is so balanced it?s perfection. Thank you both for a great experience! I was on my way to pocatello from Texas to do a wedding cake . I stopped at this donut shop. To get a cup of coffee. I saw the donuts n they looked appetizing. I bought 2. They were amazing. I spoke with the lady n the guy who was frying the donuts. They were extremely friendly. Being a pastry chef I know quality. They were proof right not greasy n the texture was there. If ever your passing thru there stop by n get a donut or 2 or get a dozen. I highly recommend them.

The lady who helped us wasn?t above and beyond friendly? not rude either, but like most people now a days, just not a whole lot of customer service enthusiasm. The donuts were DELICIOUS ? but the price wasn?t! $26 for a dozen is a bit too steep for donuts in my opinion.

This is a MUST stop if you are in the Bear Lake area. Main Street Paris Idaho is home to Clint and Karen, proprietors of El Camino Donuts. New to Paris and man, are we glad they are here. Their donuts are simply one of the great joys in life. We truthfully drive 1 hour each way from our home in AFTON, Wyoming to claim our share. Stop by. I seriously doubt you will be dissappoint... The El Camino motto is "the best donuts on the street". But I contend that this shop has some of the best donuts in the state Fresh, fluffy and flavorful. You can hardly go wrong with any donut in this shop Update: It appears the owner relocated to Carson City. Likely the oppressive atmosphere for small businesses with crime and COVID restrictions hurt and led to the closure of yet another small business. A real shame too. With the opening of El Camino Donuts I have officially retired from making homemade donuts. The cake donuts have the wonderful made from scratch flavor and texture that disappeared from donut bakeries by the early 90's. My husband is thrilled with the chocolatiness of the chocolate glaze. The raised donuts melt in the mouth, and the cinnamon swirl is to die for-- perfect balance of flavors and textures. Do I have to tell you it's a regular stop on our extremely short list of places we patronize?

Wow. The owners are the nicest people you'll ever meet. ?? the donuts are so good and the atmosphere is beautiful. They also have art classes you can take here along with art that. You can purchase. I will stop here everytime I'm in town. Please check them out.

Brand new shop! Lots of flavors and choices. Kids got an old fashioned and a sprinkle, they really liked them. I would post a picture but they ate them too fast! Parking was kind of tough but will definitely go back when we can walk around the area some more.

The ??s are beautiful to look at. The folks are friendly. BUT...I found the glazed yeast donut pretty tasteless. AND they charge 75 cents per box to take the goods out. Can't even reuse the box! That should be cost of doing business OR disclosed up front. I will not return and will share this sad experience with everyone I know.

New to Albq and I believe in this community, especially supporting local business. I?ve tried several local doughnut shops and hands down, this is the BEST doughnut shop in the city. Classic along with modern twists doughnuts. Yeast raised and cake doughnuts. Fresh and moist like a doughnut should be.
