Thank you to the lady who shared the donuts with us in the dog park.We fell in love and had to come back for more. Exceptional donuts?perfectly sized, not too sweet, and paired with great coffee.

I love bringing treats to my friends when I go to Pickleball so I yelped it up real quick and I found this super cute donut shop. What I love about this place is the pastries are not huge, they?re a perfect portion so you can try more than one and not feel guilty. Lol. I tried the apple fritter and it was absolutely delicious. And the rest of the pastries I got were a hit. Everyone inhaled them. I will definitely go back here because for a whole box of pastries I paid around $25 dollars.

I must be an idiot, no idea how I slept on this spot. Excellent coffee, pleasant staff and I was in a candy shop. They used to have a location downtown but that building was bought and turned into a condo. Not new news. I told them that I must have been 5-0 in a previous life because I love donuts. DS provided doughnuts for my then fiance and I in 2022. At the close of the ceremony, we noticed the attendees leaving with plates of hoarded doughnuts. I'm still wondering today where my aunt got her large zip lock bag to store hers! Best doughnuts I have had by a distance. We love visiting my mom in Oakland from Vacaville, or maybe we just love visiting the best doughnut shop in all the East Bay!

This place rules. We've loved it since it used to be at 19th street Bart and have become loyal to the East Oakland location. A special gift are their seasonal soufganyot for Chanukah. The vanilla bean custard is otherworldly. This place is just the best.

These donuts are delicious!! A local in line suggested a few I wouldn?t have otherwise tried including the o.m.j., the lemon, and the Apple fritter? and these ended up being our favorites!! Everything we tried was delicious, the cronuts, the cream filled maple, and the minis. We will definitely go back when we are in the area! The iced coffee was reasonably priced and hit the spot too.

Such cute and tasty little donuts. Love the variety with classic flavors and some that are a little more non-traditional. Don?t sleep on the fruit jams, they are fantastic, the coffee is great too!

Counterstaff was friendly, patient, and upbeat. They handled the crowd very well. The best option is the mini donuts and pastries if you want to sample the variety of choices. The price is perfect.

LOVED. Described as cronuts, it is a bit more croissant and flaky than donut (60/40). Each donut was not extremely saturated in oil. My personal fave was the coconut, which was one of the rounder donuts. These had such a fine, crispy outer shell while maintaining a soft, decadent interior. While they sold out of the bigger donuts, loved being able to try all the smaller flavors without filing up. Great coffee too!

This place has become my go to spot for donuts. I knew what a cronut (croissant/donut) was before, but I had never had one until I tried these. Every flavor is delicious. It's a great option when you want a donut, but want to go beyond your standard chocolate or glazed donut. I have to recommend the vanilla and the salted caramel, but you can't go wrong with any of them!

Donut Savant is arguably THE best donuts I?ve so far found in the SF Bay Area. This spot should be on the bucket list for any out-of-town visitors, as it has an assortment of donuts that is always freshly baked, decadent without being too sweet and a variety of sizes for all appetites. So much of the selection of these donuts have a melt-in-your-mouth flavor that complement a crispy exterior texture with their comforting soft interior. When they are still slightly warm, eating them is easily addicting.

The best maple bar donut I have ever tasted and I really don't like maple bars. The lemon was delicious. The coffee was delicious, just plain black regular brew! Worth the drive for us!

Parking was easy, street parking right outside. Guy that helped us was super friendly. Most importantly though-- THE DONUTS! They were delicious, still warm and so soft. We tried many different types and they were all amazing. Also, I love that many of the options come in a mini size so you feel much less guilty trying multiple different donuts. Highly recommend checking this place out!!

Not your ordinary Donut place , I would say more like a gourmet donut place. I only tried Two things the cinnamon sugar cronette and the maple cronette both were excellent. In case you don't know a cronette is sort of like a donut croissant hybrid. Will have to come back to try the other varieties. Definitely give this place a try .

Really good donuts! I don?t personally even like donuts?though my wife and kids certainly do?but we all thought these were great and among the best we?ve had. The creative/unique varieties like lemon curd or marshmallow fluff and peanut butter were really good, but even the typical varieties like Boston creme were extremely well-executed. (No place to sit inside, but there was a table outside where we could stand and eat.)

We drive from Richmond once a month or so for these next level donuts. The Cron?ts will blow your mind and the Suffaniyots are great too. And the coffee too, love the coffee.

How can a donut get better than this? The texture is a cross between a donut and croissant. PERFECT balance of sweet, buttery, and salty without being overly surgery and having too many toppings. Donut Savant manages to push the boundaries of donuts in all the right ways. Far too many trendy donut spots just create larger overdone donuts with serving sizes that make no sense. Savant nails it with something different that just works. From the cront to their creme brulee donut everything here is tasty and just the right size. The coffee is pretty solid and the staff is friendly.

These are one of the best donuts I've had in the bay. They've many petit size donuts too which are amazing as quick bites. We went a little crazy and bought all kinds in one go but they're worth it. Need to have them fresh though. The place is not much crowded in the mornings

So I was in San Antonio, TX a few years back and I had a military friend from VA that always wanted to stop by a Krispy Kreme on the weekends. Why??? I had my first visit here with my grandson this morning. What a great place for a cappuccino, juice, and donuts. Everything was delicious and the staff were particularly friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.

The donuts taste so bad. I don't know what happened but I think ever since they moved the quality went down. I remember they started in downtown Oakland, now they're in east Oakland and it seems like they are trying to gentrify that area.

Street parking and equitable prices! So happy to find a place that actually sells at prices our communities can afford! Several options and all delicious! 2 customers allowed at a time which does create a line outdoors but the line was fast and you can order coffee and get it outside. Absolutely exquisite flavor and you can tell they put a lot of care into each amazing creation! The nuance of flavor in each bite is stellar, and each donut I had today was so much better than any I've ever had in chain shops (make no mistake, I love those too! But these are just so fresh and rich I'd choose these any day). A little treat frequently costs under a dollar, I'd say that's as guilt free as it comes. So excited to go back already :)

Got here at 7:30 am, they had 6 customers already while I was there (3 before and 3 after). This place is hopping. Great customer service. Fresh tasting donut holes and cronuts. Not too sweet. Some of the best donuts in the Bay Area, and an Oakland gem. Their small vanilla glazed doughnuts & cronettes are absolutely delicious. We picked some up and had our caterers offer them as a late-night treat at our wedding!

Amazing unique donuts. I love the mini cinnamon rolls and tiny 2 bite buttermilk cakes. And the cronuts are to die for. Death by pastry with a smile. The only drawback is they are a no cash business which is a drag but also makes it more difficult to tip (I tip in cash - it's the only way to show you mean it.).

This is one of our local favorites! Interesting donuts and excellent coffee. For the Boston Creme lover, they use the correct pastry creme in their donuts! I could review almost every one of their donuts, but to summarize, they are crafted with high quality ingredients and love. The employees seem to genuinely enjoy being there. The space is small and they ask that only 3 groups be in the building at a time. But on wet days they've generally put up a pop up.

I love this place great donuts and coffee my favorite is the coffee float. Open Wednesday -Sunday closed Monday and Tuesday. Limited seating. No restrooms. Handicap accessible. They even have something for your fur buddies. The staff is amazing, my favorite was Omar, amazing customer service and super friendly.

Just found the place last week. Already been there 3 times. Each time Omar has been amazing, welcoming and Kind. Today I brought my friend and was unpleasantly addressed by the woman behind the counter. I don't normally enjoy donuts, but now that donut savant has moved into my neighborhood, I have theirs regularly! I have tried every flavor, and I really appreciate how each one is uniquely developed and solid on their own: the chocolate ones are super chocolatey and the vanilla ones taste like actual vanilla, but they have different consistencies that bring out the best of their unique flavors. I love their New Orleans style iced coffee as well.

These are such tasty little tidbits. They are small enough into you can order a taste of many different flavor profiles and not have had to much. My favorites are the Croissant based donuts, like the saltef caramel and Maple, although the filled ?Jane? with its not too sweet creamy custard filing was delicious. The cronuts are incredible. The chocolate frosting is rich, dark deliciousness. The jam one is crazy good. I'm not a fan of the raised dough's texture. The cake donut is too salty for my taste. The apple fritters are also very good. It would be nice if they had tables to sit at.

This place was really good the they make their own kind of donuts unlike anywhere else. It was a little pricey but was worth it after trying there one of a kind donuts.

Drove 47 miles to get there at opening on a Saturday; that?s not weird, right? Got lots of smaller donuts so we could taste more things and were wonderfully advised in our choices by the locals in line. The Bernie was the best, but every one was well-made and delicious. We?ll be back!
