Wonderful shop we'd really enjoyed visiting today. Very tasty treats to be had inside. Friendly staff and a clean facility. I really wanted a Boston Creme Pie doughnut, but unfortunately they are only available on the weekend. Sad face because we were there on a Monday. We will just have to return again to this area again one day. They had toliets and free WiFi.

Simply some of the best doughnuts I've ever had. Every flavor, and we tried nearly all of them, was spot on. The perfect blend of sweet, fluffy, and fresh. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. We drove about an hour and a half to get doughnuts from here, and it was worth every minute! I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area, or making a trip just for these amazing doughnuts.

These donuts are incredible! I?m not a huge fan of sweets but they have such a perfect balance of the dough with just the right amount of sugar. Not sickly sweet. Texture of the dough is awesome! I have visited this place a couple of times both by myself and with my non-vegan nieces and nephews and I love it here. A very friendly team who are kind and considerate. My nieces and nephews love the place even though they are super picky and not vegan. My favorite options are the apple fritter, the maple donut, and the donut holes which are gluten free. Just an all around great place, please give them a try!

Incredible vegan doughnuts! I kinda planned a trip from Chattanooga to Asheville to try out this spot and it was well worth it. Julie was so kind and welcoming, shared all about the menu with me. We used to love their gluten free donuts. Just tried the new version, and unfortunately, they are a disappointment. Gummy, no crumb at all, almost wet inside, and the flavor is off. As an avid gluten/dairy free baker, I was shocked at the dropped standard. If ya?ll do rework the recipe, we?ll definitely be back to try again!

Sweet staff, and sweet flavors to choose from (don't know which is sweeter, the people or the flavors) including Chai, Chocolate, and usually a daily special (today's was birthday cake!) Dough House is phenomenal! Finding made-to-order, fresh vegan donuts is amazing and especially when they come in so many flavors. I came here for my birthday and ordered a dozen of their square donuts. I especially enjoyed the one with strawberry and matcha, chocolate and coconut bacon, and mango and strawberry. If you?re stopping in Asheville, this place is worth a little extra driving!

Got some doughnuts while waiting on line at Blue Ridge Biscuit, they did not disappoint. Eat them while they?re hot! The original glaze fills your mouth and the outside is a bit crunchy. The raspberry glaze is amazing and elderberry jam is the best! We went back to see where they got the jam from. Check them out

These are the most delicious doughnuts/pastries I?ve ever had, vegan or not. You can?t go wrong here, but definitely make sure to get the Boston creme doughnut, a hot knot, and a bread pudding ?? the team here also just happen to be the nicest people on the planet ?? hands down one of the best doughnut places ever!!!

In love with this place. Me and my family are gluten free, and have tried multiple gluten free dedicated bakeries and their donuts. Compared to Dough Houses donuts, they not only fall short, but are straight up pathetic. I repeat, the gluten free donuts at Dough House are phenomenal. The staff are very kind and easy to work with, and the prices are the same as the wheat ones. Will come again!

The staff here are the nicest and the donuts are huge with really good glazes. My favorite was the strawberry, it was clearly made with real fruit and tasted like fresh jam. As for the texture of the donuts, they?re nice and cakey. They are made fresh but IMO, they?re actually better after they?ve sat and cooled for a while.

Let me tell u. Oh my God these donuts were so good I pulled over and ate them. The different flavors were fun and treats awesome. The service was fast and friendly.

If I could give zero stars, I would. It looked promising and had lots of good reviews, but the doughnut was cold. They?re supposed to be made to order and fresh but I know for a fact that it wasn?t. I paid $4.00 for ONE doughnut!! I don?t mind paying if it?s worth it, but this one for sure wasn?t. The dough was dense and heavy. Not light and airy as a yeast donut should taste. I had high hopes but my overall experience is that this donut was nasty. Just not what I expected, totally don?t recommend. Update

I came here to pick up donuts for a group of friends, and they were amazing!! I was able to split the dozen between regular and gluten free (because they?re made fresh to order) and they were all delicious. My dairy- and gluten-free friend was near tears with happiness, since they haven?t been able to eat a fresh donut in years. I live on the opposite side of town, and I?ll still drive there just for these amazing donuts.

Wow! I had the best donut of my life here, the chocolate caramel coconut. Our whole family loves this place. Absolutely delicious. Just be aware they only stay open until they sell out, so get there early. You can also call ahead and have them put a few aside for you. Every time we bought here, they were still warm and gooey. An unassuming shop but DO NOT sleep on there donuts. Choose your style and topping and they are fresh made and delicious. They have soft fluffy texture and a very sticky glaze. Slightly light on the toppings but they're not what makes these donuts special

I am vegan. My family is not. They choose these donuts over Krispy Kreme. That is impressive. These are the best! Staff is always helpful and friendly. Service is quick. You have to try their garlic butter donut. I was skeptical at first, but now it's a must every time we come.

I like the doughnuts here, but I've left without food far more often than with food when I've come here because they never make enough food for the published opening hours, doesn't matter if it's a weekday or weekend. I think I've maybe managed to get food here 3 times total, but the last 3 times in a row I've come here resulted in no food, so I'm going to Vortex exclusively from now on because, unlike this place, at least I know if i spend the 20 minutes+gas to go there, I'm for sure leaving with great veg

Friendly is the word, as we stopped at Dough House. We saw the Chefess top each of our doughnuts while our beverage was prepared. Outside at a table (nice day) we tasted our purchase. They were wonderful! Light, no hint of grease, flavorful doughnut and warm soft topping. Wonderful! My Expresso Chocolate was gone, and so was my Cinnamon before I could take a photo. lovely little nook right on the outskirts of downtown. each donut is dropped fresh so it?s worth waiting a couple minutes. plus they offer coffee drinks (both drip and espresso) so you can have a cup while you wait for your goodies. so nice to have a vegan pastry in black mtn. give them a visit next time you?re in the mood for a treat!
