Delicious all vegan donuts! It didn?t hurt that service was super friendly and the shop is very cute too. Hope to be back whenever in town to get some of their flavors that were out since I went towards the end of the day.

TOP notch everything. Service: 5 stars. Donuts: 5 stars. Ambiance: 5 stars. Appropriately named because I leave filled with joy from my amazing vegan sweet treat and the sweet feeling of seeing the awesome people who run this great place ??? FAVE donut shop EVER! ??

Decided to stop in on my way home from a stressful, early morning doctor?s appointment. The maybe 5 minutes I spent inside turned my whole morning around (maybe the donut had something to do with it too lol.) Overall perfect vibe, There was a small line when I arrived and the worker was blasting Marina, I got a maple bar for myself and two gluten free donuts for my partner who has celiac. I asked the worker about their celiac safety precautions and they let me know that they have a completely seperate bake

Walked in at 1 pm or so. All donuts were sold out. Should tell you how good the place is. Was still greeted by the friendliest person I think I've met since moving to Seattle. The interior is beautiful, fantastic, kind staff. Was offered the remaining donut holes and was absolutely not disappointed I took them up on their offer. Probably some of the best donut holes I've had in my life. The cinnamon and the glazed with sprinkles were fantastic. My wife and I couldn't stop eating them until they were unfortu

Such a fun vegan donut shop! Tried almost every option with a group of friends. My favorite was the Strawberry Milkshake. Didn?t love the Everything but the Bagel myself but there was no way we weren?t going to at least try it!

Hands down the best vegan donut I?ve had. Light, fluffy, highly recommend the Bavarian cream and Vanilla Biscoff. A lovely treat!

Loved everything about this cutie donut shop! We ordered a dozen, and were especially stoked about the bavarian cream filled! The donut hole on the coffee was a nice touch too. ??

Amazing doughnuts, tasty drinks! Got the rose and lavender seasonal. Absolutely loved them. Blueberry fritters, best I've had. Go take care of your sweet cravings here! Hurry up before they're gone! We got a lavender macha and a chai lavender latte, and we took them home and made two drinks from each. They were so strong, they were like concentrated. So it turned out to be two for ones! Am I going back? Is water wet?

This should be voted as one of the top donut shops in the country, vegan or otherwise. The staff is so friendly and seem genuinely happy to see you. Great selections of different flavors. Majority of the donuts are yeast raised, but there are a small selection of cake donuts. Creative flavors, amazing taste.

I love dough joy! First visited them as a pop up and truck in Ballard, and have been going since. The donuts have definitely gotten better over time, which is why I keep going back. I love the creative seasonal flavors! They are the best vegan raised donuts I?ve ever had, they also recently started making gluten free cake donuts, which are also tasty but I prefer the raised. My favorite flavors they always have are the strawberry milkshake, French toast, and maple bar. Such a classic maple bar! I love the

Fantastic donuts! They had six gluten free AND vegan options (two seasonal) which are amazing! The regular donuts are of such high quality making the prices worth it. Happy to support such an awesome product and place. Hope they are around for a long time! So yummy and recommended!

I went to Dough Joy for my first time today and it?s amazing! The person at the register was so friendly and the donuts and coffee are delicious! Not many donut shops have good coffee, and this place is totally vegan! I love the Bavarian cream donut, it?s so good and I wouldn?t know it was vegan if I didn?t buy it myself! The cold brew is awesome and they even have an oat-based half and half that makes the coffee even better. They even gave me a complimentary donut hole with my coffee that was really good,

An absolute donut gem here in Seattle! Amazing for plant-based eaters and just as good for those that consume anything... seriously! Dough Joy offers donuts, drinks, and a wonderful ambiance. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. We purchased a coupon online for a donut/drinks special, so definitely look for one before coming here to save! Their old fashioned donuts are amazing as well as their puffy brownie/rainbow ones, fitting for the area. Their Lavender Chai was also one of the best I've ever had

Dough Joy's donuts are among the finest I've ever tasted. I've explored various flavors, and the biscoff cookie, maple bar, and chocoholic options are personal favorites. Treats from dough joy have become my preferred dessert to share at friends' gatherings and bring to the workplace. Dough Joy's donuts are seriously amazing! Also, don't miss out on their awesome seasonal flavors!

Love the donuts here! My favorite is maple, but their pride donut was amazing?? I also really enjoyed their coffee. Best part is that they are all vegan! Highly recommended.

Some of the best donuts I?ve ever had! AND they?re vegan!? I hope they never change! Dough Joy has quickly become my favorite spot in Seattle. Doughnuts are delicious, service is spectacular and location is convenient. The workers greet everyone with a smile and are so friendly :)

Staff is *so kind* that it honestly made my day. I'll def be back, and the doughnuts are delicious. Great price to keep me coming! Really wanna try the Everything Bagel next time.

Best fritters I've ever had! Try the blueberry fritter. It has just the right crispiness. I didn't even know that everything here is plant based and vegan until after I ordered, but you wouldn't know you were eating a vegan donut unless someone told you. They are that good! Sean and Graesyn were so helpful and kind! I'm coming back and telling all my friends!

The BEST vegan donuts I've ever tried, and I've tried a lot, all around the world! We tried the pop tart donut and the Bavarian cream, both incredible! The hot drinks also come with a donut hole. Very friendly service and beautiful decor!

Donuts just the way I like them ? This instantly became our new favourite donut place in Seattle. Very light, fluffy and airy and not cakey and tough at all. They also celebrate pride all year round with their sparkly and yummy rainbow donuts because ? why not?!

My allergies have prevented me from eating at multiple donut cafes for years- until Dough Joy came along. I was so, so happy that theres a vegan alternative with options safe for me to eat. And the taste of these donuts lived up to how they look; they're delicious! They donuts are fried and have a light, fluffy texture with the sweet icing complementing them perfectly. I couldnt ask for more I'm happy to support a LGBT+ owned business and absolutely recommend these donuts. I will definitely be back for mor

This place is the most adorable donut and coffee shop in town. And the best part is they?re 100% vegan and the flavors are incredibly good! Non-vegans will love these donuts too- my non-vegan friends love them. Get there early for the biggest variety before they start selling out! Coffee is Fulcrum and it?s also very good, and drinks are made with oat milk (with other non-dairy options available). Sean and Christopher are the sweetest guys and their staff is so genuinely nice and accommodating.

Cute little vegan donut shop with coffee. You?re supporting a local small-owned business. The donuts are delicious, you wouldn?t even know they were vegan. Coffee was good. They have different flavored donuts so like their social media pages.

10/10 this place is outstanding. The donuts are phenomenal, the atmosphere is so cute, and the owners are super nice. I highly recommend this place!

amazing, amazing place! my first time trying these donuts and they are delicious, plus they?re vegan!!! customer service was great, atmosphere was beautiful. definitely recommend :) (update, their coffee is amazing too) edit: one of my favorite donut spots now, been there way too many times lol. but their donuts AND COFFEE are always amazing. customer service is great too! they?re so kind. today i asked one of the workers for a cold coffee recommendation and they suggested an iced raspberry mocha (i believ

Love all the six flavors we picked for a box! So yummy! Great prices too! Highly recommended!??

The staff member working there was great. Very friendly! There were so many great doughnut options. My toddler chose the Pride one with the edible glitter and I got the cookies and cream. I love that they are vegan. LOVE that their coffee drinks are made with oat milk. Got a mocha with vanilla and a strawberry lemonade. I only wish there was more seating. 6 stools isn?t enough. Will be coming back ??

Super helpful staff, I came by and picked up three donuts for myself. Donuts were pricy but what do you expect. In terms of the donuts, 10/10, the French toast is a must try. Really enjoy this spot and would come back if back in Seattle!

Great new donut shop in Capitol Hill! I was there just after they opened on Sunday and there was a line so get there early. All donuts are vegan and 100% plant-based but they don?t taste like it at all. Definitely taste like delicious raised donuts. Lots of fun flavors as well as coffee and other drinks.

My experience was at a vendor in Seattle not at this location, but there company. The service was poor, the donuts taste quality were very off I had the biscoff one and was concern about the discoloration as shown in the pic but was told with a shrug it probably was from touching of another donut. I?m not one to make a big deal but that couldn?t rub off someone the wrong way with the response the server gave. Base off experience I wouldn?t tried again unless a friend wants to really go but wouldn?t highly r

When I walked in I didn't know it was Vegan. I was concerned that I since I just wanted normal donuts and hot chocolate that it might taste funny. However I loved the donuts I got as well as my Hot Chocolate! I now bring my friends here when they are in town since I liked it so much!

I love Dough Joy donuts!! I have been to both their food truck in Ballard and their brick and mortar in Capitol Hill, both amazing. The Capitol Hill location is so cute. Dough Joy makes my favorite donuts in all of Seattle! (especially the mango con Chile!!!) Everything they make is vegan (sidenote: I am not vegan) and so delicious. The thing I like most about Dough Joy is their exciting flavors and the knowledge that if a donut says it is supposed to be a certain flavor, you will certainly taste that flavo

Delicious apple fritter and cookie butter donut. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices for Seattle.

I wish I could give everything here a 6-star rating!! I recently moved to Seattle with my partner and we?ve already been here three times. I LOVE their Basic B (glazed donut) and sprinkle doughnut holes. I brought a dozen box for coworkers and they could not believe the donuts were vegan. Also, huge shoutout to Grayson and Sofia (Hope I spelled their names correctly) for being super kind and awesome whenever I go in. Grayson always has the nicest attitude which matches the theme of Dough Joy (sorry, I had

The donuts were really good! Love that they are all plant based and all the coffee drinks come standard with oat milk. They even give you a little donut hole with your coffee! We will visit again next time we are in Seattle!!

I can?t believe there is no egg in these! My childhood dream has been fulfilled to enjoy donuts of all flavors. My personal favorites include the basic b, maple bar and Bavarian cream. The seasonal cookie butter was also gas. Sweet staff, and they offer student discount, just have your ID with you. I will say, my total is different every time I go, but I?ve never questioned it too deeply

A fresh, but too sweet of a donut with an attractive outlook?.but overpowering amount of sugar.

Everything about Dough Joy is a delight, from the fun flavours to the wonderful staff! What a treat to have such amazing vegan donuts, so glad we were finally able to pop in here while in town for the weekend. Can?t recommend enough!

i was here once before and the donuts were delicious ??. been intending to return since and managed to catch them near the end yesterday. got one of each remaining donuts and they were all phenomenal. though i really wanted to try their boston cream pie ?? also got the chai latte which had a cute little donut on the straw. forgot to take a pic before devouring them as you can see from some of these donuts? ngl these donuts and drinks are a bit expensive but it feels great supporting a local vegan busines

every time i come to seattle i can?t leave without stopping here. i would come here for breakfast every day if i didn?t have to fly all the way from new york just to get there. some of the best sweets i?ve ever had?not to mention their massive cinnamon roll is literally gooey, sweet divinity. my favorite donut place to exist ever! ????

This place is one of the best local businesses around. Their donuts are delicious and the staff is very friendly. From their food truck to their new location their quality only gets better and better. They have so many unique flavors to cater to all donuts lovers. The seasonal lattes are definitely worth the try! Seriously underrated compared to other spots around. Recommend arriving early in the day to get all the options and reach out via instagram if you have questions on stock! They sell out fast!

We love the staff so much. Everyone is just wonderful, and my kids love the donuts. Their gf donuts are pretty great, and this place is generally awesome and super happy to have it in the hood.

Amazing vegan donuts! There's a queue sometimes and sometimes they're sold out but that simply shows how amazing their donuts are! ?? Also loved the chai latte here. Glad that they allow refilling containers we bring, forgot to bring my mug this time but will carry it along for next time! ??

The best donut experience! I heard about Doughjoy through a gluten free Seattle Facebook group and am so glad I did! The staff was so sweet and so friendly, the atmosphere is absolutely adorable and those donuts are so so cute! They are vegan too, which is great for people who have both gluten sensitivities and also dairy, which can be tough to accommodate both. They have the regular donuts in a little display area at the front, but they keep the gluten free ones behind so they stay away from the gluten one

BUYER BEWARE... you will never want donuts from anywhere else again. To simply compare Dough Joy to other vegan donuts isn't doing it a shred of justice. As an almost 3-year vegan, I can't recall any time before this when I was this taken even by a non-vegan donut shop. Dough Joy isn't afraid to experiment with their confectionery, crafting interesting and innovative icings other donut shops dare only muse about, and they do it well. They also have mainstays when you just want something more comfortable, li

I really liked the place and their doughnuts. I liked the chocolate one best followed by the French toast and watermelon sour. The cookies and cream were also nice. The doughnuts in general were really good and fluffy with even consistency and a good bounce. In today's special they had a one with coffee which was good as well. The one with apple fritters was a bit too greasy for my taste. Definitely recommend checking the place out and do try watermelon sour and french toast. (My top pick). I also took an A

Incredible donuts! So thankful for delicious vegan donuts and they are now offering gluten free as well which are definitely the best vegan & GF donuts I?ve had! Friendly employees and good vibes. Definitely stop in if you get the chance

Absolutely OBSESSED with Dough Joy! I've had my eye on them since deciding months ago to visit Seattle for a trip and I'm so glad we got up early and made the trek to get these fresh, delicious, vegan donuts! We tried 10/16 flavors and loved every single one! Including the savory one, do not sleep on the savory donuts! Coffee was great, service was wonderful. Cannot say enough good things about Dough Joy, I will recommend them to anyone who will listen.

HUGE shout out to Grayson. They're always so kind and full of sunshine when we visit! Welcomed with smiles and love. You are appreciated! ?? Best doughnuts, coffee, service hands-down!! Sean the owner sure knows how to create a whole vibe!!! Thanks for making Seattle better!! Y'all are loved!

An absolute joy of a donut shop. Everything is bright and colorful and delicious, and the folks behind the counter wonderful! Definitely worth a visit every few weeks to see what's new! I can't wait to go again.

I am forever grateful to Dough Joy for all of the ingenious vegan doughnut flavors. They are all beautiful to look at and even better to eat ! It is hard to choose a favorite but maybe the banana chocolate (?).. The Pride one is almost too pretty to eat (almost). The strawberry fritter with peanut butter drizzle made my morning and their coffee paired perfectly . I can?t wait to try all of them !!

The donuts are AMAZING! They are so doughy and fresh, like edible pillows of joy! You would never know they were vegan? I?m not vegan, so I was skeptical?but boy, was I shocked because Dough Joy has the best doughnuts around! My favorites are the Everything but the Bagel and the Maple Bar. There?s always a line, but the hype is real. They make great oatmeal lattes, and a delicious lavender iced power drink. The owners, Sean and Chris, are super friendly and involved in the community. The doughnuts are hug

We went midday on a Friday, and they'd had a busy morning, so the selection was a bit limited, but we still had several options to choose from. We went with cookies and cream and bavarian cream. Both were incredible. We also had a really good soy latte that came with a cinnamon donut hole on top. The people working there were super nice and friendly and welcoming to our dog. This was our first time in a Dough Joy location, although we had tried their donuts at their Valentine's Day tasting event at Pine Lak

The absolute best donuts!! I was so impressed, it blew all the vegan donuts I've had out of the water and was an amazing donut, vegan or no. The Pride one was my favorite. The fun flavors are great but the Pride flavor shows off how perfect the donut and basic frosting are. Will absolutely be coming back ASAP! EDIT: Almost forgot, the oat milk cappuccino was DELICIOUS! Hard to find a good one usually!

So nice!!! Loved the vibes of this place, a great variety of donuts which are super fresh and tasty. Really high quality and friendly staff. I got the strawberry milkshake donut which was really good. Soft to bite into, and a very nice texture. Wish that it would be open more often, but given the quality and freshness of donuts it is understandable.

Dough Joy is exactly what Capitol Hill needed. Cute donut shop right in the heart of Cap Hill, close walk if you live in the neighborhood. Fully vegan and plant based donuts, great selection of flavors from basic b and chocolate to more interesting flavors such as mango con chile (my personal favorite), strawberry milkshake, smores, birthday cake, chocolate banana or sour watermelon. I think I am addicted :)

Nice little shop with many different options. We got mango tajin( I loved it, fruity, salty, sweet, spicy) raised and pride raised. So beautiful and light.

Their donuts are SO DELICIOUS! I'm so happy they now have gluten free donuts, they are probably the best (maybe the only) gluten free donuts I've ever had. The staff was also super kind and welcoming- I'll definitely be back here!

In this household, we love Dough Joy! ?? Personally been going since they opened their food truck in Ballard, so it was a joy to finally visit their new space. You won?t be disappointed, they have something for everything that will definitely meet your sweet tooth cravings. Not only are the donuts & drinks spectacular, equally so are the people. Every person I?ve ever interacted with at Dough Joy has been so kind, and make me feel like I?ve been a regular for years! 10/10, go get you some donuts! ??

Wow! Literally the BEST doughnuts. They have that traditional fried doughnut texture! It?s not the typical cake/bread texture vegans normally have to tolerate (though I think the cinnamon sugar might be a cake style if that?s your style; I didn?t order that one though). I have never had a vegan doughnut pass for, much less out perform, a ?normal? fried doughnut (think Krispy Kreme), but Dough Joy has done it!!! Looks like I?ll be driving an hour from Olympia to Seattle more often ?? Pictured Delicious

Love the mission, the people, the joy. We did think the doughnuts were too sweet. The sweetness overpowered the flavors some. Texture is not cake like which I like, hoping overtime it will get more like Krispy Kreme. But I do believe they will get better as the try more and do more. Love an all plant based business.

So excited they are finally open! We tried to go opening weekend but they were sold out by 11am. The owners were so nice and friendly, the donuts are amazing. And the oat milk ice latte is one of the best things I have ever had. This will easily be our go to donut &coffee shop !

Amazing vegan donuts! First time finding vegan donuts with the fluff and consistency of non-vegan donuts. Small and cute shop. Highly recommend!

These donuts are absurdly delicious. We?re die hard maple bar fans but the cookies and cream really gave maple bars a run for their money. I?m excited to come back and try more. I?ve truly never had a vegan donut that tasted this good. My very much non vegan partner said he almost didn?t believe they were vegan (we rechecked the website!) because they were so suspiciously good. Seriously, what on earth do you use? He went in to pick up the donuts and said the service was also great. Just a really lovely c

Decent donuts but a long wait. We waited 30 minutes on a prime time/day but the line moved very slow for people just buying donuts/coffee. Overall, they have quite a range of flavored donuts though. We got 4 - the special which was a Boston Cream, cookie crumb, Oreo and a birthday cake. The Oreo and birthday cake were underwhelming and I?d recommend trying one of the more specialty flavors.

Got a chance to try dough joy without knowing anything about it and was like whoa this is some good donut and then I saw my friend who is allergic to everything is grabbing a bite too and found out that they are dairy free, gluten free, egg free and nut free. This is an awesome place!

I love Dough Joy! I found out about them because they are out supporting the community. I love their lattes, I usually get oat milk and Dough Joy does not upcharge for plant based options. All of their options at Dough Joy are vegan in drinks and donuts! Their drinks come with a donut hole on the straw, which is great if you want to eat your donuts when you get home, but are also impatient. My favorite donut is the maple bar. I also love the pride donut and think the edible glitter is so pretty. My entire h

Wow! Great place, friendly staff, and awesome donut selection. Lots of unique and yummy flavor combos and all are vegan.

Such a cute donut shop. The oreo, caramel apple, and the strawberry sprinkles were the best. I also grabbed a chai which comes with a donut on top.

I had these at a party I went to yesterday and I just had to make a review. These were the BEST DONUTS EVER!!! ngl I ate three of them while at this Halloween party I've been vegan for 7 years I've been all over the country I've had a lot of donuts people have considered to be "amazing" but these were absolutely astonishing. I will be there to get more in person soon but like seriously these donuts 10/10 I love that there is GF options too and the boxes were so cute. I love the sprinkle ones!!!!

I like these vegan donuts more than regular donuts. The flavors are amazing and it cheers me up to go here. They do have odd hours so just double check!

Have been dying to go here for ages and finally got the opportunity today. I had my expectations low being so instagrammable and cute but it truly was the best service I have Recieved since before COVID. Hands down. The cutie with the curly blue locks and the babe making drinks were amazing. So kind and patient and truly made my friend and I feel seen. I can?t wait to go back.

Dropped in for a last minute snack before catching a flight, and man this shoulda been out first stop in Seattle! The service was exceptionally kind and welcoming and the quality of the donuts were outstanding!

I tried a variety of flavors, however the Everything but the Bagel donut blew my mind! It was the perfect fusion between a bagel and a donut, including cream cheese. It was so well done. Also how can this be vegan and still taste like real cream cheese? Now that I know I?ll make sure to get a full box of bagel donuts next time I?m around. I hope that this flavor will be fixed to the menu! It is that good!

This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! We ordered a box of donuts just for me to take my first one, and literally almost swallow a shard of glass. Now I have to forcefully regurgitate this glass shard from inside my throat to not risk it tearing my digestive tract. After which I tore into the donut just to find 2 other massive shards of glass. I do not understand how it is possible to sell a donut completely mixed with GLASS. Someone could've been killed. This is textbook negligence. There is no way something lik

the cutest freaking shop ever I just wanted to hangout in there for the hell of it. I went in for a few donuts but the upbeat humans working there asked me if I wanted a drink so I told them so surprise me. Ended up walking out with the BEST raspberry mocha coffee it was Devine let me tell you. So after I?m walking home practically skipping because the coffee is hitting me I get home and decide it?s time to try a donut. WHAT DO THE PEOPLE PUT IN THESE THEY ARE SO FREAKING GOOD. I?ll stop before I go on all

Really amazing doughnuts. Can?t tell that they are vegan. They are raised doughy and so many choices

Skip mighty o and come here. For years we were obsessed with mighty o vegan donuts. Well they?ve now been replaced by dough joy which are infinitely better quality and taste. The staff are also much friendlier.

I happen to be visiting Seattle and it?s national donut day. I googled donut shops and found Dough joy. Being a locally owned business is important to me. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by two very helpful staff members. They went into great detail to describe the donuts. We decided on 7 different donuts. I couldn?t wait to get back and took a bite of the French toast donut. OMG. How is this vegan?! Once I got back, I took a bite out of the cookie butter filled donut?it was just as tasty! T

Had a wonderful first-time experience at the new Ballard location. The doughnut was insanely delicious! I'm excited that a place like this is so attentive to allergens. My pine-nut free boyfriend finally has a place that feels safe enough to enjoy baked goods as well! The atmosphere is bright and fun. The staff was so kind and accommodating. I can't wait to go back. And their cold brew is amazing too- they add a free little doughnut hole to each drink! How cute!

Yummy doughnuts including several gluten free options (all cake variety)!

WOW. Absolutely blown away over how delicious and well executed the donuts are here. As a vegan for 15 years I couldn't believe that they're vegan! The stand-out flavors are balanced and not sugary or overly sweet. The texture of the dough is dense while also light and fluffy at the same time. Absolute perfection. Really wish Vancouver, Canada had a good vegan donut shop????? In the meantime I will make sure to always make a stop here when I come down. Also, they're huge??! And love the overflowing filling?

Went in later on Saturday and still had a good selection to choose from. We had the French toast apple fritter and pop tart. All were top notch - fresh, fluffy, flavors spot on while not being too sweet or rich like you find at other boutique style donut shops. Highly recommend!

Dough joy not only offers the best allergy friendly doughnuts but continues to deliver the fun atmosphere and top notch service to their guests. Are the doughnuts 4 dollars? Yes. Are they also vegan? Yes again. Can you go just anywhere to get an animal free, nut free, unique product? No, you can not. Whether the flavor of the dough be similar to that of another store, the product itself is not the same. If you are blessed enough to eat dairy, soy, nuts, gluten, then by all means, go get THAT donut girl! THE

Best donuts in Seattle!!! And from an Asian ? it?s not too sweet at all ?? Update: Finally back in Seattle for these donuts!

pop tart donut - great 8.6/10 - would have liked a more jelly-like filling rather than that filling. It was kinda too thick and not ideal. Also exploded out of the bottom right away. - French toast donut - great 9/10 Fully vegan place even with sugar not refined with bone char!

My first time to Dough Joy this morning was lovely. First, the staff were very sweet. They even helped me figure out a logistical challenge with errands this morning, as I am new to this wonderful city. I wanted to bring a vegan and nut free dessert to a dinner tonight, so I pre-ordered an assortment which look beautiful in the box. I also had their Biscoff doughnut for my second breakfast, and now I know why it's a fan favorite. I can't wait to try something else tonight, and to return to this shop!

I got Birthday donuts for my wife and the nursing staff at UWMC today. Staff at shop on Pike was awesome and the donuts themselves were even better. Blueberry fritters are my new favorite!! Thanks for making a tough day special!! Pete
