The Donutz on a Stick Grill and Ice Cream Bar offers an exceptional dining experience. The staff provided friendly and efficient service, ensuring our order was delivered promptly and served hot and fresh. The quality of the food was outstanding. We look forward to returning during our next visit to the area.

We had been very curious about this place. There is a lot going on inside. Lots of items you would find in a gift shop, puzzles, games, t-shirts, and ice cream bowls with your name. There is a grill menu and ice cream by the scoop, milkshake, soft serve, donut sundae, or donut ice cream sandwich. The inside could use a good cleaning and revamping. The burger was recommended, and it was great with steak fries and a drink for just over 8 bucks.

We stopped in to try the donut on a stick, and it was excellent! Two hot, fresh cake donuts are skewered, and then toppings are added. The skewer is placed on a small plate along with a fork, so you can choose how to eat it. You can choose 2 or 4 (or more) donuts, but each group of 2 must be the same flavor. We tried maple-bacon, chocolate with sprinkles, and cinnamon roll. All were great. They also offer a donut sundae (next time!), ice cream, burgers, and more.

Coming off a culinary disappointment, I found the remedy! I had a black cherry ice cream on a bed of two fresh cinnamon doughnuts and my beloved ordered min chocolate chip with pecans, hat chocolate, whipped cream on a bed of cinnamon doughnuts! All is right with the world! I asked my wife for a taste of hers, and she protected her dish! Well done!

Great place for some treats. Friendly staff. There are a lot of signs in the restaurant, which gives it an overly busy non aesthetic. It is a great local place that could easily be overlooked. We had a club meeting there last night with Hampton Roads Club MINI. The staff was most excellent to Sonic and I. They were even willing to mix up a nostalgic sherbert freeze for me, we had to use sprite but it was close enough. Atlas even gave Sonic a pup cup. Yes they are dog friendly there too. This is one of my favorite places to get a reliable burger. My son is a big fan of their corn dogs - and their ice cream. It's a bit of a hike to drive so we'll order on DoorDash from time to time and the service never falters. When we do get to visit in person, the staff are always incredibly friendly. Got forgotten about. Sitting waiting for our order of French fries and donuts for 20 minutes. No other customers and clearly we were waiting for food. Finally after asking they found our French fries sitting on the counter for 20 minutes cold. No apology or offer to compensate. They don't even offer ketchup. I wouldn't be surprised if they charge 2 dollars for it. This place is over priced and they charge for everything.

Oh my! Excellent burger and fry. Both cooked immediately after ordering. Fresh ingredients. Crispy bacon. Thick sliced tomato. Large leaf of lettuce. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! I get my order through door dash, and they never disappoint. The donuts are always warm when I get them (and we live in Hampton), and are also very soft. The ice cream is also delicious. I would definitely recommend!

Atmosphere is really good! And the burger is good and made to order. Although the patty is small for their large dense buns, we did order a single. I think with a double and all the toppings one would be to stuffed for ice cream. We got the classic soft serve and hot fudge and it was good. This place is trying to bring back the 50's feel, they are only one month as independent so I think they will be better in due time after trying a few things out. I see the potential! Check it out!

I was wanting a donut, a simple donut. Went to not one but 2 Dunkin Donuts and was told they did not have any donuts! On a whim went to Donutz on a Stick and no regrets, will be back again! Hot fresh donuts and food! If I could give more stars I would. Don't waste your time with big donut companies go here instead. I promise you won't regret it! I came here with my family and the staff was very friendly and there were endless delicious options on the menu. We got the salty caramel and brownie batter, cappuccino crunch and bourbon, and a stick of maple bacon donuts. The ice cream had a very unique flavor and truly put Hagan Daz to shame??. The maple bacon cake donuts were also the best we?ve had! Will definitely be coming back!

An amazing spot to get your sweet fix. The ice cream is good but the donuts are made fresh to order. They are served hot with your favorite ice cream flavor on top which works perfectly. We stopped by to try this place for fun on a Saturday. If you try to eat a meal and dessert it will be a little bit pricey but the food is good. My first time here I got a strawberry cheesecake shake and in my shake they put clumps of cream cheese in it yes it was a strawberry cheesecake shake but the cream cheese was clumped up to the point that look like little clumps of tofu and it could barely get in my straw and it was hard. This is a really fun spot that makes great food. They make the donuts fresh and offer a lot of flavor options, sizes, sundaes, etc. They do not disappoint. I ordered a double cheese burger combo with a side of onion rings and a chili and cheese dog. Inside says there is a sign that say "food is made fresh so there maybe a wait but we are worth it." Donuts On A Stick is a family go-to!! A friend invited us and we've invited like EVERYONE we know!! Not only because it's small, family owned business..but their food is AMAZINGGG!!!! The grill food is GREAT, their ice cream is GREAT, and their donuts are GREAT!!

This is a nice hidden gem! The food was amazing and cooked to order. Customer service was great too! There are seats inside to wait for the food but it's definitely not a dine in restaurant. This is the old Original Dairy Queen restaurant that I went to every week with my mom when I was a little girl. We always got foot longs with chili, cheese, onion, mustard, and ketchup. The were $0.99 and delicious. On my lunch break this is I wanted and it was good(the bun could have been fresher). I came before and had the donut on a stick with fruity pebbles, and it was hot and delicious. They have puzzles, games, and more neat items to purchase.

The staff were friendly, and brought my burger out to my table. Seating only 12 (inside), having 3 24" x 24" and 2 24" diameter tables; it gets crowded quickly. Overall I really enjoyed our experience and will be back, mostly for the kids.

It has the most beautiful looking and tasting soft serve ice cream I've ever had!!!

The food here was really good! I got the chicken sandwich and the small donut stick. It was all very delicious. The line can get pretty long and they do have some restrictions on what you can get (i.e. can't mix and match donuts). Still highly recommend especially if you are looking for a treat for the family.
