Downtown Donuts

This was on our 2 hour drive Foodie trip. Y'all, if you are anywhere near this place, you have to stop. I've always been a KK donut girl, but Downtown Donuts has changed my mind. I'm trying to find someone who can help me get my next fix of these donuts. The price is great compared to the size and taste of these monster sizes melt in your mouth fresh donuts! Spent some time in the local area and stopped by this donut shop. Highly recommend this place if you enjoy good donuts. The dough was soft, pillowy, and slightly chewy. The filled donuts contained a good amount of filling as well. They are probably some of the higher-priced donuts you'll find, but honestly, they were some of the best donuts I've had in years. The size of the donuts was fairly large as well. The twist was almost as long as the box.

I got 2 dozen glazed donuts and them jawns were fire. I will definitely be back. Here's a photo of the second box because the first one is gone.

The maple bars are amazing! That's my go to. The texture, amount of frosting, the size, just perfect. Haven't gone early enough to get my husband's favorite. They get sold out. Today that's going to change. I hope.

If you've never been here you're in for a treat. The donuts here are fantastic and I would say the best in the area. I like donuts that are a little more dense and are not lightweight, so these are perfect. The owner is a very nice person. Although it looks like a little hole in the wall place you will see that it's always busy. Get you some because they are very good.

Fresh donuts and quick service, what more can you ask for. It's definitely worth going and supporting local business. They are just as good as the big chain donut shop.

I love these donuts! They have so many varieties. Cake donuts are my favorite and I always go with death by chocolate or one of the three red velvet variations (glazed, cream cheese, or cream cheese with nuts). My daughter loves the colorful sprinkle yeast donuts. I'm glad a second location was opened because the cake donuts go fast!

Downtown Doughnuts has exceptional pastries. I love the doughnut options and the variety of coffee and milk products that they have there. You can even pick up some OK as well! Make sure you get there early because they shut down shop once the doughnuts sell out. I am always happy to shop there.

The best donuts in the area! Lots of flavors to choose from. Cream/jelly filled, cinnamon, sprinkles, glazed, sugar coated and even red velvet. Fresh and made daily at the location.

The best, for sure! Worth a drive to Enterprise, they have all finest quality glazed or various designer donuts around! My favorites are Simoan, maple bacon, and maple pecan.

I have enjoyed many donuts in large cities including the famous Voodoo Donuts in Portland, Oregon. The donuts here are among the very best. The large sugar donuts were so light and flavorful. The red velvet donuts was moist and delicious. Great to pick up some for the beach.

This place is soooooo good! I had a vanilla donut with sprinkles and it was the best donut I?ve ever eaten. I was so excited to eat the donut that I didn?t even get to take a picture of it!

I honestly don't know why on earth anyone would EVER go anywhere else after eating these donuts. Holy moly. I've never eaten a better donut. I came back for Captain's Career Course and was sad Daylight Donuts is gone but wow these kill anything else.

The donuts are great! They have a limited supply of special donuts, so you need to go early or miss out. They have a great selection of creative and spirited donuts but I feel as the overall quality is surpassed by some more major donut makers but they have the top spot for most creative while having great quality. A must visit if travelling through Enterprise, AL and like/love those sweet pastries!

They serve some of the best donuts I've ever had. My wife and I used to travel from Ozark to get their donuts but now that we've moved to Enterprise we will visit there more often. Great donuts and great staff. But get there early; they sell out fairly quickly. They have a good assortment of flavors and types of donuts and pastries.

There is no way that my words are going to describe just how good this place is. I saw the lights on two hours and 45 minutes before they were supposed to be open. I stopped in by chance, just to see if I could get a donut or two before they opened. Not only did they let me in but they treated me like family. The donuts are good but last time I went there was a bug in the case with the donuts. The lady working removed the bug then gave me donuts from in the case where the bug was. There were tons of donuts on the trays behind her which were not where the bug was. She could have atleast in front of me and the customer behind me got different donuts for us. At this point, Downtown Donuts is a staple of Enterprise. They host a wide variety of different sweets, with each other tasting amazing. It?s a fair price to pay for what you get. The staff is friendly and great people, hardworking and efficient. I?d highly recommend trying this place if you?re having cravings!

Best donuts I've had in the tri state area.

Manager has poor customer service, bad social skills, and donuts were dry and crusty. She smokes right out front the store. Very unprofessional. Didn't give me correct change at first either. I had to correct her. Needs many improvements at this location. Maybe one day I'll give it another shot if these main criterias are met for this establishment. Needs to improve cleanliness as well. Counters were filthy.

The donuts have a quality that I have never found anywhere else. When you first bite into the donuts you get a slight bit of firmness, then comes the airy, sweet, fluffy and flakey goodness that rounds out the whole experience. My favorite is the Apple-Cinnamon. If Christmas were a donut the Apple-Cinnamon would be it - enough said.

The donuts were excellent, but I have one big issue. I ordered two dozen and by the time I got home there were three missing. No big deal, I still have 21 donuts left. Then when I took them to my friends house and opened them up after I go there I only found 15 donuts... The only explanation is that there must be some sort of defect with their boxes. Please figure this out! I want to continue my patronage!

Best donuts ever. I bought donuts for work. I ordered the Valentine's Day donuts. They were ready for pick up for the time I requested. I will be ordering more for Saint Patrick's Day. I'm very pleased with Downtown Donuts in Enterprise.

Great great donuts! My main stop when visiting Enterprise, AL. This was me then...2yrs ago Today is July 19th, 2019..I don't buy the donuts much anymore because they must have changed the recipe. It is crusted with sugar and overall not pleasant. I loved them cold, now I can't even eat them hot. They are now, too sweet

I didn't get to go to the actual shop, but the owners of the mini golf course in Enterprise gave us a few donuts to take home that they had near closing. I have to say the large size, variety of flavors, and the taste are all amazing. Can't wait to come by shop for myself and try them fresh and hot.

Recently moved to the area and it's hard finding many things that compare to the things I miss from home, but these donuts are delicious and make me feel like I don't need the ones from back home. The absolute best donuts in the Wiregrass area! Most are as big as your face! The glazed are perfection. Try an apple cinnamon long John. The old fashioned glazed is a top contender as well.

Delicious!!! Quite a variety as well. I came for one of the maple-bacon donuts and it was amazing. BIG chunks of bacon! They appeared to be out but I asked and they were able to make some more. I've heard the filled and red velvet are amazing as well.

First time here- had a carrot cake donut and it was awesome!

Although the donuts are always great. I was taken a back by the use of a garden hose and nozzle to clean dishes and trays. I was shocked literally by a circuit board that was laying on my table when my hand touched it and plugged into an overloaded wall plug. Health and general safety standards are appalling.

Doughnuts were absolutely wonderful and the staff was very friendly. We got an assorted dozen and specified that we had family members severely allergic to coconuts and peanuts. As soon as we got home we soon discovered what we thought was a chocolate glazed doughnut to be peanut butter and chocolate. Even after we mentioned the anaphylaxis allergy twice and the man grabbing the doughnuts indicated understanding of the situation.

We love the donuts here, some of the best we?ve ever had. I would give the donuts a 5 star but recently, my mother-in-law pre-ordered donuts almost 24 hours in advance (we love the Reese and Maple Bacon donuts!) and they called us 3 hours before pick-up that they ran out of Maple Bacon so we had to switch our order. What is the point of pre-ordering donuts if you don?t actually get what you ordered (and pre-paid for)??? Very disappointed.

The donuts are very good, but I don't understand why I come in at 6:45 in the morning to get two dozen donuts, and I'm told that I'm too early to pick up apple fritters or bear claws??? I cant express how awesome the entire staff here is. David is the coolest and most generous human being I have ever met. The doughnuts here are HUGE and well worth every penny spent. Everytime my family and I walk in we are welcomed with a smile and a friendly staff eager to serve the community. I'd even go as far as says that Downtown Doughnuts is the heartbeat to the community and it's all thanks to David's excellent leadership and his staffs knowledge and kindness. Always a favorite! I work nights at the hospital and my daughter asked if I would bring home some yummy donuts. Different types of donuts but the original glazed is my favorite. Coffee and an array of creamers to choose from as well.

I got a BOGO coupon in the mail, used it, and was not disappointed!! The donuts were fresh, the variety was unmatched and the taste was fantastic. These Donuts are amazing! I get about 3 dozen a week for my company and it has made "Donut Day" a hit with local customers. We give out a donut with the purchase of a comic book at Fanatix Comics and Games (Westgate Plaza in Enterprise and Fountain Plaza in Dothan) and some customers have purchased a comic just so they could get their Donut!! They are that good!

They always give me trouble about my emotional support dog bc she is too small for a vest. The manager today was much nicer than a few weeks ago when I was told no dogs allowed without even being asked if she was a service animal.

I was in Enterprise today looking at the possibility of moving home after 45 years. I was downtown looking for something to eat when I saw the Donut shop with great parking. I walked in and it's a little small but wow, the young lady that helped me was so nice and beautiful. She is from Puerta RICO she told me. The donuts were unbelievable. Coffee could be upgraded to a full brewed machine. That Beauty queen made the experience 100%!!! She has my card lol
