Omg. Today I finally stopped into this donut haven (admittedly, on my way home from the gym). It?s off Ronald Regan Blvd /exit 13. The donuts are perfection: light, fluffy, fresh, flavorful. I will not be getting a donut anywhere else again. GO HERE if you want donuts that are actually worth the calories!

Top notch customer service, beautiful and clean atmosphere. However the donuts were not as tasty. The texture was not as light as I'm used to. They were not bad, just not to my liking. Also slightly more pricey. The caramel lat? was delicious. I would definitely visit again. However I would not get donuts.

Very friendly service and my coffee was perfection! I got it decaf and it was 10/10. The donuts were okay, they weren't all that light. The chocolate glazed was dry, but the lemon meringue was better since it had the filling. I expected them to taste more fresh.

Quite possibly the best donuts I've ever had! They're simply amazing! Very fresh with top-notch presentation...and they're gluten free! Customer service is always great, they've got that down. Seating is available but limited including three outdoor picnic tables with one little one for kids. I like to support local business anyway but it's always a big plus when a product is over the top!

Delicious donuts!! All the donuts were amazing. My favorites were the glazed, lemon meringue, Boston cream and peach filled. So fresh with a great variety. One of the best donuts we've had in Georgia. Perfect place to grab a coffee and some donuts.

So glad to have a fresh option for gluten friendly donuts. We?ve visited twice in the last couple weeks and our gf donuts have had raw dough centers. That?s kind of a bummer. The cooked parts were fluffy and yummy. All the gluten full donuts were delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the man who served us was very friendly and kind.

Great small business with friendly knowledgeable employees. Get there early for the good stuff. They also have GF Donuts! This separates them from others it is a considerate and calculated effort to satisfy ALL of their customers. So good! Great selection with some very interesting combinations, but the classic ones are also excellent. Some of my favorite doughnuts around. The lemon meringue might be my current winner. There is also a gluten-free selection. I think you can also get them at the Dutch, which has some of the best fries around.

Picked up 4 individually packed doughnuts here for co-workers. Everything seemed fresh. Service was friendly. Just a regular coffee shop atmosphere inside. There is nothing better than a bakery that appreciates handcrafted detail with a passion for quality! This is our favorite place in all of Georgia! They have such a fun atmosphere normally, and have adapted to make their food and service convenient during covid. Anything that has fruit it is amazingly fresh! Not only are the gluten free donuts like crazy delicious, but the staff was just as sweet. I'm pretty picky when it comes to GF baked goods, but these are the stuff! I ordered each GF flavor, cinnamon, chocolate iced, and the raspberry shortcake. I usually don't go for fruit on any dessert, but this....OMG, this is how raspberries were meant to be eaten!!

Love Dutch Monkey. With all the trans fat filled gas station and quick serve donut shops in the northern suburbs, we are so blessed to have a local sporting like Dutch Monkey. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and the donuts are true works of art!

I found this little "gem" today, and I'm so glad I did! I met a friend here for coffee, and it was her first time too. Apparently, they have been here 15 years, and I can certainly see why! ?? Been craving for donuts and my husband got some for me from Dutch Monkey. The Coffee Buttercream (left in the pic) was worth sending him out ?? However I was disappointed with the Apple fritter which barely had any apple in it. I cut it in half and see all dough ?? There were just a few tiny pieces stuck on top of the donut - that?s it! The cinnamon roll was just average but we have high hopes for the lemon meringue (that?s hubby?s choice)

Recently moved to Cumming and was looking for a good donut place. Wow! Did I find a good one! They have an awesome variety! Staff was great too! I really loved the chocolate chip twist!

Dutch Monkey is the best. Whenever I am anywhere near the area, I make a detour to stop in. It is worth the effort. Everything is consistently amazing, and everyone is so nice.

The glazed donuts remind me of dunkin donuts. Looks like they didn't let the donuts cool and the glaze melted off. This is the case with so many donut shops and it's very frustrating. Why can't I just get a good glazed donut around here?

This is a nice location and the donuts are pretty, but that?s where it ends. The donuts are too dense for my liking. I wouldn?t even care about the higher than average donut price if they were good. Also, the milk is a no go. I just want regular ole milk with my donuts. Another suggestion would be using milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate icing. Just disappointed. The cake donuts are fantastic, everything else is pretty good but some can get a little busy...not my thing but I understand people enjoy them. Pricey but good. Not my first visit and will not be my last.

Donuts were very good. However, when ordering online, we received three filled donuts out of the dozen. Typically, you receive one maybe two of these in a store picked mixed order. Unless you like these types of donuts, I suggest going into the store. Don?t get me wrong, everything else was fantastic and the employees were very friendly and helpful. Great donut shop. Great donuts that are fresh with no preservatives. Make sure you eat within a day since they go stale because they are free of preservation chemicals

Great overall experience with Dutch Monkey Donuts. Not only were the donuts out of this world but the special King Cake was on another level. I purchased 7 doughnuts(these were pretty basic) for 25 dollars, in my opinion thats crazy! For that price I was hoping they would be spectacular doughnuts, they were below average and underwhelming. Easily the best donuts, and possibly the best dessert food to be had in the metro Atlanta area. I live 45 mins away but still make the trip occasionally it's so good. Get there early though because they seem to run out of the things I want every time I go if I get there after 10 or 11 am. I won't make the trip again if im going to get there after 1030 am.

These doughnuts are absolutely perfect. Yes, pricey for sure so it?s not really an everyday must, but once a month or two is a nice treat. I like to bring guests from out of town to enjoy these crafted treats and real milk with cream on top. Cool experience.

Love this place. They have a large selection of different flavors and combinations that rotates (check their FB or IG for the latest). They always have gluten free options too which is awesome. Unfortunately, this is not a great review. We came in sun. Aug 11, 2019. We bought 5 doughnuts for $15. They looked absolutely amazing and even though it's way more expensive than other places I was expecting the taste to equal the cost. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Yummy donuts and fresh coffee. The best part is their effective use of technology with ordering and sales. They are paperless, so cards only. Also, they post their donuts everyday on FB, and you can see pictures of them on their page. I messaged them on FB, and by the time I got to the location they were picked and ready for pick up. The coffee was so fresh, and the donuts perfectly sweet. They are higher end prices, but the product definitely supports the price.

Tasty and creative donuts! The strawberry sprinkle, Aztec, and signature dutch monkey donuts are all worth a stop. Chai tea ain't bad either! They are currently take out or drive through only (no dine in, but there's a couple of small tables outside to use).

The place is clean, cute and has an excellent selection. Presentation is very enticing. The taste is just not for me. The donuts are on the dryer side which is similar to Dunkin Donuts. I prefer a richer, softer and more yeasty flavor.

Very nice donut shop in Alpharetta. Counter Culture coffee, which is great, and a great selection of coffee drinks and others. The donuts (and related pastries) are all done that day, and they don't make more once they sell out so come early if you want a big selection of items. Everything is great tho, so they are bound to have something to enjoy at all times.

I got the cinnamon twist and it was very delicious however when I asked the employee for it she went to the back to get it a was a little concerned at first of the freshness of the doughnuts however it exceeded my expectations. An observation I made while there was a couple baker's racks blocking the path between the front and back of house which seemed like the staff wasn't prepared for guests.

Thoughtfully crafted doughnuts tasting the way I'm sure they all tasted "when I was growing up." Had great expectation based on reviews but sadly underwhelmed. The Lemon Bismark was stale and the lemon type custard inside was bitter. The Dutch Monkey had zero banana taste and bland peanut butter custard. The sausage fritter was extremely dry and strange spice profile. Despite our disappointment in donuts, the coffee was good.

Five Star donuts, people. The line was long but moved pretty fast if you're just picking up donuts. Definitely kid friendly, where the little ones can climb up step stools to peer through the kitchen window portholes. The nicest thing I liked was that the donuts were not overly sweet, make old school with wholesome ingredients I approve of, and you could taste the love that went into them. I will have to go back, so many flavors to try out....

Locally sourced, delicious designer doughnuts. These are the best I've ever eaten, and I LOVE donuts. My very favorites are the strawberry cream bar, the Nutella twist and the coffee cream filled doughnut. Seriously crave worthy, if I go and they are out of a favorite, my heart feels sad. Just so you know, go early. They make everything fresh daily, in small batches, so they WILL run out of the best flavors by the afternoon!

Everyone I know is always raving about this place. We have given it several chances and it never lives up to expectations. The donuts are dry and have a chewy texture, not soft and pillowy like I want a donut to be. The flavors are bland with no strong tastes. Not a fan at all.

Came to store today Tuesday Oct 1st 2019 with great expectations of great Tasting donuts due to the talent and skills of the renowned pastry chef owners from NYC. The Donuts "dough" seemed all the same "doughy grainy tasteless wet dough" covered in frostings or pumped with custard/ curd. Not sure if this is the norm, but most of the donuts they had were of sour kind. Sour cream donut, or sour n xyz etc etc. Could only find one non sour donut. Was little disappointed but whatever we got was of good quality. Also, they sponsor library reading programs so kids get free stuff here. Really appreciate such gesture n encouragement for kids.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! By far my favorite doughnut place I've been to. They have the signature "Dutch Monkey" doughnut which is amazing with a caramel custard filling. They always are adding new editions or different doughnuts. Customer Service is also amazing and they did a 5k and half marathon recently.
