Got a lot of ice cream for a great price. Ice cream was delicious.
We were in need of a sweet treat so we decided to stop at the Teepee. What an awesome experience we had here. The service was good and our treats and food was delicious! Not only do they offer a large variety of ice cream treats, but they also had a good selection of burgers, sandwiches, and deep fried foods to fill your tummy. I ordered a hot fudge brownie sundae and deep fried sweet banana pepper rings. I've never seen these on any other menu, but they definitely should be because they're amazing!! The n
We have family on the island so we come up every year for a few weeks. The Teepee is part of our traditions and we look forward to it every year. The treats are delicious, we love the addition of coffee, and the service is fantastic! Many thanks for all the great ice cream and all the amazing nights of fantastic service and dealing with our huge family.
Holy cow! We should have asked how big the onion rings were before we ordered. They were huge! Their bag was bigger and heavier than the cheesebugers. The cheeseburgers were about 1/3 of a pound cooked like what reminded me of a slider. And the night before we had a coffee milkshake that was amazing! When I go back to Drummond Island I will be going visiting the Teepee again! Outdoor seating, or to go only. This is a happy costumer's review! Thank you Teepee for the great food, keep up the good work!
Great Hot Dogs! Everybody liked them.... Lots more on than menu than ice cream... can?t wait to go back.
We stopped multiple times over the course of the weekend!! Really great portions, good prices (especially for a touristy area), and had ample parking. There is a covered outdoor space to eat, as well as corn hole (bags) to play in the back. We only had the ice cream and not a full meal, but heard good reviews about the main dishes. Ice cream was tasty and the people serving were very nice !
The TeePee of Drummond. . . . Wow !!!! What a Awesome group of people!!! My Girlfriend along with her family goes to the Island & the TeePee every year. I couldn't make it, but needed a gift card as a surprise for her Birthday. Made arrangements with the folks at the TeePee, They took care of EVERYTHING right down to the Birthday card, & posters on the windows to surprise her with !!! Great food & so accommodating. They kept me in the loop on progress of things they we're handling the whole time ?? Ju
Really good ice cream, had a flurry and their ice cream tasted very similar to Dairy Queen.
Excellent food and ice cream. I was very surprised! We stopped with a large group and they had everyone's orders up quickly! If you're in the area you have to stop in and try the fried food. Amazing onion rings, deep fried banana peppers, it was all soooo good.
Great ice cream spot on the island. Kids enjoyed it. They have a little play area for the kids. Decently priced desserts. We are always satisfied for sure. Will always go back whenever we are there in the summer. Thanks for making our summer vacations great!
Delicious ice cream and food! The cheeseburger and fries were a delicious lunch, and the shakes and ice cream sundaes were soooooo good! Be sure to stop here when you?re on Drummond Island!
Probably the best soft serve ice cream I've ever had! The older lady that was waiting on us, extremly rude, sarcastic and why? I only ordered a medium smswirl cone... not being difficult. So customer service needs a re-check.
We pulled up on a Sunday at 8:09pm. They close at 8pm on Sunday. The lady who I assume is the owner allowed us to order, and a few minutes later allowed another group of people to order. I really appreciated that. That kind of customer service isn't around much anymore. I highly recommend coming here. The choices are endless.
Great place for food and ice cream is awesome! Prices are good for the portion as well. I forgot to mention. This is now a must stop when on Drummomd Island!!!
I?ve been going to De Tour Village my entire life (34years) and have never been to Drummond Island. My husband and I wanted to do a daytime activity so we looked up things to do on Drummond. He found this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! Staff was friendly, grilled cheese, deep fried pickles, fries, hot dog and hamburger was AMAZING!
The family used to go here when we were little back in the 70's. Still great ice cream, the onion rings and fried mushrooms are delicious. My son said the corn dogs are the best he's ever had, perfectly cooked. (Granddaughter of Stan and Bertha Gilbert)
Okay, so if you just want a great burger, or fried mushrooms, or a great chicken sandwich, there is no place like the DI Teepee. Icecream? What icecream? Oh, yeah, they do have great icecream, too, but I go for the burgers and fries. Every time. It never disappoints, and I have tried many a time.

We were there this weekend curious how CV19 would have changed our beloved Teepee. Wow! Way to go guys! Social distanced The tables and everyone was wearing gloves and masks. THANK YOU!! And the food was great as always! Be back soon!
Busy, but they do their best with a crowd. Staff is even super helpful to those with food allergies. Everything yummy except their malts. So get the Dole whip twist!
Great food, everything you want to eat but shouldn't. Fast and friendly service as well. Will more than likely be repeat offenders while we stay on the island.
Really great Ice cream. Really thick. Way better than DQ. 2 out of the 4 in my family liked it. So it is a hit or miss deal.
