Dude Donut City

Dude City Donuts is the best! They have the widest variety of donuts I've ever seen, so many different flavors, fillings and icings, all absolutely delicious. I got a simple iced strawberry donut, and was amazing at how delicious the icing is! I believe they make it from scratch. I highly recommend Dude City Donuts, the don't break the bank and they're delicious. The employee that helped us today (I wish I got his name!) was so pleasant and kind to me and my family, we'll definitely be coming back! ??

They LEGIT have the BEST TASTING MAPLE BARS I?ve ever had! I LOVE how their doughnuts AREN?T DRY, they have a beautifully Moist taste and you can still enjoy them a couple days later if you don?t finish them in 1 day!

We?ve gone to this place a few times and they?ve always been really good! But we went a few days ago and were very disappointed. Spent $40 on donuts for half of them to taste like mold. There were no visible mold spots but the mold taste was very strong. It was only the basic base donuts that tasted that way. The fritters and cake donuts were all fine but everything else tasted awful.

Pretty good donuts! We got an apple fritter, didn?t taste Apple. Still surprisingly good. Got a Boston cream filled donut, taste good not enough filling. Still good donuts fresh and inexpensive 4 donuts we paid $7

Really good donuts. I've been in a few times and almost everything has been top notch and better than donuts I've had elsewhere. Most recently I tried blueberry fritters. The fritter there are fantastic as are the tried and true maple bars and bismarks.

The freshest and largest selection of donuts - they even have bear claws! Soda, milk, and bottled water for drinking. Ice cream, breakfast sandwiches, and bagels are good, too. The do UT shop is clean, decent parking, and now a gas station and Fast Oil Change is in the same area.

Normally give 5 stars all the way around but this new employee or new to me obviously didn't want to be at work.. rushed my order didn't get the right donuts and felt pushed out the door.. not only wrong donuts in the box but would have ordered more and wanted to try biscuits and gravy but again felt pushed out of the door and at 10 am ?

Not a clean donut shop at all. Gnats flying everywhere. And who ever thought making the display case location to see what donuts you are choosing as the customer was a poor decision, I want a case I can see clearly. Also they had hardly any donuts to choose from anyway. All around bottom of the list for donuts in Salem. VERY over priced.

Competitive with most good donut shops in the area. Lighter and more flavorful base donut for cake and traditional. No custard in the Boston or custard filled, it's pudding. The fritters (specially the blueberry) are great!

Delicious fresh donuts, the only place in Salem I found to have light fluffy french crullers. The person I've met the past 5 donut runs is always willing to help right away and get our office loaded up on sugar. Definitely a great stop to make and being open 24/7 is amazing! Very good, traditional American donuts, friendly service, Covid-careful, clean shop, open all day, and they have French crullers, which almost no one makes anymore. I?d say they deserve a solid 4, but I?m going to rate them 5 stars to balance out some undeserved low ratings (which I never do, but seems warranted here). I got the worst chicken. I have ever gotten my life at a Safeway. However, the manager tried to make it right. Which still was awful? So then she gave me a whole chicken in replace of my four piece, All and all it's not what I wanted. And I didn't really eat it but she tried to make me happy.

Best donuts available 24 /7 . They always have a full case to choose from no matter what time I visit. The staff is patient when I'm having a hard time deciding what my picks will be. (odd taste)We get donuts here once a month or so and they have always tasted good but tonight we picked up a dozen variety donuts and I noticed they had a odd almost perfume taste? And a faint scent I want to almost say like as if someone had been burning incense or cleaning with pine sol while the donuts were being prepared, didn't taste right and I couldn't eat them ?? hopefully it's just a one time experience. We went in about 3:30pm. Donuts tasted fresh and really really yummy! Lots to choose from. The hot chocolate was also really good (the small is like a kids size so a little smaller than I expected but that's my fault) Good biskets, gravy was a little better than a gas station. Love that it's 24 hours. I was driving from Corvallis to Portland at night and wanted a quick stop about halfway to rest my brain for a minute. Was able to pop in and grab some donuts for the road. Bonus is there's also a convenience store in the same parking lot. Donuts weren't the best, but it was late at night so you can't expect them to be the freshest. I would equate their texture/toppings to Dunkin.

I?ve been here a couple times, and each experience was about the same. The staff was helpful and friendly, they have a HUGE selection (more flavors of filled donuts than anyplace I?ve been). Each time, the donuts were soft and fluffy, without a hint of being stale. One of the best parts is that the powdered sugar ones aren?t completely caked in powdered sugar. Amazing. Biscuits and gravy was decent, and I don't give that compliment lightly. Prices were right, and while I didn't mean to have them that long, donuts once refrigerated are still fresh a week later. Absolutely love this place and it's my new local hit up.

I love this place the filled coconut donuts are amazing and remind me of an amazing friend of mine who passed away. Always on my top 3 favorite places to meet friends and have brunch. Typically around 11 am they are still fresh and the milk and donuts are always so freshing.

I'd say one of the things to this review is that everything was good, the only issue was the fact that when I was there I didn't see very many options granted I went there at a weird time so I would excuse that. Anyway, good place to check out doughnuts if you like doughnuts. They also have chocolate and strawberry milk and some other beverages in case you're someone who likes to get doughnuts with drinks.

Went in today for the first. I must say that not only was I impressed with the brightness and cleanliness but also the huge variety. The prices were great. Doughnuts fresh, very fresh. We had a hefty order and the gal behind the counter was really quick with our order, doughnuts, 2 mochas and a small biscuits and gravy. Her service and personality is enough to bring us back. Went into the West Salem location. Specifically upfront, I asked if I could get a meal minus the coffee and felt like I was understood. Don?t think it helped that dude behind the counter had a headphone in and was speaking to someone constantly while on the clock? Bought a couple dozen donuts for my work crew here. They were bland. Not bad, just not real tasty. Probably go to safeway next time.

I found the location was easy to get in and out of. The selection is more than I expected. There is a convenience store next to it. A few harmless homeless, so drive slow in lot. The raspberry fritter didn't have raspberry flavor....but was tasty as a fried fritter goes. No fruit in it so just a plain fritter really.

It was my first time there and the cashier was rude and impatient even though it was not busy at all. She was not helpful and made me feel rushed even though there was no other customers. I don't understand why she feels she can treat her customers that way.

The selection of donuts is fantastic, they have so many different choices! Everything we have tried is really good, the donuts are always fresh and soft. The prices are great as well, along with the friendly staff. We swing by here once a week now, it's our new donut shop.

Staff was very friendly and the place was clean..honestly was a little disappointed in the fritters (apple, cherry and raspberry) just a bit too oily and more fruit flavor than fruit. Also took home a glazed, a twist and a strawberry filled.. they redeemed themselves on those. I wouldn't make a special trip there but would stop again if I was in the area.

I love this place, with the exception of the fritters. I just felt they were overcooked. I like them crunchy on the outer part, but mine was that way to the center making it dry. My favorite are the lemon filled with powdered sugar...yes, I could eat 1 or 2 daily without any problem. I just hate (and love) that they are so close to were I live. Maybe an ? of a mile, yeah, way close! Anyway, they are fresh and really good and I hope they do very well in their endeavours.

I went to this doughnut shop today it was clean and had a pretty good selection. My kids liked the donuts and the customer service was good. I'm only giving the shop 3 stars because I ordered a breakfast sandwich and what they gave me was a Jimmy Dean microwavable breakfast sandwich???? As an establishment that sells food if you are going to sell people microwavable breakfast sandwiches you should at least let them know ahead of time... Especially since they are a little over $8 a Box at the grocery store??

It was just ok. The lady wasn't very friendly. The donuts were just like being at daynnight donuts. Nothing special. There were no napkins for my kids or myself anywhere to grab and unfortunately there was someone else in line behind us. I told my kids that it was ridiculous that they didn't have any napkins anywhere. Another gentleman heard us and asked the lady for some napkins when he was ordering his donuts and gave us some. This will be a one time visit.

By far the best donuts in Salem. You can tell a good donut shop by the simple glazed donut. The donuts here are soft and moist like a donut is supposed to be. My family tried the guava jelly, oreo cookie, and red velvet too. The best!

Came in to experience what dude donut city is all about, bought 2 dozen donuts and 2 coffees , customer service was on point , the shop appeared very cleanly , got home and couldn?t eat any of the donuts because they tasted like they were fried In rancid cooking oil . Disappointed ??

Donuts are really good, but if there is a lady with black hair and glasses, I suggest you go another time. She was super rude to me. I ordered an iced coffee and got a cup of cream and sugar, so I nicely asked if I could get a side cup of coffee to add to it and make it less sweet. She made a scene and slammed a cup of coffee on the counter at me. Everyone in the store was also in awe at how rude she was.

We purchased four donuts loved the variety of different choices not your basic options although they do carry regular donuts like other shops. We got a guava , cream cheese, Bavarian cream and blackberry one 3 were powdered and one glazed they were delicious.

Great donuts. Don?t order the croissant or English muffin sandwich?s. I got mine and realized they resold me some Jimmy Dean croissant egg and sausage sandwich. Donuts were good, the .49 cent fee if you spend less than $10 is bogus, it's illegal to charge you to spend your own money and yes I argued this with them. I was paying with debit not credit so therefore that fee shouldn't have applied at all. Watch out for businesses like this. Otherwise, again, the donuts are good.

I went in to buy a dozen donuts for my son?s soccer team. I was given 2-3 napkins at first. I asked for more and I was given 2-3 more. I explained that I was getting a donut for the soccer team and that I would need one balking per donut. I was told I couldn?t have anymore napkins and that there?s a limit. This was after I had already paid and left a tip. I will never come back here. This was my first and last time to this establishment.

For starters, the place is in a brand new strip mall in south Salem, so the building is clean and esthetically pleasing inside and out. You can only order from the clerk. No self serve. They have coffee and specialty drinks, along with other breakfast food. It reminds me of a better version of Day/Night doughnuts. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have called 5 times trying to get assistance on a priory visit in the store. I've been hung up on the phone 3x. Everyday I call they say to call back tomorrow. I went there today. because the Statesman Journal made them sound so good. I ordered a croissant sandwich and all they had was sausage and egg (2 left). As my wife was walking out, a gentleman was walking in with 2 boxes of Jimmy Dean croissant sandwiches...never again!!
