Donut Star & Teppanyaki

This place has recently got remodeled or something but it is always so good and delicious! They have Mongolian BBQ now where they charge you by the pound and you can load up as many bowls as you want ! I enjoyed a chicken shrimp steak plate that came on a bed of rice, vegetables . Had a great experience at this location. There's a lot of Showmanship going on. The staff is very willing to help. In everytjjng they do they are very charismatic and they treat people very well. I was surprised to see how many people were coming in and out considering that this was a location that has a small parking area. But the food is Absolutely Fresh the donuts and the pastries were very light and tasty. Can't wait to come and try out the Mongolian section

I tried their teriyaki plate, and it was good, but if I'm being honest, the fresh food section for Mongolian noodles look even better, and the doughnuts looked like the perfect dessert. I need to go back and try these, don't let the outside fool you. I know it fooled me, especially the name threw me off when I saw all their menu options lol.

Omgggg I haven?t been here in over 10 years! Last time I came is when I did my training near by for the county. Their bowls are delish! ???? Their apple fritters are good too, but I no longer eat sweets. They get pretty busy during lunch hour due to all the county employees working nearby, but they get the food to you pretty quickly. Highly recommend.

It's okay. Feels like any other neighborhood donut shop. The menu needs to be updated. Doesn't have mochi donuts. Teppanyaki/Teriyaki Plates were very good. I had a Value Plate with Shrimp, Chicken & Beef & I enjoyed it. Shrimp was the most flavorful imo.

Stopped by here wanting some donuts after a painful appointment in the area, was not disappointed. I ordered some (6) donut holes and a raspberry filled donut. Both were delicious and quite sizable. Definitely made me feel better. My total came to $3.95 for everything.

We stopped for donuts after an early appointment and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! Very cool people and decent food too! Donuts were SOFT & FRESH ?? I even ordered a steak & chicken bowl that was great! Not a ton of meat but what more can you ask for, for $9.99? Oh! And their Boba smoothies were awesome! We got a taro and a strawberry/banana and LOVED them! Only complaint I have is the pan handlers out front.. I mean, it's expected right there but geez they are persistent. I'm just a single Mom

I was craving Teriyaki Chicken so I decided to try this place. I have to say that in my experience this Teriyaki is better than Waba Grill without the high price. The beef was lacking a little but the chicken was really really good. I will definitely come back here. The ladies are nice and very accommodating. They also have sandwiches and donuts.

This is a hidden gem in this area. Very good options for donuts, quick bites & meals. So far everything I tried from here, tastes good. They qot good quality foods for decent price. The portions are also better than other similar places. Situated right by the I-10 freeway & easy access. The staff are very polite & professional. Very quick service. The food here is very good, I appreciate the simple menu. It?s sort of like waba grill but family owned and not as expensive. I didn?t try any donuts so I can?t comment on those. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Their food is so healthy and good. I just don't like that they changed the containers they put your food in alot smaller then before.

Hole in the wall donut shop not only do they sell the obvious, but they sell some great chicken/beef/veggie bowls that would give Waba a run for their money. You can also substitute your rice for chow mein! Upgrade to the "Plate" if you have a big appetite. During the colder months I noticed they also sell Wonton/veggie soup, also really good. Everything at this establishment great down to the customer service.

I'll add pictures at a later date, but this place is a little Gem. The teriyaki bowls are great. My go to, bowls are the #7 and #4, add vegetables and green onions. They've recently added Mongolian beef, which I look forward to trying. It's a family business, and they're friendly and always happy to serve you. Its hard to believe this a donut shop. Its a great spot, with nice people and a cool vibe.

This place has been around forever it seems like.... Is a mom and pop type shop.. But surprisingly enough it has a mass selection of different kinds of food From Asian food to donuts I was brought in today to try the breakfast croissants .....Let me tell you they were really good This place is busy because they're customers keep coming back The food is good is fairly priced i highly recommended......????

Great place to get your morning fix. The donuts were a good size and tasty. The gentleman was very friendly and welcoming. A bit pricey, but the quality is good.

I love this place. The chicken teriyaki bowl is delicious and is the best. So many options on the menu. And if you have a sweet tooth, hey the donuts are yummy fresh and will satisfy you.

I don?t recommend coming here. Find another donut shop. The younger lady who wears the red apron is kinda Rude and not welcoming. The darker skin older guy is also rude and chooses who he wants to be kind too. I don?t need to come and support this kind of place.

Really good teriyaki bowls here. I been coming here for years and years to come as long as they stay open. Keep up the good food. Also check out this place Hijoz de su Madre in Rialto. I highly recommend that mariscos place.

Delicious and you definitely get your moneys worth

So I've been in the area for about 5 months now and just tried this place. It's connected, one side is Asian bowl cuisine and the other is donuts. One day I didn't want to cook, but only had around 8 dollars and wanted something other thany usual del taco. I got their chicken bowl. I love coming here because they have my favorite breakfasts, lunches, and drinks. My favorite are the orange cruellers, warm ham and cheese (warmed up), smoothies, and the chicken teriyaki lunch bowls. Today I tried a Taro smoothie with whipped cream and boba which was delicious as always! TY!

This has been one of my Favorite spots in Southern California. The outside and inside of this location could use some updates but the MOST important part is the food. If i could have a teriaky bowl a day I'd be happy...Whenever walking in you're greeted with a smile. The donuts here are delicious. Prices are reasonable and fast friendly service is better than any Fast food restaurant.

This is my favorite teriyaki place in the Loma Linda/Redlands area. I love how there's no surprise what you'll find here: teriyaki and donuts! For around $6, you can get a chicken teriyaki bowl with rice & veggies, and for $6.75, you can get a combo chicken & beef bowl. Food is cheap and tastes good. Tastes better than waba grill and flame broiler. Unlike most donut places they are usually stocked on donuts throughout the day. The surrounding area is pretty ugly with lots of homeless people so lock your car.

Teriyaki bowl meat was hard felt old. Plus they charged a credit card charge when I paid in cash. Some workers are bad in understanding. Repeat orders ,they get it wrong.

Easily the best teriyaki I have eaten in the Inland Empire. I?m originally from Seattle where the teriyaki is top class and this teriyaki is just as good. Forget Waba Grill, come here instead.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I came in about 2 mins ago and the guy totally ignored me. I just wanted a glaze donut cause that?s really all he had. I?m mad I didn?t get my donut. And just because you have money to open a business doesn?t mean you should, or at the very least take some customer service classes or master our language (English) so you can better serve us. What is so hard about saying ?one moment, I?ll be right with you.? And to think i was going to spend money here.

Oh my the best chicken and veggie bowls with green onion. If you go during your lunch they are very quick on getting your order. You can call ahead and it will be ready when you get there.

Went for the Grilled Riblet platter for myself and husband as well as a salmon Bowl for daughter. Plenty of food for all, well balanced on veggie and fruit with the meat and rice. Added extra teriyaki sauce. Able to get a coffee or a fountain drink. Small family owned business who remember their regulars and what they like. Fresh made to order food! I haven?t tried the donuts here, but I love their rice bowls!! I have tried the chicken and the beef ones and I think I would get the half and half next time cause i just can?t choose... They are delicious and perfect since i work in the area (around $7 for a bowl)

What a great place! I went in just a few minutes before closing and they had a full selection of fresh delicious donuts. FINALLY, a place that keeps donuts on hand even for us moms who have to accomplish last minute slumber party donut runs!! Absolutely love this place! Their donuts and croissants are delicious and always taste fresh, and have a great variety of stuff to choose from. Where they really stand out to me though is their teriyaki bowls. They're made fresh and have all the options waba grill or flame broiler have, but better quality. I come here often for lunch as I work near by and would rather have something healthy than greasy.

We were passing through San Bernadino for the first time today. We decided to try Donut Star. This shop has friendly and excellent service as well as fantastic donuts, cinnamon rolls, etc! I Highly recommend it!

Really good sandwiches. BLT on a bagel is loaded. 8 bucks but worth it... They have Chinese food in a donut shop! Haven't tried it yet but good concept. No pork on the menu.

I like this place for its chicken bowls, they have different verities like veggie bowl, fish, steak, and chicken (each bowl comes with rice). Its actually a donut shop that makes good food from sandwiches to bagels ect. With decent prices that won't hurt your lunch budget.

Stopped by today and was gretted very kindly by the lady working the register got my self the teriyaki bowl with chicken and steak per her recommendation . It was very tasty The coffee was also very fresh. Note I went in at lunch time too

The review is not how the taste experience was.. because we didn?t get to taste anything! It said open on Google.. But nope it was all dark and Closed here at 5.05am Hope to be able to taste your donuts and coffee another day :)

I love their donuts and croissant breakfast sandwiches. You can order one on the phone 15 minutes ahead if you're in a rush. Always pleasant service.

They're mainly known here for their donuts and chicken/beef bowls but my favorite item here is the turkey croissant sandwich. I often have my car worked on across the street at Car Doctors so I sometimes stop by here for breakfast. The chicken and beef bowls here are better than the ones you can get at Waba Grill and are are cheaper as well. Would recommend to give this place a visit.

Everyone from work goes here. Staff is super nice and the bowls are really good and the price is awesome!! On top of being able to get donuts too! The chili oil sauce is amazing!!!

This is more than a donut shop, it is also a Chinese fast food outlet. My friends were especially pleased with their Salmon plate and their different variety of meat bowls.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. They serve donuts but also rice bowls and sandwiches. If the front parking lot is full, there's plenty of parking on the back end. Cash is best here, but they do take debit and credit cards.

SOoo Good! Great Food, Great Service and good prices. My Husband and I stop there on our way down the mountain for breakfast, their ham and cheese croissants are delicious! And their grilled teriyaki chicken and beef are like the best in town, tastes better than some "fancy asian restaurants". Their chow mein noodles are perfect, soft, delicious and not salty. We enjoy everything and more people need to try this place out :) You ladies that work there are awesome.

They charge a dollar for no ice. I went in and asked for a twist and a thai tea no ice or boba. The lady told me it is a dollar extra. I asked for what? She said because I asked for no ice and they will only fill the cup half way. Insane. I walked out because not only do they put too much ice and after 3 good sips your drink is gone, but the drink is already cold. Bulk up my drink with ice and charge me $4.50.? Never. Gonna contact the BBB and see if that is legal.

Ordered a dozen donuts..mixed. The donuts were just okay but the price was steep..almost $12. For that much, they should have thrown in a premium donut like a bear claw or cinnamon roll. I didn't think it was worth it.

What more could you ask for from a donut store? How about teriyaki? It just so happens that this donut shop also serves the best teriyaki in San Bernardino County. Her chicken and steak are unbelievably amazing as well as the rib dish. You can choose from full on plates or bowls and all are equally delicious. As for donuts, the sky is the limit.
