Dough Boy Donuts

Dough Boy Donuts

Reviews Summary

This bakery is highly praised for its fresh, warm donuts and specialty Asian breads, particularly the taro bread and sesame balls, which are often described as delicious and a must-try. Many reviewers highlight the friendly service and the owner's kindness, though some note inconsistent pricing. A common complaint is that popular items sell out quickly, especially by mid-morning, so arriving early or calling ahead is recommended. The taro-filled sesame balls and coconut bread are frequently mentioned as favorites, while the donuts are consistently praised for their quality and freshness. A few reviewers express frustration with limited stock or unclear hours during COVID-19. Overall, it’s a beloved spot for its unique offerings and warm atmosphere.

Customer Reviews

I'm so happy! The doughnuts look great but I'm most happy with these little sesame ball thingys! I was eying them curiously in the store and I guess the lady noticed because she was super sweet and gave me 2 for free and said "Try them!". They don't exactly fit with in with my diet, but she was so nice I happily accepted. And OMG they are flakey treats of goodness! I don't know what that purple stuff is but it is so good! Like the whole thing is this perfect blend of sweet fried bread, but like it's not as

The Sesame balls are amazing! The Taro bread were fresh and warm. The coconut bread sells out fast, call and pre-order if you want them!

I was passing through this part of the state and recall some bakery that I had at gathering. I asked around and was told that this is the place. I stopped on the way out of town and picked up a box. Bakery is warm and tasty for my road trip. Will stop again in the future when I?m in town.

I LOVE LOVE their sesame balls and taro bread!!! I also recommend getting their donuts hole and LoCheng bread. It also goes good with coffee.

Love lao cheng and coconut bread! It?s delicious! Only reason why it didn?t get 5 stars is that she is always sold out! Got to call early ahead of time and reserve the bread and even then sometimes it?s still sold out

good amount of variety for a small business. Your classic bread always sold out so early bird gets the worm. Also can go wrong with the donuts they have available.

I love eating their donut because its so fluffy and last for 3 days lol. other locations similar kind gets hard after one day. plus they have asian bread i like. My problem is. what are their hours during covid-19!!!! im so sad... i miss their seasame balls. everytime i go check they are close but when i dont have money i roll by they are open im so angry lol

Not a huge selection but good donuts. But the main attraction are the Taro Sesame Balls. They have a Taro Bun as well but the Sesame Balls are my favorite. Be sure to get there early because they will run out.

Very friendly staff. Soft and non powdery glazed doughnuts. I come here for their Hmong specialty breads everytime I come to fresno or pass by. It kind of become by tradition lol. Everytime I buy her breads and her glazed doughnut, I get the doughnut free. What nice thoughtful and kind hearted the owner is. Its a place I feel welcomed when I enter and bye as I leave making me want to return. Highly recommend.

I love the taro balls. But they go so fast. If u don't get there early enough then it's all gone. Everybody buys them up.

Love their Looj ceeb bread... it's soft, chewy, slightly sweeten and made fresh daily. I also love their Sesame balls, it's got a good fresh crunch to it. Highly recommend!

Always fresh when you order everything. Very good customers service and it's always my to go place for asain sweet bread.

My new favorite donut shop. Best donuts ever. Stopped by at about 7:30 am and received hot donuts and taro bread! So good!!! Im hooked!

Best taro bread and donuts in Fresno! They?re cheap too. $10 for a box of taro bread. The ladies in the shop are always so nice!

Very good bread but like the other reviewer said...they always run out of their famous bread by 8am! Maybe make more throughout the day to get more sales.

The taro balls here are delicious! It?s hard to just eat one.

They are always friendly and kind love this place???????? love The sesame balls always fresh.. visit when have time????...#2020#love# Support#hmong Community#livefullest# Tasty#happyness#heathlyfood??

Amazing donuts! Try the sesame balls with taro filling is simply amazing! A must try

I don't like it because the lady is very picky one day I went and she sold me a donut for $2 and she didn't sell a small can of milk for $3 and another day I was fixed up and she sold me a donut for 75 cents and the milk for 2

They are good but always run out of their breads/donuts by 9am. So its a waste of time to stop by here after 8am.

Always go for the Taro buns

Nice and friendly You can call ahead of time to do special orders N Im lovin the creme feelin donuts!..

They never have enough donuts. Waste of time driving there to get no donuts. Call first and go before 9am to see if any left.

Havent gone in along time im sure its good who doesn't like donuts

Good donuts here and it's across from the fairground so quick snack and drink when you're coming back from there

You have to try their sesame balls. It's soft n delicious.
