I was really hopeful to try this place for the first time, but it looks like it?ll be my last. The first two bites of my kolache were good until I noticed the bread had some ink? on it. Not sure what that is from but I didn?t see anything on the brown paper bag that would cause that. Also noticed they sell out 98% before they even open, so unless you pre-order you won?t get what you want. Enjoy your donuts if you like them, I won?t be there to take them ;)

Genuinely the best homemade doughnuts you will ever taste. The light airy sweet dough encased in a delicate glaze and variety of flavors is perfecttt. It WILL become an addiction that gets you up & out the house at 5am just to get em before they disappear!
Today was my second time there. I heard about this place from my instructor who lives in Wetumpka who brought in doughnuts for the class. The doughnuts are huge and delicious. The owners are friendly and kind. Fast service. This will be my go to from now on.
Came here early in the morning to make sure I got to get all their awesome donuts. Very impressed. Easy to miss from the street though, but worth it. The donuts are perfectly flavored and aren't the type to sit heavy in your stomach

Mmm Mmm, yummy delight! ???? I do not live in AL but while visiting I stopped here. Returned the following week for more. Delicious cake doughnuts. I ordered a variety including blueberry, red velvet, another with crumb topping ; which was my new favorite, and long john + glazed. I see why the customer before me walked out with 12 dozen... Soft, fried just right, not too heavy, and the right donut glaze ratio. You taste doughnut, it is not overpowered by sugar or saturated to the point when the bread feels
Great tasting breakfast burrito and very friendly, but my 4year old son and i thrown away an half a dozen of doughnuts. Donut heaven in prattville is our go to spot almost everyday. Donut heaven have way lower prices and excellent any and everything you buy from there. You can actually taste the difference between the two donut shops. My son was very disappointed

Just ate 3 of their donuts that a coworker brought in today and can officially say this is the only place I will be buying donuts from here on out. I don't know the name but there is a donut that has like a crunchy red outside and it is the best donut I've ever eaten in my life. I also highly recommend the red velvet cake donut. Perfection!
My whole family loves Donuts D Lite ! The owner is so sweet and personable. Great value and tastes amazing . I was thrilled to find a local place that sells sausage and jalapeno kolachies !!!! Of course my daughter loves the sprinkled donuts. The apple fritter is to die for ! If you're in the area, stop in, say hello, and get a fresh donut....or 12 ....and don't forget the kolachies !
I called in an order on a Sunday morning and was so pleased with the pleasant customer service I received! The donuts were fresh and very light. I now understand why they sell out so fast!
Today might not have been their best day, but the donuts tasted like old cooking oil. Restaurants reuse oil after it has been strained, but it can become rancid after a while.
These are the best donuts I've had anywhere! They are only open until 11am CT or until the donuts are gone. Try the pumpkin spice donut...it's the best. They also have other breakfast foods.

Love this place. Everything is cooked that night before business opens the next morning. They close when they sell out. Nothing that was cooked from that day is taken into the next business day. Always always a friendly smile when you walk in the door!!!

Great place to go and grab not your run-of-the-mill donut. Donuts are bigger than your fist great price on them and you get some unique varieties highly recommend.
