This donut shop is really great and well deserve 5 star. Bear claw and apple fritter were as expected. perfectly balanced with sugar glaze/filling, fresh and melting.
The best donut shop ever. SoCal has a lot of similar style donut shops and the donuts themselves are basically the same. Unfortunately these shops are nowhere to be seen outside of the LA and Ventura county area. The shop is owned by a nice couple, they are very friendly and might end up remembering you after only a few visits. They have a lot of drink options, drink fridge and more that they make. The egg bagel sandwiches are a must-have! They do put a lot of pepper on them so beware if you aren't a big p

People are super friendly and the food is super good. You can have less sweeten donuts options like these two in the pictures. I enjoyed coming to here for 10 years! Their business is good so writing a review is just to express my appreciation of the great service they provide.

The owners here are a very friendly husband wife duo. Waiting in line you can see how they remember each of their regulars by the stream of banter all the way through your order. There?s a very good variety of donuts themselves, you can find all your standard donut styles, as well as a couple kinds that are Moorpark Unique I got the perfect apple fritter here, nothing I got was soggy or stale and the owners were very friendly which is always the cherry on top. My definite choice for donuts in Moorpark!
Get there around 6 AM when the Jalape?o Ham and Cheese gets out of the oven. You'll see me sitting in my car eating mine. The owners are masters of small talk. Love the donuts too.

This donut shop is hands down the best donut shop in Ventura County!! I've been eating here since I was a kid. The quality has never changed. I always knew I liked them but I first realized how amazing they are when I started working. When I bring donuts in to the office people rave about them and I get requests for them. The owners are kind and always happy to see customers! It is truly a great donut shop!

I think I've now tried all the donut shops in Moorpark, and Donut Shop West to me is the best. They have a good selection of donuts, and I especially like their apple fritter (fried or baked) and the tiger tail. The couple that runs the shop are warm and friendly.

I have been going to this donut shop since I was a little boy, and now take my two sons 20 years later who are about the same age I was. The same owners run the shop, and the donuts remain the best I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and make the stop, it'll be worth it.
