Favorite place in Berkeley ?? cheap, tasty, loved the atmosphere and they were super nice about EVERYTHING. I spent a lot of mornings just hanging out there alone or with my friends. God only knows how much I miss their donuts ???? my friend drove me there at 6 am in the morning my last day in the Bay just so I could have them one last time. Please if you?re in town you HAVE to try them! You won?t be disappointed. Their donuts just melt in your mouth!

This place looks like it?s been there a while and parts of it remind me of an old Woolworth dining counter. The cooked foods are basic, affordable and homey, donuts are popular! The shop is also open early, like 4am early on some days! One of my favorite places.

Lives up to its name. Fluffy gorgeous donut texture. Great dough, texture, and raise on the bread with all sorts of classic donuts. Not necessarily the same type of 'boutique' feel with elderberry, matcha, trendy flavors. But -amazing- mostly old fashioned -incredibly- done donuts. Also the breakfast sandwiches are good if you are looking for protein and something to balance out the sugar. Also. Specials before 8am for paying cash.

Their donuts are delicious, although the variety is pretty basic. Breakfast sandwiches are large and delicious. Coffee is great too (and better than surrounding coffee shops). Last but not least, the service is outstanding - I came by at 1pm the other day not realizing they closed at noon - they still let me in and made me a sandwich and donuts ??

One of the last real donut shops! Fantastic coffee, great customer service and DELICIOUS donuts - all made right there. The owner has been here since the 80s, and is still able to maintain a fantastic attitude. I?m so glad I found this spot.

I don't know why it took us so long to get here! Popped in for donuts today. We were immediately greated and felt welcomed. The selection looked delicious and fresh. I did a "too good to go" grab bag from the app by that name. You reserve it ahead of time and go in during the window of time they tell you. Totally will do it again. The shop was super cute and the people were friendly. I got all of this for $3.99! Check out the app to lower food waste and support a small business at the same time.

This place has been an institution for our family. Their cake donuts are the best we have had, and their egg sandwiches and burritos are huge and delicious. Their prices are still very fair but the family is what makes it the best part with their friendliness.

If you haven't gone to Dream Fluff, you're eating the wrong donuts. It's front entrance may be hard to miss, but do not skip over this spot. Classic, no frills donuts done really, really well. The huge apple fritter is the best I've ever had - good to split between three people (or not...). The cinnamon/sugar and traditional glazed are a must.

This place is the best! We ordered donuts for our wedding here, and the only regret is that we didn't order more! We got 150 donuts and they were gone within the first 30 minutes. Since this is a local mom and pop I didn?t let the hole in the wall ambience prevent myself from ordering. I am glad I gave this place a try. The BLT sandwich was amazing. I had it on a toasted everything bagel. The bagel was toasted on all sides and was warm and fluffy at the center. I could tell the bagel was fresh. The bacon was thick and cooked to the perfect crispy and chewiness. There is a wide selection of hot breakfast items, sandwiches and burgers. I will be back to try more.

Wonderful! And early opening place, unusual for this area. Open 6AM weekends and 4AM weekdays. Also have vegan donuts. My favorite are blueberry and apple fritters, but they have all kinds of egg options too. And very reasonable!

Best donuts in the East Bay. Breakfast menu is extensive and cheap. Couple that own and operate this joint take great pride in setting themselves apart from just another donut shop. The donuts are undercooked and the bags are disgusting, my hands were covered in sticky goop before I even touched the donut. Someone also dug a cup out the garbage outside and walked through everyone in line at the shop to take coffee from the counter. Apparently it?s a regular thing. This place is filthy.

Of all the doughnuts, from all the different places we ate at on our trip to Oakland/San Francisco/Napa Valley... These were the BEST doughnuts by far. Even rivaling our two favorite spots in our home city, Atlanta. The kids proclaimed them BETTER than Atlanta's. So there's that!

The family who runs this place is very nice, and they really have gone above and beyond to make it work during this COVID times. A hidden gem in Berkeley. Great breakfasts, tasty pastries. A little small and slow with prepping everything because of customers, but will go again in a heart beat.

One would think that racism wouldn't be an issue in this day and age in California but it is definitely alive and well at this shop.
