Way better than Madd Natters in Paradise! Not oily or greasy at all. Good maple flavor, enjoyed the maple bacon, old fashioned, and buttermilk bar. Definitely recommend driving down from paradise for.
5:51am came to get donuts for my daughters birthday and they weren?t open :(
Stopped in for the first time this morning and they went above and beyond for us. Husband and wife were super friendly. Glad we finally found our regular donut spot.
This place is one of Oroville's hidden gems! They don't just make tasty donuts in fact they have a wonderful small menu of noodle soups/curry soups, egg rolls, spring rolls, rice rolls, papaya salad, purple sticky rice, sausage, chicken and more. The egg rolls/spring rolls are freshly handmade and perfectly delicious with tasty sauces, the soup (kaopiak) is packed full of flavor and feels good on the throat, body, and soul. Indulged in an assorted dozen from this donut haven?each bite, a burst of delight. The medley of flavors and textures was a heavenly experience. From classic glazed to fillings, they nailed it. A donut paradise that guarantees a return trip for more sugary bliss.
Their hot food is to die for, they have really good giant spring rolls and purple sticky rice. The donuts are interesting and run out very quickly so grab em fast. The prices are great overall. This place is small but quick with the orders and the people are friendly. Keep it up guys! Everything is good here! My only complaint is that they don't serve hot food everyday of the week so plan for specific days.
The Donut Tree not only has great donuts, but cares and supports its community! They have generously donated donuts to local schools on multiple occasions.
we went not even 10 minutes ago. the man we talked to was so nice! we asked about the hot food menu and he gave us a paper copy to take. service was fast and friendly and the donuts are amazing (and photogenic). thank you for the donut holes, by the way! :)
I usually get a few donuts at Raleys. This time I was getting them for some helpful county workers as a thankyou. After reading reviews I tried here to get better donuts. I'm really pleased with the nice gentleman, and Great donuts. I had to get a few for myself too, and had 1st one when I got home. It was great, fluffy and fresh! I see why people like this place. I will definitely come back.
Not an expert on donuts, but their Hmong/Asian food are worth the visit, won't disappoint.
You cannot beat these fresh donuts, but what's even better is the owner, Pang! He is always friendly, welcoming and has a smile on his face. He appreciates your business and it shows. You do have to go early, especially on the weekends, or they are sold out!

Always super friendly here and the donuts sell out fast so you have to come early. Always soft and fresh they always seem to have something my picky husband will like. Well worth getting up early for.
The cherry turnovers are amazing but you have to get there early cause he sells out quick. They are the best around. The owner I think he is, is so nice and patient with those like me who are indecisive lol

I have been in bakeries, raised in Palo Alto,across the US, including Kauai and not a one of them can hold a candle to our local bakery, The Donut Tree. Though it is hard to have a favorite I lean towards the Maple Bar. Maybe I will do a study to taste test all of the variety they create. HummmYummmy...

When we come to Oroville,we try to ALWAYS buy the Tiger Tails. This time they were out. However, they have a Large array of goodies for you. Give them a try.
