First off the environment is welcoming. Everyone was friendly. However their portions are terrible for the prices they charge. They charge $4 and some change for corned beef hash and LITERALLY serve you a spoon full. I paid $30 for a meal that didn?t even fill myself or my husband up. A child could?ve eaten it by themselves.
This is a true wayside diner in an old 50s/60s style shop. The donuts are very good. Heavy and sweet just like they should be. The coffee was really good. I love those old diner coffee cups. The eggs were perfectly over-easy. Hot Biscuits came buttered. City ham and hash browns were not very good. They both had an odd flavor as if fish had been cooked on the griddle right before. Sausage gravy was not in our top five, but decent with ample portions. Country ham was very good but smaller portions. Blueberry
Very friendly service and atmosphere. My friend and I stopped in here for the first time and we got coffee and donuts. The coffee was excellent and so were the donuts. I will definitely be back and am looking forward to trying other things on the menu.
We can never not stop when we visit family in Stuarts Draft. This place keeps turning out great food and friendly atmosphere time after time. Always a good time visiting at Donuts Delight.
We were meandering through the beautiful back roads of Virginia when we stopped here on a whim. They didn't make donuts that day and were out of a few things, but what we got was delicious and we enjoyed our time there.
1. BE PREPARED TO WAIT IF YOU ORDER HOT FOOD! Just a warning. I took in a family of 4, and it took around an hour to get our food. My kids are 7 and 3, so thankfully they were patient. Maybe this was just a rough day for the workers, it they weren?t in a hurry. 2. The food was good overall. My wife, however, ordered chipped beef gravy and biscuits and stated that the gravy was over salted. I had a breakfast bowl that was pretty tasty. My kids had pancakes and donuts and didn?t have any complaints.
The food was great, it reminds me of home cooking! The donuts are FRESH!! And oh so good!
Will not return!! $3.59 for a cup of coffee! Ordered all time favorite bfast which inc. bacon, 2 eggs , hash browns and English muffin $13.59 so not worth it!
Local diner, small place with big eats! The country breakfast is huge, served hot and fresh. Pretty good selection of donuts. I have been eating here for years. I love coming in, and the staff just brings me a coffee automatically, and the down to earth conversation of staff - you really do feel like you are eating at home! ??????
They should be ashamed in charging $3.59 for an average cup of coffee. If I had asked that question before I ordered I would have left. As it is I will never go back for a fifteen dollar meal that bad. I can have a meal twice that good for half the price up in Waynesboro. Your meal should cost less than $8..

We ordered 8 dozen donuts for our wedding and not a single donut was left over that night. They were a delicious hit!
This place is really small inside. We came to buy just a doughnut. The employee was busy so while we waited we looked around. The waitress scratched her arm and the cook put a bandage on it and went back cooking food without washing her hands. Then the waitress went into the doughnut case to take two doughnuts out to take to a table. She didn't put any gloves on or use tongs. We walked out.
Really good donuts! Atmosphere was a little strange and not as welcoming. Also a little pricey. But product was good! Would buy again.

fun selection of donuts, at the time we did visit low supply to offer, come early to get the goods? went there back in the early 90's for my mom & coworkers, visited then probably weekly.
I bought a cinnamon bun and a custard long john and it was $8.60!!! no kidding for two donuts! I'm sure my mouth fell open, as the lady quickly snatched the money before I could say no thanks. The donuts are average at best, the price is at least twice what it should be. I thought I would stay local, and support this little dump, but no thank you for that money. Came at 9:30 to get breakfast, ordered a donut bacon and eggs. Donut was delicious unfortunately that was the only great thing about this place. While we waited for the rest of our food a man was hacking and sneezing into his hand by the counter and then took that same hand and reached into the donut case and took a donut. No gloves and without washing his hands. After an hour of waiting for my bacon and eggs I had to ask for it to go which seemed to annoy our server. They were not to busy. Mostly people si
Tried the Donuts, Not bad, texture and taste about a rating of 4 out of 5, however this could be a knock out Business if they dedicated more time and variety in the donuts. If they would consider a full time baking staff where they would not run out of the favorites this could be the main donuts place in the Valley. A better place with more room and neater appearance would be a plus as well.
I went to get a dozen donuts to go, and the salesclerk nearly bit my head off! Her attitude made it very clear that she did not want my service. No worries, because I will NOT be going back!
