Adorable bakery that shares a space with the Old Abe restaurant. We tried all the vegan donut flavors (the blueberry and cinnamon sugar were our favorites, but the flavors rotate). All the vegan donuts were cake donuts; I was kind of hoping to try a raised donut but unsure whether that?s just not the focus or if it just wasn?t in the rotation on the day we went. Super cute cafe with unique donuts, drinks, and cozy atmosphere. Upstairs lounging area with lots of seating. Lots of cute Knick-knacks all around and artwork.

We only stopped by real quick to grab a couple donuts and go to our next destination, but picked up a Yuzu Lingonberry donut and a Peach Cobbler. We were fighting over that Lingonberry one though haha , it was delicious! Peach was still very good though. Wish I lived closer to try out different ones all the time!

Just visited today and got three GF donuts: vanilla sprinkle, maple, and chocolate raspberry. All three were DELICIOUS!!! I haven?t had a donut in almost 4 years, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! They are also at a very affordable price!!!

Drift Dough has awesome donuts. Reasonable prices and quality goods. I would definitely recommend getting some for yourself. Atmosphere is chill and laid back. Employees are friendly and informative. The Springfield donut is my favorite, yummy.

Most things tasted great. The bagel was one of the tastiest, softest bagels I've ever had. The smoothies were a bit too veggie non sweet but that was the only imperfection. Great style and music.

I first heard of Drift Dough though social media and decided to check it out. They have unique flavors for donuts such as Chai Tea, Cotton candy, Thai Tea, Pomegranate Raspberry and more. They rip through doughnuts so fast that you had better not sleep in if you want the best selection. The cold brew coffee is hands down the best I've had in Rochester! The doughnuts are fresh and delicious. If I had any complaint it would be how long the wait it was to get donuts. But then again they are new and crazy busy still working out the Kinks I would imagine. Beautiful and delicious donuts, with interesting and always-changing flavors! You can never try just one. Local coffee is another perk, along with loads of espresso options.

My boys and I love cute bakeries. This one was above and beyond the moment we walked it be staff greeted us. We had our food quickly. The atmosphere was a whole vibe. The music and seating were definitely fun. It made the Sunday outing a great start! Definitely will be back weekly!

I'd say Drift Dough is one of Rochester's best-kept secrets, but the fact that they almost always sell out of doughnuts before the end of the day suggests that I'm not the only person who knows how lucky we are to have a bakery that offers inventive flavors, gluten-free and vegan options, and delicious coffee drinks to boot. If you're vegan, I highly recommend the coconut doughnut - it's not a consolation prize by any stretch of the imagination.

Great variety of donuts, pretty and delicious! I brought to the boring beige office and it cheered everything up. Also, really nice folks working there and the decor was amazing! Next time I will stay and soak it up!

We Live out of town my wife is celiac. We got 12 ?gluten free donuts? My wife ate a donut on are way back to my mothers house she started getting symptoms of ingesting gluten. We spent the rest of our entire Easter alone with a trash can by her and the bathroom ready. If your celiac or have a gluten intolerance. Don?t risk it here.

The coffee is always great with amazing service. The staff are always so happy and excited to see you I'm not how they are that excited every single time. That atmosphere and things in the shop are always so much fun to look at. The donuts are of course amazing with some wild flavors that you just don't get anywhere else!

Absolutely delicious donuts, yes with vegan options, just ask for daily varieties. Remember there isn't one type of donut - these are more cake like, with a soft crumbly interior, very dense, substantial and filling. I thought they were very flavorful and perfectly made. It's set up to be trendy but the actual doughnuts are a fairly average cake recipe. The doughnut names are neat but the flavor isn't much more than flavored frosting versus fresh ingredients, jams, etc. Skip the weight and grab a doughnut at your local convenience store. Priced for luxury, taste for just above average.

Honestly. It's a good place, small business handed, very good product. Out of the 6, I got, the flavor kinda all ran together. No real wow factor! Outside of that the only down fall was the price...... I know good product cost a penny. But $10.50 for 6 donuts seems a little excessive. I've had better donuts at cheaper places. I'm all for small business's but I'd rather take that money too my hometown bakery that has been there for 50 plus years.

Hands down the best donuts in town, vegan or otherwise. Few places in town are worth going out of your way for, but Drift Dough is a heavy hitter and makes Rochester taste great. I get mine to go and eat them in the studio or office with my coffee. Glad to see them in their new home at Old Abe?s.

Sadly I cannot recommend this place for getting your donut fix. We ordered 4 different kinds but thought they all lacked flavor. The cake donut may be ok, but the frosting seems to taste like if you were to mix powdered sugar with skim milk and nothing else and just makes the donut taste bland and ?off.? Coffee was good and offers one refill. Overall considering the size and lack of flavor, these pretty little donuts are way overpriced!

We used to not be lucky enough to have donuts most of the time when we went to Forager for lunch in Saturday or Sunday morning at 11. Now, though, there are still donuts available! Cute place with kind employees. The donuts were not super awesome though. Pretty dry and some didn?t really have any flavor. We did like the fruity cereal one and we would consider going back again.

I stopped today to buy some doughnuts for my coworkers! The employee who helped me was very friendly. I was able to pick up four dozen doughnuts! The quality of these doughnuts was impeccable. So much time went into them. They taste spectacular! Will be going again! The fruity pebble and cinnamon crunch were among my staff's favorites!

Ordered in advance and they completed my order perfectly. They also made me an amazing lavender and honey oat milk latte. So yummy! We order these whenever we have family or friends coming in from out of town and they are always blown away by the quality and taste!

Not impressed. The chocolate covered gluten free was bland and too dense. The staff was not very friendly or warm. They seemed bothered that they had a customer. It was only 11:30am. The coffee was so-so. Only cake doughnuts are available. Personally...I found the supermarket across the street to have better selection and friendlier staff. It's always nice to try something new. This won't be a repeat visit however...

What a fantastic donut shop!! My wife and I were thrilled to learn they have gluten free donuts. They also have several variations of vegan donuts. I love the imaginative donut flavors. Keep an eye on their Instagram channel for the current flavors, they do a great job of posting regular updates. Also, be sure to try the nitro brew coffee or kombucha. Both are fantastic.

Not great donuts. Tried 6 different kinds. None stood out as something I would ever have to eat again. The coffee may be stellar and the restaurant is ok but the donuts being served are disappointing. Meh. In my opinion it shouldnt really be called a doughnut shop as they only have cake doughnuts with various frosting flavors. I grabbed a half dozen on my second visit(the first time they were sold out) and wasn't impressed with any of them. The coffee was good but I wouldn't pay that much for my sugar fix when there are other options in town that do more than cake.

First of all, they only do cake doughnuts. If I am going for doughnuts, its not for the cake doughnuts, although I do buy some cake doughnuts and done RIGHT cake doughnuts are great. I came in thinking this was a donut shop. First, there is only enough parking for maybe, 2 cars. Very unsafe since it?s on a busy street, second, when I walked in they only had a display of 6 or 7 different donuts. When I asked the girl working the counter if that was all the donuts they have, she said yes. Very disappointing.

A brewery that serves donuts! They were delicious. We brought our 3 kids under 5 and the guy working there seemed a little annoyed that it took our kids a while to decide what they wanted even though there was nobody else waiting. Nice outdoor patio.

My dad and I headed here while waiting for my mom who was at an appointment. Perfect spot for a great catch-up conversation. We ordered three different kinds of doughnuts, cut them up into bite size pieces, and enjoyed with coffee. Wowza! Delicious doughnuts, fabulous coffee, great staff, and lovely vibe. Forager Brewing (shares the space) was already a good meeting spot, now even better.

Update: have gone back 5 times in the last two weeks at various times in the morning and early afternoon with no luck getting doughnuts. Now I'm starting to get disheartened and feel like a junkie.

Fun spot for higher-end but whimsical doughnut treats. Nice variety of sweet and tart options with unique special offerings. And the coffee from Impact is always top-notch. Definitely check it out.

It?s an adorable space although not very calming becaus the restaurant is always busy. I?ve only been there once but the doughnuts look better than they taste. I had a grapefruit kombucha that was really good though!

I love these doughnuts and supporting local businesses but two out of the three times I?ve went they?re sold out of their doughnuts and never has the nitro cold brew which shows up first on their menu when you search their menu online. If you don?t have any product how are you supposed to reach customers? At least kwick trip across the street always has doughnuts so I?m just going to go there now ?????

Excellent doughnuts! Has different toppings which my kiddo really enjoyed. Another perk is you have a place to sit and enjoy your coffee and doughnuts! Also, free refills on coffee.

The coffee wasn?t bad, but the donuts were very dry, they felt like day olds. For the price I expected a lot more. I?m not sure how it works to sell donuts like these with Daube?s Bakery just down the street. I would not go back.
