Dutch Pantry

It's just a cute little country store with dry stock goods, meats and a deli. Service was prompt for being as busy as the gentleman was. I ordered the turkey club and a grilled cheese for my son. I...mmm.... I need to go back and get another one. Oh my goodness gracious me!!! ??

Overall, this is an excellent bulk food store. I have noticed a slight decrease in options though. Over the last year or so the amount of stuff available has noticeably decreased. Definitely not as jammed packed with their delicious snacks like it used to be. Food is still excellent though and the workers are always fantastic.

Really good food, excellent service, tons of spices, sweets, and groceries. Had a burger, and it was very good.

Chicken salad was OK. Very mushy for me. Bread was freshly baked but kept falling apart. It's a little grocery, restaurant combo.

Sandwiches are fantastic, made to order, and very prompt. The coffee grinder is a nice convienance with a wide available selection. There is a wide selection of goods here; candy, drinks, meats, spices, snacks, jams, and spreads, and baked goods. The red pepper relish is awesome and the fry pies are a great baked treat.

Food is always hot and fresh and cooked to order. Never disappointed and get food prepared in a timely fashion.

It's been a week or so since I went to the Dutch Pantry, so I've had some time to think about what I am about to say - I'm pretty sure the maple glazed donut is the best donut I have ever had in my entire life. I just can't think of one aspect of it that could be improved. Perfected. Good work. All the other donuts I'm sure are very good as well ... The breakfast sandwich was very good too, much better than fast food restaurants.

They serve donuts Friday and Saturdays. You make make a reservation beforehand because they tend to sell out pretty fast.

Great made-to-order deli sandwiches here! Served hot or cold, panini pressed or grilled. Excellent Amish style grocery store as well.

Best donuts, they are huge. Unfortunately only served on Friday's and Saturday while they last

This is a quaint little shop. The homemade pastries were delicious. I also highly suggest the Concord grape juice. No extra sugar added. The is anything you could hope for with regards to fresh home cooking.

Love this place. I'm very picky when it comes to my salads. I usually make them myself. Today I purchased coleslaw and macaroni salad. I AM VERY IMPRESSED..DELICIOUS. will purchase them again. Next visit I will try the other salads Wish I went there sooner. Not to mention their sandwiches are also delicious and their pickled asparagus OH I can go on and on

Great homemade, made-to-order sandwiches, breads, donuts, and pastries. It's also fun to walk around the store and find things you don't usually find in other stores, like bison meat, scrapple, and all kinds of trail mix and candies. I ?? this place!

Great lil Sandwich shop! All kinds of items from candy,fresh eggs and several kinds of meat! Great lil spot for lunch,good for soup of the day or your favorite freshly made sandwiches! Few inside seating available also. Check it out,you won't be disappointed!!

My granddaughter and I traditionally visit The Dutch Pantry for her birthday and a day together. We love the wonderful and delicious sandwiches. The staff and choices are perfect. We love The Dutch Pantry and looking through all the items. Billie

I love the sandwiches here! The quality is through the roof and it comes with a decent sized slab of meat. Staff is super nice but the prices are just a hair too high. But honestly it's worth the pay off for how amazing everything else is! Also it's bit out of the way. Def check it out because it's one of the best sandwich places in the whole area.

I have enjoyed this wonderful store for years now. They have the best sandwiches in Greene County as well as the most amazing fresh-baked goods you could imagine. Their service has always been prompt and courteous as well. I look forward to my next visit to the Dutch Pantry, which will be in just a few days.

Cute little deli with BEST donuts we've ever had EVER. The glazed and Bavarian were our favorites. Their bread was so good, when you toast it, it's very different from any we've had (in a good way). Lots of little homemade goodies to brighten your day.

Nice little store that's similar to Yoder's but 10 miles closer to Charlottesville. I recommend stopping here first because while they're smaller and don't have nearly the inventory of Yoder's they might have what you're looking for and it'll save you some time if you're coming from C-ville. They have lots of the same jams, jellies, baking products, snacks, deli, etc.

Love this place! The sandwiches alone are worth the trip, but this place has so much more to offer. From dry goods to local meats and dairy products, they have an awesome selection of "pantry" items. Definitely check this place out!

We stopped in for breakfast on a trip through the area. The food is so good! I?m both glad and sad I don?t live close. I?d be here all the time? but I?d weigh 300lbs if I did!

Sandwich was mediocre and the tables were dirty.

I wish I had done a pic, 4" high Virginia ham, freshly fried eggs, cheddar cheese on homemade sourdough bread for breakfast in a quick minute. My wife says why do you leave a half hour early to go to work, I sheepishly smile and say I may pick up something on the way. When I go to heaven the fabulous counter staff will be serving me this three squares a day, well I might put on a couple pounds :)

The milk here is fantastic, so are the eggs, and coldcuts. Chicken salad is similar quality to yoders. We come here every week. The fresh baked bread is amazing highly recommend it is super delicious. So serve that old-school milk in glass bottles. Is the best quality milk I have ever had.my son Loves it

Ordered a German Chocolate cake from them. It was extremely dry. I could have just bought cake mix from Walmart and made it myself if I wanted that. Soup is bagged. Not sure if it?s homemade or not. Rude.

The deli in Dutch Pantry is AMAZING! Although its relatively small, it's big on flavor & goodness! Best tasting sandwiches here & made to order with REALLY tasty, fresh ingredients! YUMMY!

Great small shoppe selling kitchen staples at great prices. The sandwiches were delicious. Kind people. I'm not from the area but when I take another trip I will be sure to stop by again.

We live pretty close to Dutch Pantry and are so glad we do. They have a little bit of everything, from deli meat to cheeses to bulk goods to homemade doughnuts on Fridays and Saturdays. They have a dipping station and sell ice cream by the scoop. At the deli, they make sandwiches to order. My favorite is the BLT with cheddar and mayo on toasted sourdough. Big selection of jams, jellies, fruit butters, and relishes. If trying to get a doughnut on the weekend, get there early because they do sell out.

Their deli is amazing. There's a great selection of baked goods and items to make your own meals truly from scratch. Stop in and try one of their sandwiches.

An unassuming storefront which hides an amazing place to pick up baked goods, deli sandwiches, and all kinds of spices, kitchenware and groceries. Small seating area. Friendly staff. We will be back - highly recommend.

It is a nice place we stopped by to pick up a quick lunch and a few Amish products. The sandwiches have generously portions, and tasted delicious. I will definitely recommend this place and go back there again.

I stopped here in search of something sweet and was not disappointed. They sell pies by the whole but also quarter pieces which was perfect for me. I also tried their chocolate chip cookies, which were a delight.

Has Dutch pantry changed ownership? We did not get the good quality of sandwiches and potato soup today. The BBQ sandwiches had very little BBq on them. The potato soup was a yellow mexican style potato soup. Not the original potato soup. My Sandwich bread tasted old. Even though I had my bread toasted It still tasted stale. The tomato on my sandwich was stale and old. Where are those great sandwiches and soup they used to have?? Guess I'm going back to Yoder's

Some of the best food I?ve ever had. The turkey sandwich was fixed like my mother made it. Highly recommended.

I was a little upset today wrote my order for sliced deli products. Lots of sandwiches was made that came in after me it was over 20 minutes I asked three times about my order. Please dont put sandwich customers before also helping other orders. This has never happened before!

Probably my favorite place to eat in ruckersville. It's not fancy, but they make great sandwiches. I think it's worth getting the grilled option.

It is miss-categorized as a health food store. They carry imitation flavorings, Coke/Pepsi and items that health food stores do not carry by definition. It is a small grocery store with bulk items, a deli and some local meats and dairy products. They are similar to an Amish-type grocery store.

Why have a ?masks required? sign when no one seems to care? Half the customers not wearing masks, cashier and deli staff either wearing a chin strap or mask below the nose. It?s not that hard, people
