I was expecting a whole lot better than what we got since reviews were good and someone mentioned they were good. We ordered 2 egg sausage muffins. My hubs was like this is just like a McDs and did they just microwave it and not make it fresh??? NO condiment on them so very dry. The service was condescending although I was being nice and laid back. We didn't return the next day although we would of if it was better.

This unassuming shop has the best bagels and donuts I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and get the #1 on the jalapeno cheese bagel. Can't go wrong with any of the donuts, although the fritters were the best one ever had - no joke. This place is an adorable gem tucked away in Amador County.

This place was super nice. They had so many options. We visited after the morning rush so you will see the goodies available at the time. We didnt get to see everything but what was there looked fantastic. We purchased coffee, a donut, and a pocket. The only thing I'd say they could improve on is cleanliness; floors, tables, disply, and bathroom..but keep in mind this was after the morning rush in the afternoon. Otherwise it was great!

This is one of those roadside gems. It has a pretty good selection of pastries, freshly made sandwiches, coffee, refrigerators full of sodas and drinks, fast service, clean, friendly staff, lots of parking and, well, that's about all you need from a roadside quick stop. It's one of my go-to places when I'm in the area and that's a lot and spread over many many years. Can't go wrong with this place.

Stopped in to get donuts for my coworkers. The staff was friendly and my coworkers were happy. Parking lot is a great place to catch a sunrise

Too pretty to eat, too delicious not to!!! Such friendly loving service and it's always a delight to stop by on my way to work and pick up a delicious cheap cup of coffee with some gourmet choices in pastries. The pineapple danishes are to die for and the breakfast sammiches are made on fresh croissants and made just for you! The owners are amazing and friendly. I really enjoyed their donuts. It's such a wonderful surprise to find this place. And then to be greeted by a friendly smile. Thank you for a nice visit. While I was enjoying a donut, it was clear there was regulars who enjoyed the establishment. I hope you have as positive as experience as I did.

This is a little tiny donut shop. I had searched sandwiches and the reviews. They had good reviews. We ordered sandwiches before we went winetasting. The sandwiches were very good as a very good night place to stop. We ordered donuts for dessert. The chocolate and the jelly donuts were very good, prices seemed reasonable.

I love this donut shop they are the best in the county! Their staff are kind, friendly and are patient with you when you order. Their salmon bagels are my go to and the kids love to pick out their donuts or breakfast sandwiches and drinks. I have also done a large order of donut holes for a party and they were great and very accommodating. Our breakfast was not very appetizing at the hotel, so my husband said we were going to the Donut Cafe. I was so happy, that they had more than donuts. I had the bagel sandwich on Saturday and on Sunday, I had the smoke salmon sandwich. Both fresh and delicious. I did have a cinnamon role and a chocolate donut. So fresh and delicious too. Next time we are staying over, I am sure we will go back there.

This place!! The owner is very well liked and two local girls run the operation. Fresh croissant, (not bubbly if you know what I mean) And omg the chef salad offering is the bomb, esp. Best doughnuts I know of, fantastic fritters, buttermilk doughnuts, French doughnuts (friday-sunday, come early they sell fast! Worth it!), and AMAZING croissants. You get to choose doughnut filling, its all delicious. Best maple glaze ever. They also have savory sandwiches, and prepared yogurt cups, fruit, self serve coffee and that kind of stuff. Super friendly and home town feel, local staff are always a delight. Love this place and can not recommend it enough.

My family likes donuts, but often donuts don't taste like they're supposed to. You know what I mean, when we bite into a maple bar, apple fritter, or jelly donut, we expect it to have a certain taste, lots of shops don't make donuts taste right, but Donut Street faithfully gives us that trusted taste.

Hands down the best bagel I?ve had in California. Donuts are amazing too.

This is a cute breakfast sandwich,donut,croissant shop. The first morning my husband had sausage and cheese croissant that was delicious. I had a ham and cheese croissant that was perfect. The second day my husband got the jalapeno and cheese bagel with cream cheese. They didn't spare any cream cheese. The strawberry croissant was delicious too.

Awesome sandwiches, great donuts, excellent coffee & tai tea! This is our go-to spot for a quick breakfast & lunch. We call ahead & take our orders to-go. These quality sandwiches have fueled many hours of work for us. Breakfast is my favorite meal & these guys do it right. Definitely check them out!

Love the donuts !! So delicious.

First off, I should have taken the picture, this is a cool little place kind of on the edge of town and the people are terrific. Had to stop because of the giant donut sign, and ended up chatting it away and having a good cup of Joe and several delicious donuts. They were really friendly and talked about the people in the area which they all really seem to love where they lived.

Stopped here on the way to some wine tasting. It is a mom & pop shop. In addition to donuts, they sell sandwiches. When we went there was only one person working and. Steady stream of customers coming through. She worked hard, was very friendly and got everyone served. This is 4 stars because the sandwiches we had were basic, but very good. We will stop here again.

Hidden gem! Doesn?t look like much from the outside but the bagel sandwiches were absolutely fantastic! Prices are more than fair - we had two bagel sandwiches, a maple donut and two cold drinks and it only came out to $20!

I?m a little confused by the reviews. This place has very average food. We had the jalape?o bagel with jalape?o cream cheese and the breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a plain old fashion. All the ingredients are pre-made and they put it together and microwave it. Plymouth would be the most amazing wine destination if they could get just get some decent places to eat.

Arrived at 2:15 today, Thursday, and it was closed. All windows covered so I don't know if they are in business or not. Friday, New review....went back this morning and while I really hate to give a small business a bad review, these were not good. Got a couple different kinds, fritter and donuts. They were all so oily that we couldn't eat them. The place is cute, staff friendly, and lots of pastry choices, so I hope this was an isolated poor representation.

This place is great! Everything I've tried has been amazing- croissants, with or without ham/cheese/jalape?o, bear claws, donuts, bagels, and Thai tea to name a few. Everytime I get something else I'm blown away. Staff are friendly, store is nice and clean.

Apparently, the person behind the counter at Donut Street completely missed the lesson on customer service. She was terse, condescending, and much more interested in laughing with her coworkers in the back than communicating with me. I felt like my presence was bothering her. I won?t be bothering her again.

Had the sausage breakfast sandwich and a delicious fresh glazed old fashioned doughnut. Breakfast sandwich was tasty, cooked just right and cheese was perfectly melted! Doughnut was sweet, airy and delicious. Added a hot tea, hit the spot perfectly!

This is one of the best donut shops i have ever been to. It was very clean, staff is friendly oh, and the variety of donuts and pastries was unbelievable! I would definitely stop by there again.

Hella delish breakfast fare. This is where I stop on my way to work for super yummy not too sweet donuts, tasty coffee and fine bagels. There's not much around these parts, so we are lucky to have a great little nook like this around!

Great service and great donuts. Fairly good selection, great when you consider there isn't a huge amount of traffic through there that stops and almost zero foot traffic. I just went to this coffee shop this morning on my way with my family to go hiking. I walked in with my family, my husband and our three small children. We live in Ione and have heard about this donut shop and our service here was very poor. First off, we were not greeted instead she said ?wait?. Sweetest doughnut shop in the county with some killer sandwiches too! I am not sure where else you could get bagel and lox within 50 miles. Highly recommended.
