Some of the best textures for a cinnamon roll and apple fritter. But the taste was just a little off, nothing bad. The cinnamon roll started a little bit too floury and ended with too much cinnamon. The apple fritter bottom tasted dry or burnt and the top was a little over frosted but together neither were too strong. We also got a ham and cheese croissant, the plus is this had a big thick slice of ham, the minus is that the ham looked purple and was fatty.
Great donuts, very good coffee and extremely nice people ? what more could you possibly want from a donut shop? This has become my favorite, I go here whenever I come to town. ????
Guy charged me 8 dollars for a small blended drink of fruit/vegetables well on his menu gave a different price & it tasted like old fruit don?t order it is my advice?

Best donut shop in the entire world. Their iced coffee is better than any of the chain restaurants in the area, and their donuts are psychotically addicting. Echo Park Donuts forever!!!

Old-fashioned chocolate frosting had a deep chocolate flavor, fritter was delicious, raised dough is very tasty. A notch above your typical mom and pop donut shop.
Such a great, mom & pop community donut shop! There's a crew of older people hanging out here every day, which is an immediate clue it's a quality place. The donuts are also delightful: lightly crispy, with good flavor, without being dry. If I want a regular old cake donut (plain sugar glazed, cinnamon, and blueberry are all good; can't imagine any are bad) I will hit this place up before anywhere else. They open at 4:30am so you can roll in for hot'n'fresh selections after graveyard or before first shift.
When I visited there were No glazed twists made and I was told there wouldn't be any. :( I guess I can't get twisted today then.
says they close at 9 pm and tried going for a donut an hour before closing but they closed already smh. i didn?t even mind if it wasn?t fresh but they should change their times if that?s the case
Best donuts I?ve had in LA!! And the workers are so friendly. If you get there early enough you can snag some warm ones. Great neighborhood establishment.

These are no joke, the best donuts in Los Angeles. They might *look* basic, but they do not taste that way. There's something about their recipe, and the way they are cooked (general execution?) That sets these apart in texture and "fluffiness." There are donut places everywhere in LA, and no place comes close to this one. I live in Minneapolis now, but still have fond memories of this place. Really nice people, too. Try the maple bacon!
It?s a donut shop within a convenience store. Staff is very polite! I got glazed donuts and blueberry frosted donuts, and of course some milk. It was so good and they?re a good size (bigger than average donut) so you don?t feel cheated. Can?t wait to come back!
Doesn?t look like much from the outside, but don?t let that fool you. I got the maple bacon donut, the apple fritter, the chocolate peanut, the jelly, and the maple glazed classic. The cake donuts and the yeast donuts were equally delicious and the price was unbearable. I also had a perfect iced coffee and a very friendly experience with the staff. Not many seats though so plan to take your donuts on the road.
I'm a bus operator and I have layovers here. The doughnuts are always fresh, they don't mind warming up the croissants for you, they sell lottery tickets, the cashiers are ALWAYS friendly and the Thai Iced Tea is delicious.
This is the place to come and have your breakfast, especially if you're in a hurry. The attendant is very sweet as well. Ham and cheese with jalape?os. Fire.

I've been going to this spot since 2003 & I make it a point to visit now that I don't live in LA anymore. Very fresh delicious donuts, great coffee. Nice staff.
Don't expect to be able to score any kind of smoothie or play lotto 30mins before closing. Really wanted a strawberry/banana smoothie and a scratcher at 8:30pm, but was denied due to the fact that the young lady behind the counter had "shut everything down already." Flabbergasted that 5 or 6 paisas were just sitting at the tables inside with nothing to eat or drink in front of them. A happenning spot indeed. Crossed the street to a mini-mart and bought my scratcher over there instead and won $15 on a two do

This is a 100 legit doughnut shop. They also sell many, many lottery tickets. They have an atm inside. You can also buy breakfast croissants and ice cream allegedly. Never seen anyone with an ice cream.
Donuts and coffee here are delightful. They also make sandwiches and fruit smoothies. There is a lottery viewing monitor for playing "Hot Spot".
Oh gosh the Jalape?o cheddar bagels are out of this world...we usually stop mornings with my niece and I'm not sure on their names but both girls are very respectful and wonderful keep up the good work
